Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

Everyone thought it was a small ritual designed by Zhang Jingdong to end the performance with Bai Shan.

Even Bai Shan herself thought so.

But after hugging Bai Shan, Zhang Jingdong didn’t let go of her and instead started talking about the ”History of Opera Development” to her.

”Congratulations, Host, for successfully completing the teaching in a special environment, rewarded with two million yuan!”

Bai Shan was caught off guard and instantly panicked.

However, she knew she couldn’t go against Zhang Jingdong, so she attentively began to learn.

As for Huo Chengcheng and the other two, they were completely dumbfounded!

They simply didn’t expect Zhang Jingdong to be so bold.

Huo Chengcheng couldn’t help but ask, ”Zhang Jingdong, what... what are you doing?”

Zhang Jingdong turned his head, looking calm, and said, ”Huo Chengcheng, it’s only been a few hours, and you’ve already forgotten our bet?”

”This is your real punishment. Don’t tell me you can’t handle losing?”

Huo Chengcheng was somewhat indignant but was rendered speechless.

Meanwhile, Yuan Mei suddenly recalled the bet she made with Zhang Jingdong on her way there, and her face turned red with embarrassment.

Because Huo Chengcheng and the others were still present, Zhang Jingdong only lectured for less than twenty minutes before ending the class.

Then he turned his gaze to Huo Chengcheng.

”Huo Chengcheng, it’s your turn. Let’s perform Master Mei’s ’A Smile Worth a Thousand Gold’ composed for Daiyu.”

Huo Chengcheng bit her lip and then nodded slightly.

After some preparation, Huo Chengcheng began to recite the lines:

After the new rain, the lotus aroma fills the air,

Flower shadows all around in the sunset glow.

...

Yuan Mei observed that compared to Bai Shan, Huo Chengcheng was less glamorous but more lively and agile.

Moreover, Huo Chengcheng’s poses were better.

Mainly because her figure was more voluptuous than Bai Shan’s.

Then, Zhang Jingdong began to sing:

In the boudoir, unfounded arguments arise,

Discontent dispels with the help of wine and gardenias.

...

Once again, Yuan Mei was amazed by Zhang Jingdong!

He was incredibly versatile; when he played Xiang Yu just now, he captured all his unique charisma and melancholy perfectly.

And now, playing Jia Baoyu, he wonderfully portrayed the delicate and sentimental ways of a playboy surrounded by women all day.

He seemed like he could do a clone technique; just moments ago, he was a fierce tiger, and now he’s a playful flirt.

As she watched, she became deeply moved by Zhang Jingdong’s performance.

Even though Huo Chengcheng had been somewhat upset with Zhang Jingdong before singing, she seemed to have completely forgotten about it by now.

It’s understandable—singing with Zhang Jingdong was just too comfortable.

The experience was even better than her previous experiences performing with her teacher, because Zhang Jingdong’s level was extremely high. He not only matched her performance completely but also effortlessly supported her.

When she sang, everything felt just right, whether it was the breathing, rhythm, or emotion.

Anyone who sings opera, especially one who loves opera from the heart, knows that when you find the perfect partner to collaborate on an outstanding performance, the sense of achievement and joy that arises rivals any other pleasure in the world.

And so, as she sang, Huo Chengcheng grew increasingly happy. Her emotions towards Zhang Jingdong gradually shifted from resentment to relief, and eventually even a hint of eager anticipation emerged.

Zhang Jingdong naturally sensed this, so after the performance, he went straight ahead and wrote a scene titled ”Baoyu and Daiyu’s Delightful Romance.”

It beautifully compensated for the unfulfilled romance between Baoyu and Daiyu in ”Dream of the Red Chamber.”

”Congratulations, Host, for successfully completing the teaching in a special environment, rewarded with two million yuan!”

At first, Huo Chengcheng felt a little embarrassed, but under Zhang Jingdong’s guidance, she quickly mastered this scene.

Meanwhile, Yuan Mei had already adapted to Zhang Jingdong’s teaching style.

Apart from her surprise, she began to secretly observe Zhang Jingdong’s teaching level.

She quickly realized that Zhang Jingdong’s teaching was indeed top-notch.

Although she had never taken a class before, she’d heard similar things from friends during conversations.

The key point was, during a previous chat with Yan Ning, she asked why Yan Ning chose Zhang Jingdong despite his flirtatious nature.

Yan Ning listed several reasons and then mentioned Zhang Jingdong’s exceptional teaching skills.

She even said that while some people are unfaithful in love due to emotional affairs, Zhang Jingdong’s flirtatiousness was largely because of his incredible teaching abilities.

Other teachers could teach at most three or four classes a day, but Zhang Jingdong conducted at least ten, all with exceptionally high quality.

After experiencing Zhang Jingdong’s class firsthand, Yuan Mei realized that Yan Ning wasn’t exaggerating; he truly was a top-tier teacher.

Not only was his teaching dense with information, but the learning outcomes of students like Bai Shan and Huo Chengcheng were also evident.

After the previous class ended, Bai Shan’s face was flushed, and the way she looked at Zhang Jingdong was full of allure and affection.

Tonight, although Huo Chengcheng was visibly dissatisfied with Zhang Jingdong at first, after the class ended, her gaze was also filled with warmth and delight.

This showed just how satisfied she was with the class content.

With this realization, Yuan Mei felt an inexplicable sense of anticipation growing inside her.

Subsequently, Zhang Jingdong performed a scene titled ”Breaking Hongzhou” with Liu Zihan, where Zhang Jingdong played Yang Zongbao and Liu Zihan played Mu Guiying.

Their collaboration was also perfect, with Zhang Jingdong conveying Yang Zongbao’s loyalty and youthful heroism, and Liu Zihan embodying Mu Guiying’s valor and grace, showing women were no less capable than men.

After their performance, Zhang Jingdong, who had consistently accommodated Liu Zihan’s Mu Guiying in the scene, directly offered her a yoga lesson.

Even though Liu Zihan might not have been as outstanding as Bai Shan and Huo Chengcheng in some aspects, she had a boldness and eagerness to learn that was very commendable, once again leaving Yuan Mei and others in awe.

Shortly after this class finished, Zhang Jingdong suddenly turned to look at Yuan Mei.

”Boss Yuan, didn’t you owe me a punishment and also express interest in learning opera with me? How about we perform ’Longevity Palace,’ featuring Nobel Consort Yang and Emperor Tang Ming, right now?”

Yuan Mei’s face instantly turned red with embarrassment again.

Firstly, although Zhang Jingdong referred to it as acting, he had added unexpected elements after performing with Bai Shan and the others.

Secondly, she didn’t expect Zhang Jingdong to dare propose this request now.

But she couldn’t refuse, because she had indeed said she wanted to learn opera from Zhang Jingdong, and she also owed him a punishment.

After about ten seconds of hesitation, feeling both shy and a bit excited, she nodded her head slightly, ”...Alright.”
