Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

”Don’t worry, I guarantee you won’t be disappointed... Oh no, if her cooking doesn’t make you feel like ’such dishes are heavenly, rarely heard of in the human world’, then I’m just bragging.”

This statement immediately sparked immense curiosity among Bai Shan and the others.

Bai Shan: ”Now that you’ve said it, it seems her cooking must be really delicious!”

Zhang Jingdong: ”Delicious is the minimum praise for her dishes.”

Liu Zihan joked, ”Boss, aren’t you afraid we might say her cooking isn’t good just to get a chance to punish you?”

Zhang Jingdong casually said, ”People can lie about many things, but they can’t lie about food. When someone tastes truly delicious food, their subconscious reaction is uncontrollable.”

Huo Chengcheng: ”Then let’s hurry up, I’m really curious to see just how good her cooking is.”

Zhang Jingdong restarted the car swiftly, and it soon disappeared from where it was.

More than twenty minutes later, they arrived at Yuan Family Cuisine.

After getting out of the car, seeing the quaint courtyard gate and the beautiful scenery inside that couldn’t be hidden, Bai Shan and the others were instantly amazed.

Liu Zihan couldn’t help but say, ”Boss, is this... is this a restaurant?”

Zhang Jingdong replied with a smile, ”Yes, the first time I found out this was a restaurant, my reaction was the same as yours. But after you taste the food here, I believe you’ll understand why she opened a restaurant in such a beautiful garden.”

”Let’s go!”

Bai Shan and the others followed Zhang Jingdong into the courtyard.

And upon seeing the artfully arranged mountain and water scenery inside, they were completely enchanted!

Even without the food, just sitting here for an evening would be worth the visit.

Bai Shan then said, ”Being able to open a restaurant in such a beautiful courtyard, it shows that Boss Yuan truly is a remarkable woman.”

At this point, she suddenly thought of something and continued, ”No wonder she acknowledged you as her master just because you taught her chess and music. It seems she’s really interested in such classical aesthetics!”

Zhang Jingdong responded naturally, ”She’s not just interested. Her skill level in each art form is exceptionally high, even surpassing some so-called masters of calligraphy and music.”

Huo Chengcheng glanced at Zhang Jingdong, ”That sounds a bit boastful, doesn’t it?”

”If her skills are that high and she calls you master, it means your skills must be even higher than those masters?”

Zhang Jingdong simply nodded, ”If you really examine it closely, that’s the fact. I want to be humble, but my ability just doesn’t allow it!”

He casually wrapped an arm around Huo Chengcheng’s waist.

”I’ve written so many songs for you. Haven’t you noticed your man is top-notch in the arts?”

Although Huo Chengcheng had already been with Zhang Jingdong, it was initially due to losing a game and having to face punishment, and it happened in front of so many people, so it happened half reluctantly.

So at this moment, it was the first time she heard Zhang Jingdong say ”your man” to her, making her instinctively feel a bit shy and annoyed.

But she also knew she couldn’t be angry with him.

After all, she had already been with Zhang Jingdong in every sense, and the morning after, she had that conversation with him on the balcony, which marked their commitment.

Meanwhile, reminded by Zhang Jingdong’s words, she had to admit his talent was indeed impressive.

Though she hadn’t personally witnessed his achievements in music, chess, calligraphy, and painting, she genuinely liked the operatic songs he wrote for them from the bottom of her heart.

So she had to say, ”…Alright, based on those songs, you’re indeed talented. But as for music, chess, calligraphy, and painting... how about you showcase them live for us later?”

Zhang Jingdong was amused and seized the opportunity, ”It seems you have quite some doubts about my talents in those areas. If that’s the case, let’s make a bet.”

”If later, my skills in music, chess, calligraphy, and painting can astonish you, then you each must agree to one punishment from me.”

”And if you think my skills in those areas are just average, then I lose, and each of you can punish me once. How about that?”

Huo Chengcheng thought for a moment and then said, ”Your proposal isn’t bad, but we don’t have much capability to assess those skills. How can we judge your level and determine the winner then?”

”We surely can’t let Boss Yuan grade you, right? She called you master so sweetly just now, I can’t trust her!”

Zhang Jingdong casually said, ”Don’t worry, a true master’s work can appeal to both refined and popular tastes. High-level peers can appreciate his exceptional creativity, and ordinary amateurs can feel the basic beauty or appeal of his work.”

”Just like how later, with Boss Yuan’s dishes, a top chef can taste the ingenuity and innovation in her ingredients and cooking methods, while we ordinary folks can judge her level through the obvious taste and presentation.”

Huo Chengcheng nodded thoughtfully, ”Okay, what you’re saying makes sense. I’m in!”

Zhang Jingdong saw that she got on board and then turned to look at Bai Shan and Liu Zihan.

”What about you two?”

The pair eagerly nodded.

Zhang Jingdong slyly grinned, ”Great, it seems tonight is destined to be a sleepless night!”

Then he subtly brushed his right hand across the three’s backsides and led them to the main building behind.

Yuan Mei’s assistant, seeing Zhang Jingdong arrive, immediately understood why her boss acted the way she did earlier and promptly stepped up to greet them.

”Boss Zhang, you’re here. President Yuan has already instructed, please follow me.”

”President Yuan is in the kitchen preparing the dishes for you and will be here shortly.”

Zhang Jingdong nodded with a smile, ”Alright, thank you!”

”You’re welcome.”

The three of them then followed the assistant to the same room they had visited with Yan Ning, which Yuan Mei used specifically for entertaining close friends.

After Yuan Mei’s assistant left, Bai Shan and the others looked at the decor of the room and were amazed again.

Bai Shan: ”This room is so beautiful, it’s like a dream study!”

Liu Zihan: ”If the boss hadn’t told us in advance this was a restaurant, I would never have imagined this could be a dining place.”

Even Huo Chengcheng couldn’t help but admire, ”Eating gourmet food here while enjoying such scenery outside, it’s truly a top-notch experience!”
