Chapter 200: Chapter 135 Then Support Her to Become a Supermodel (Long Chapter, Please Subscribe)_2

”Alright!” Zhang Jingdong smiled with satisfaction: ”Then let’s go and sit over there.”

The two got up and went next door together.

As soon as Su Man entered, she hung on Zhang Jingdong, clearly much more relaxed than just now in An Lu’s room.

Zhang Jingdong certainly felt this and half-jokingly said: ”You two are such good sisters, who would have thought you would also feel a bit constrained in her place?”

As Su Man pulled Zhang Jingdong to sit on the sofa, she said: ”Obviously, people only fully relax in their own space.”

Zhang Jingdong curled his lips: ”Not me, I can completely relax in both of your rooms.”

”Who lets you be a man, and moreover, so capable! A person like you is always the absolute protagonist wherever you are, so of course, you’re entitled to relax!”

Zhang Jingdong sniffed Su Man’s hair fragrance: ”Where are you going later?”

”I’ve scheduled for catwalk training...”

At this point, Su Man hesitated slightly and then continued: ”Jingdong, there’s something I want to talk to you about?”

”Whatever it is, just say it!”

”I got a call from one of my model friends yesterday afternoon, she asked me if I wanted to join the New Silk Road Model Competition with her this year, I was instantly tempted, and then... I agreed right away.”

”That’s a good thing!” Seeing her a bit sheepish, Zhang Jingdong affectionately put his arm around her shoulder: ”What, are you afraid I won’t agree?”

Su Man carefully nodded: ”There’s less than a month until the competition, so I must train hard... I won’t be able to go to the office to work for the time being!”

Perhaps afraid that Zhang Jingdong would overthink it, Su Man continued: ”But this came up suddenly, and I am not fully prepared, so there’s a good chance that I’ll be eliminated before making it to the top 20 like before, and then I will definitely go work at the company seriously!”

Zhang Jingdong laughed and shook his head: ”Haha, what are you thinking about? Do you think I wanted you to go to the company to make money for the company quickly, so you could repay that favor?”

”Don’t worry, not to mention the extent our relationship has reached now, even before, the reason I wanted you in the company was to find various opportunities to boost your fame!”

”So the most important thing for you right now is to go all out in this competition, and I will have the company support you wholeheartedly and protect you!”

Su Man suddenly looked surprised: ”Jingdong, are you... Are you serious?”

Zhang Jingdong gently flicked her nose: ”Of course, it’s true, truer than RMB!”

”Jingdong, you’re really the best, I love you to death!”

Saying this, Su Man took the initiative to kiss Zhang Jingdong’s mouth.

”Host has successfully made the target person initiate a kiss, reward 100,000 yuan!”

Zhang Jingdong smiled casually: ”This is just the beginning, what follows is my real goodness towards you!”

”According to what you said just now, you’ve never made it to the top 20 of this competition, do you know why?”

Su Man twirled her hair beside her ear, her eyes slightly dimmed: ”Firstly, it should be because my own ability is still not enough, and secondly... perhaps because I don’t have any backing.”

Zhang Jingdong said solemnly: ”Let’s talk about the first point. In my eyes, once models reach a certain level, the gap in professional ability between them is not as obvious as in singing and dancing.”

”And last night, I witnessed your professional skills and overall charm for myself; I’ve also seen some top-level shows like Victoria’s Secret.”

”To be honest, I think that although your professional skills and overall quality are still slightly inferior to theirs, if you participate in this Silk Road Model Competition that you just mentioned, there is absolutely no way you wouldn’t make it into the top 20. You should at least be in the top 5!”

”Besides that, with your unique top-tier appearance as a bonus, so I believe that as of now, even looking across all of Huaxia, it would be hard to find even 5 women with more potential as a supermodel than you!”

Su Man felt overjoyed inside after such praise from Zhang Jingdong.

But she said: ”That’s lovers’ bias, right? I’m not as outstanding as you say!”

Zhang Jingdong lifted her delicate chin: ”The more a true top beauty like you is, the more likely you are to be unaware of your beauty. Trust me, you are far better than the best version of yourself you could have ever imagined!”

Seeing a few more doses of confidence in Su Man’s eyes, Zhang Jingdong immediately continued: ”That’s for the first point, now let’s talk about the second point. You said you had no backing, which is only half true. To be precise, it’s because you haven’t done proper public relations.”

”Generally, there are three main purposes to hold these model competitions. The first is to select really talented models to sign contracts with, build them up, and eventually have them make money for the company.”

”The second is for matchmaking, to put it bluntly, it’s for those wealthy people to sift through the big beauties from the public through these contests, and then pick out the suitable ones to become their mistresses.”

”And the last one is for sponsors to use the competition’s influence to promote their own lovers, similar to some rich people invest in filming movies just to prop up their lovers who are actresses.”

Having mixed in the society for so many years and having participated in many model competitions in these years, Su Man had heard some rumors similar to what Zhang Jingdong just mentioned and had also witnessed some such situations.

Therefore, she nodded in agreement: ”Jingdong, no wonder you can do such big business, you see issues so deeply!”
