Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

In her view, a talented man like Zhang Jingdong should be a charming scholar, and only then can he continuously gain artistic inspiration and hence continually improve his artistic skills.

She even thought of something from this, which was finding a way to become Zhang Jingdong’s woman.

In her eyes, her artistic skills didn’t progress for many years, but after meeting Zhang Jingdong, just during one meal, she received some guidance from him and her artistic skills increased substantially.

But because she didn’t have a fixed relationship with Zhang Jingdong, she couldn’t be with him often, and thus couldn’t continuously receive his guidance.

Once she became his woman, not only could she receive his advice frequently, but could also be in sync with him, becoming like-minded confidants.

After thinking about this, she suddenly felt that Zhang Jingdong was simply a gift from the heavens for her.

His prowess in art was so high, and he was very good-looking, most importantly, whether he was playing music or chess, or writing, he did all with such calmness.

She knew this was a state only attainable when someone’s artistic abilities reached a very high level.

During this one-month period, Yuan Mei hesitated for a long time.

Because ultimately, at her core, she was very proud and enjoyed solitude, so despite Zhang Jingdong being so excellent, she was still unable to make up her mind.

Finally, she performed a divination for herself, the result saying where the wind touches the forest, the mountain personally comes.

So she secretly decided that if Zhang Jingdong contacted her, she would fight for it.

If Zhang Jingdong didn’t contact her again, she would just continue living as before.

And on the third day after she finished divining, Zhang Jingdong proactively called her, which is why she became so excited and lost her composure just now.

She then stood, glanced out the window, hesitated for a moment, and then turned towards the lounge.

There was a dressing table there.

It was the first time she felt insecure about her makeup.

But inside, she felt an indescribable joy and anticipation.

On Zhang Jingdong’s end, after hanging up the phone, Bai Shan and Liu Zihan didn’t say anything, but Huo Chengcheng couldn’t help but say, ”Boss Zhang, you really didn’t hide anything at all! This President Yuan should not only be your student, but also your Inner Chamber Disciple, right?”

Zhang Jingdong, uncharacteristically innocent, said, ”Heaven’s testament, my relationship with this Boss Yuan is absolutely normal teacher-student relationship.”

”She likes music, chess, calligraphy, and painting. Last time when we went for a meal together, because my friend is also good friends with her, we wrote some characters together and played a few rounds of chess.”

”She felt my music and chess skills were good, so I gave her a few pointers, and then she jokingly said she wanted me to be her mentor, but it was all just joking.”

Huo Chengcheng pouted, ”Do you think we’re kids? Just the tone in which that Boss Yuan talked to you, she definitely likes you!”

Zhang Jingdong momentarily felt guilty.

After all, he had sensed it too.

But as nothing really happened between him and Yuan Mei, he confidently asserted, ”With my looks, my talent, my status, I’m not lying, there are plenty of women who have a crush on me, but I’m definitely not the kind of person who recklessly flirts around!”

”I can swear to you right now, nothing has happened between me and this Boss Yuan, if I lie, let the heavens strike me down!”

Huo Chengcheng carefully observed Zhang Jingdong’s expression, seeing he didn’t appear to be lying, hesitated, ”But I have a feeling she’s definitely going to make a move on you!”

Zhang Jingdong, seeing she believed his oath, said, ”Have some faith in your man, will you? Your man is so outstanding, there have been plenty who’ve tried to make a move, but I absolutely won’t let them easily succeed!”

Huo Chengcheng then caught hold of a loophole, ”Easily? So you’re saying as long as they work hard enough, they’ll eventually win you over?”

Zhang Jingdong shrugged, ”I contacted Boss Yuan because her cooking is really delicious, I want you all to enjoy a feast.”

”Since you don’t believe me, fine, I’ll call her now and tell her not to come, now you’ll believe me, right?”

Bai Shan, fearing Zhang Jingdong might become angry, quickly said, ”Chengcheng, Boss Zhang has stated his position so clearly, we must trust him!”

Liu Zihan also hurriedly agreed, ”Chengcheng, we’ve waited for so long and finally got Boss Zhang, why act this way? Let’s just enjoy ourselves!”

Huo Chengcheng, initially satisfied with Zhang Jingdong’s ability to swear and clearly state his position, upon hearing Bai Shan and Liu Zihan’s words, instantly understood completely.

Besides, among the three of them, Bai Shan was Zhang Jingdong’s official girlfriend, and she didn’t say anything; Huo herself actually wasn’t in a position to say anything.

Additionally, she had seen Zhang Jingdong with so many women before; now he’s merely flirting on the phone with a woman, and mainly the woman initiated, while Zhang Jingdong didn’t say anything inappropriate, so indeed she shouldn’t make a fuss out of nothing.

Thinking this, she then said to Zhang Jingdong, ”Alright, I’ll believe you for now, I’m curious to see how good her cooking truly is.”

Zhang Jingdong, seeing she came around, breathed a sigh of relief.
