Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

”After I heard Jingdong’s suggestion last time, I suddenly realized, and started practicing according to what he said. As a result, I’ve been practicing for less than two months, and I already feel I’ve made great progress.”

Bai Shan looked at the genuine smile on Yuan Mei’s face and couldn’t help but exclaim, ”I think what you said is very true. In the journey of art, having the guidance of a good teacher is indeed very important.”

”I study Opera, and although I had some small achievements before I turned 13, in the following years I felt I was standing still.”

”I didn’t know why at the time, until I later met a teacher who gave me two suggestions. I thought what she said made a lot of sense, and started practicing as she suggested. In less than half a year, I had a breakthrough.”

When Yuan Mei first met Bai Shan, she immediately sensed a special aura about her.

Upon hearing that Bai Shan studied Opera, Yuan Mei was instantly enlightened and became interested.

”So you study Opera, no wonder you have such a unique artistic flair!”

”I was initially very interested in Opera as well, but my talent in this area is average, so even though I’ve studied for many years, I’m still at an amateur level.”

At this point, Bai Shan glanced at Zhang Jingdong and said, ”Have you ever sought advice from Boss Zhang on this subject?”

Yuan Mei was initially taken aback, then quickly realized something: ”Could Boss Zhang also be highly skilled in Opera?”

Bai Shan replied earnestly, ”I’m not just praising him out of affection for Boss Zhang. His understanding and singing level in Opera are way above mine.”

Liu Zihan chimed in immediately, ”I can attest to this, Boss Zhang is indeed an exceptionally rare Opera talent!”

Huo Chengcheng, although reluctant to praise Zhang Jingdong, knew it could help bring her closer to Yuan Mei.

She said, ”Boss Yuan, not only is Boss Zhang a great Opera singer, but he also excels in teaching people how to sing. I think you should definitely seek his advice.”

Yuan Mei also glanced at Zhang Jingdong, and her admiration and awe for him instantly grew.

”... Mm, I’ve taken note, I will definitely seek his guidance!”

Even though the four of them were chatting continuously, their voices were pleasant and each had considerable musical skills, making their conversation rhythmical and enjoyable. Zhang Jingdong didn’t find it noisy at all, but rather quite pleasurable.

Less than an hour later, he finished painting.

He carefully reviewed it, made two amendments, and finally put down the brush.

”I’ve finished the painting, come and take a look.”

As soon as the words left his mouth, Yuan Mei stood up immediately.

Bai Shan and the other three stood up as well, and followed Yuan Mei to the desk.

Yuan Mei looked at it for less than a minute and was once again amazed by Zhang Jingdong’s artistic talent!

After witnessing his performance last time, she originally thought his best skill was in music, but it turns out his talent in painting is even greater!

She could even see brushstrokes in his work that only masters could achieve.

It was truly remarkable!

At this moment, she secretly decided she must learn painting from Zhang Jingdong in the future.

She couldn’t help but feel fortunate that she had just expressed her feelings to him and was lucky to establish a relationship with him on the spot, which gave her peace of mind and many opportunities to learn from him.

Although Bai Shan and the others didn’t have much knowledge in painting, especially in traditional Chinese painting, Zhang Jingdong’s work was visually stunning and had a profound meaning.

Furthermore, they confirmed that Yuan Mei was an expert in music, chess, calligraphy, and painting, and at the moment she was looking at Zhang Jingdong’s painting as if a fan was meeting their idol.

Thus, they quickly agreed that Zhang Jingdong’s painting was of a very high standard.

Noticing this, Zhang Jingdong said, ”Okay, if you’ve seen enough, give the painting a score.”

”Boss Yuan, you give it a score too, out of a hundred.”

With this, he suddenly thought of something and continued to Bai Shan and the other three, ”I haven’t demonstrated my chess skills this time, but I have added another person to the scoring.”

”And Boss Yuan is at a professional level, so her scoring is very professional, which makes up for the chess demonstration, right?”

Bai Shan nodded directly, ”I think it’s fair.”

Huo Chengcheng quickly chimed in, ”I trust Boss Yuan’s expertise, I think it’s fair too.”

Liu Zihan glanced at Huo Chengcheng and then nodded with a smile, ”I also think it’s fair.”

Zhang Jingdong shrugged, ”Since you all think it’s fair, let’s start scoring. Boss Yuan, you’re the professional, you go first!”

Yuan Mei took another serious look at the painting on the desk and said, ”I give you a score of 100 for this piece!”

Zhang Jingdong was momentarily moved, but outwardly looked incredulous.

”Wait... Boss Yuan, I seemed to have mentioned to you that it’s on a scale of one to a hundred?”

”Yes, you did mention, that’s why I’m giving you only 100 points! If it were out of a thousand, I’d give you a thousand points!”

Zhang Jingdong couldn’t help but laugh, ”Boss Yuan, you’re being a bit obvious, you can’t just give my painting this score because you like me as a person?”

”If you do this, people will think your score is biased and won’t recognize it!”

But Yuan Mei unexpectedly replied solemnly, ”I didn’t give a perfect score because I like you, but because I genuinely think this painting is excellent, that’s why I gave it full marks.”

”Honestly, I even feel that many works by modern Chinese painting masters, like Li Keran and Zhang Daqian, don’t reach the level of this painting.”

Seeing her sincerity, Zhang Jingdong suppressed his happiness and turned to Bai Shan, ”Alright, it’s your turn to score.”

Bai Shan immediately extended both hands, ”I also give this painting 100 points!”

Liu Zihan raised both hands immediately, ”100 points!”

Huo Chengcheng joined in, ”I also give you 100 points!”

Zhang Jingdong was completely delighted now, ”Wow, you all gave me full marks, this might make me arrogant!”

”But never mind, a bit of encouragement is nice once in a while.”

As he finished, he suddenly looked meaningfully at Huo Chengcheng, ”If that’s the case, then I win, are you ready to receive your punishment?”
