Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

Chapter 158: Chapter 121: Beautiful Lawyer (Large Chapter, Subscription Requested) _3

”Okay, please wait a moment...”

The other party said while making an internal call on the landline, and then said, ”Lawyer Qin is having a brief meeting, it should be ending soon, please wait over here for a bit.”

”Okay.”

The four of them then followed the other party to a nearby rest area.

Su Man, looking at the beautiful river view outside, immediately understood that this law firm must be very powerful.

She couldn’t help but be moved again by Zhang Jingdong’s importance to her, and so she quietly took hold of his arm.

And Zhang Jingdong, while playing with her hair, had a thought, ”Initiate search!”

”Search initiated...”

”Target person one: Su Man, already contacted.”

”Target person two: Long Yue, already contacted.”

”Target person three: Song Yu, already contacted.”

”Target person four: Qin Yu, facial attractiveness 93 points, figure 95 points, professional ability 98 points, comprehensive score 95 points.”

”Target person five: Zhang Qian, facial attractiveness 88 points, figure 92 points, professional ability 90 points, comprehensive score 90 points.”

Zhang Jingdong couldn’t help but sigh to himself: Her professional ability actually reaches 98 points, seems she is really a pro!

And her comprehensive score is also 95 points, tsk tsk, if there is a chance later, I must try to flirt with her!

About 10 minutes later, the beautiful receptionist came over again, ”Lawyer Qin’s meeting has just ended, please follow me!”

Zhang Jingdong turned his head and gave a few instructions to Long Yue and the others, then led Su Man to a large office.

The beautiful receptionist knocked on the door twice.

A voice from inside said, ”Come in...”

The receptionist turned and said, ”Please, you two!”

Zhang Jingdong and the others then pushed the door and entered the office.

At first glance, Zhang Jingdong was certain that he must find an opportunity to make contact with Qin Yu.

Firstly, Qin Yu was really beautiful, her overall style was somewhat reminiscent of Lee Jiashin.

Secondly, just by the look in her eyes, Zhang Jingdong could tell that Qin Yu was indeed as Yan Ning said, very sharp and dominant.

And for Zhang Jingdong here, such a woman really makes it easy for one to develop a desire to conquer.

”Please have a seat...”

Perhaps sensing Zhang Jingdong’s gaze, Qin Yu’s invitation was polite but carried a trace of reproach.

Zhang Jingdong smiled, and seated himself without hesitation.

Su Man then sat down next to him.

Qin Yu then said, ”Which of you two is the client? Briefly describe the case, and then state your demands.”

Zhang Jingdong looked over at Su Man, who after preparing her words for a moment, then began to recount.

Meanwhile, Zhang Jingdong listened attentively, occasionally casting a straightforward glance at Qin Yu.

Almost twenty minutes later, Su Man finished narrating.

Zhang Jingdong once again looked towards Qin Yu, who seemed to finally lose her patience and actually gave Zhang Jingdong a glare.

However, Zhang Jingdong’s skin was too thick, not only did he not take offense, but he also revealed a sincere smile.

Qin Yu was taken aback for a moment, mainly because she had never encountered such a weirdo as Zhang Jingdong before and was a little unclear about what exactly he meant.

But considering that they were in the office and that Su Man was watching, she chose to temporarily forget about it and then said to Su Man, ”You have two demands in total: one is to terminate the contract with the company; the other is to sue your boss for sexual harassment.”

Su Man nodded: ”That’s right.”

Qin Yu continued, ”According to your description just now, the second demand is difficult to win unless you can provide key evidence, such as audio or video recordings.”

”However, this can be used as a supplement to the former, to put it bluntly, when we are in the court, we can describe your boss’s sexual harassment toward you and then extend that to your desire to terminate the contract with the company.”

”In this way, even if the sexual harassment is hard to establish, it can still serve as a legitimate reason for you to terminate your contract, which can potentially reduce the penalty fees you would have to pay the company for breaking the contract.”

