I Am Scouted by Real Madrid

Chapter 549: Chapter 30: 12-Yard Thunderbolt

Santiago Bernabeu Stadium

De Gea shivered involuntarily at Chen Zhong’s ”kind” smile.

Roberto Carlos’s heavy cannon is unparalleled in football.

De Gea originally thought his iron palms were strong enough, but after facing Chen Zhong’s cannon, he doubted them again.

He hadn’t experienced Carlos’s heavy cannon, but after feeling Chen Zhong’s shot, he finally understood why goalkeepers trying to block Chen Zhong’s cannon with their feet end up with a broken leg.

Because this kind of force, hitting a person, can truly be deadly!!!

Real Madrid’s current attack also shocked Diego Simeone on the sidelines, especially when Kaka came in from behind and scored a rebound shot, his heart suddenly skipped.

If it weren’t for the linesman raising the flag to signal offside first, this game would have practically been decided.

Diego Simeone is very aware of his strengths and weaknesses; he’s not a coach good at offensive training.

If his team scores first, his unbeaten probability exceeds half, but if the opponent scores first, his losing probability exceeds half.

Furthermore, his team’s stamina consumption during a match is extremely high.

If the game is within the regular 90 minutes, Diego Simeone’s team can still show a certain level, but if it goes into extra time, his team will ”change entirely.”

Sometimes Diego Simeone also feels silently distressed; if a match could have unlimited substitutions, he could surely become one of the world’s top coaches.

Mourinho showed some regret on his face on the sidelines, while also examining Atletico Madrid’s young goalkeeper De Gea.

Chen Zhong’s cannon shot is powerful in the team; even Casillas doesn’t dare face it head-on, sometimes losing control due to the force, letting it bounce directly into the net.

But De Gea apparently has trained specifically against such cannon shots; his recent positioning and hand form were very excellent.

Unfortunately, still fell short facing Chen Zhong’s shot.

”This young man.”

”Why mess with Chen?” Mourinho said with a smile, shaking his head, clearly not optimistic about De Gea’s situation in this match.

The game continued; Atletico Madrid strengthened their pressing in midfield. Every time a Real Madrid player received the ball, two to three people pressed.

Even unhesitatingly making tackles.

This made the game somewhat ugly and difficult to watch.

”Real Madrid’s attack.”

”Atletico Madrid’s defense is very tenacious.”

”I almost thought I was watching a Premier League match.”

”C. Ronaldo was tackled down to the ground.”

”But the main referee didn’t react.”

”Reyes with the ball!”

”Immediately knocked out by Chen Zhong.”

The commentary tone was subtle; such barbaric defense is very rare on La Liga’s field, directly elevating the defensive intensity at least two levels in this technical-flow league.

Atletico Madrid more like a Premier League team.

This surprised many fans recently still remembering the lazy Atletico Madrid.

They didn’t know how this miraculous coach Diego Simeone turned a group of meek lambs into fierce wolves.

Real Madrid barely passed the ball to Cristiano Ronaldo’s feet, but their vicious chopping tactic directly tackled the Portuguese to the ground.

And this match’s main referee is noticeably lenient.

This further intensified the match’s loss of control.

Even Chen Zhong started getting heavy-handed.

Reyes on the flank with the ball, this Spanish winger once played for Real Madrid, and even during Capello’s tenure, scored twice in a crucial championship match, contributing greatly to reclaiming the league title.

Many Real Madrid fans still remember Jose Antonio Reyes, even regard him as a hero.

Unfortunately, Reyes didn’t stay at Real Madrid; after the lease ended that season, he joined Atletico Madrid.

Experienced lows, highs, but everything is past now.

After gaining another four-year renewal, Reyes has become a key player for Atletico Madrid.

In this match, Atletico Madrid clearly focused their attack primarily on his side.

Chen Zhong and Reyes don’t have much friendship; he came aggressively from the side, directly using his body to knock Reyes out of the sideline, crashing him into the advertising board.

Then turned his head, glaring at Thiago.

It was Thiago who had just tackled Cristiano Ronaldo to the ground, and noticing this, Cristiano Ronaldo smirked flashing a little arrogant expression.

Seemed to say!

See!

My buddy!

Has my back!

Thiago noticed Chen Zhong’s gaze, but showed no sign of fear; this Portuguese veteran born in 1981, Thiago Cardoso Mendes, just instinctively looked towards Mourinho on the sidelines.

He was once a Mourinho-appointed defensive midfielder, later also personally sent away by Mourinho, who later admitted letting him go was a mistake, then brought in Essien to replace him.