Upon hearing this, Su Man felt somewhat disappointed but also knew it was almost the best outcome, so she sighed, ”Okay, I’ll listen to you!”

At this moment, Zhang Jingdong added, ”Lawyer Qin, if I can find evidence of the company’s boss sexually harassing other employees or even committing more severe acts, would that help us?”

Qin Yu hesitated for a moment and asked, ”Do you already have evidence of their boss harassing other employees?”

Zhang Jingdong shook his head, ”No, but in my opinion, if a person is found to have committed sexual harassment, that means he has likely done it at least ten times before. So I think if we dig deep in this direction, we will definitely find something.”

Qin Yu nodded thoughtfully, ”You make a good point; if we really find such evidence, even if it can’t directly serve as evidence for our case, it can at least act as corroborating evidence, which would be beneficial for us.”

Seeing Qin Yu agreeing with his thought, Zhang Jingdong continued, ”Okay, if that’s the case, then you confront them head-on in court, and I’ll figure out a way to deal a heavy blow in secret. I look forward to a pleasant collaboration.”

Qin Yu vaguely understood what Zhang Jingdong meant and said, ”You’re not thinking of privately threatening him once you get evidence of their boss harassing other employees, are you?”

Zhang Jingdong didn’t expect Qin Yu to be so sharp and spread his hands, ”I think that sometimes the law can’t precisely punish the bad guys. To make them pay an equivalent price, we need to adopt some flexible methods.”

”But rest assured, since I came to you, I definitely won’t do anything foolish.”

”Here’s the plan: if in court he doesn’t go overboard and the penalty fee he demands is within a reasonable range, then we’ll just pay up and not waste time on him.”

”But if he’s too excessive and tries to bully us, at that time, we’ll hit him from both sides. What do you say?”

At that moment, Qin Yu suddenly realized that she had underestimated Zhang Jingdong for looking too young earlier.

Not only was his approach to dealing with things unique, but he also had guts; he was clearly skilled.

Moreover, since he could be regarded as Yan Ning’s friend, he was definitely no ordinary person.

As a top lawyer, Qin Yu was also not one to be bound by conventions, so she said, ”Okay, since you’ve thought of this, we’ll prepare for both scenarios!”

”However, you’d better keep your promise and consult me before making any decision, no matter what. I might not be able to control the whole situation, but I can at least ensure that your decision won’t break the law.”

Zhang Jingdong knew that Qin Yu was sincerely helping, and said, ”Alright, since you’ve said that, I will definitely keep my promise.”

For the next ten minutes or so, the two discussed some details.

Then Zhang Jingdong stood up, reached out his hand to Qin Yu, and said, ”Lawyer Qin, thank you. Regardless of the outcome, I owe you a favor.”

”Should you need anything in the future, I, Zhang Jingdong, will certainly step up!”

Qin Yu looked at Zhang Jingdong’s outstretched hand and her face showed a hint of difficulty. It might have been because of Yan Ning, or perhaps due to Zhang Jingdong’s performance just now, but definitely not out of mere politeness. If it were just for courtesy, Qin Yu would never shake hands with a person of the opposite sex; it was her consistent style.

She then reached out her hand and lightly shook hands with Zhang Jingdong, ”No need to be polite, this is part of my job.”

”Congratulations to the Host for successfully making contact with the target person, a reward of 20,000 yuan!”

Then possibly to show that this handshake was very casual, Qin Yu took the initiative to shake hands with Su Man as well.

However, Zhang Jingdong noticed this and his lips couldn’t help but reveal a playful smile.

Just then, as if by instinct, Qin Yu glanced at Zhang Jingdong and caught his mischievous smile.

For some reason, her usually aloof and beautiful face suddenly reddened significantly, a rare occurrence.

This made Zhang Jingdong’s smile even more pronounced!

At that, Qin Yu immediately glared at him.
