I Am Scouted by Real Madrid

Chapter 517: Chapter 14: Under Control

Real Madrid fans aren’t too concerned about this Champions League group stage match.

After all, the lineup had already been leaked by the media a day earlier, and fans quickly found Chen Zhong’s name. A Real Madrid with Chen Zhong is unbeatable.

They’re more interested in the recent big win by Canillas.

Never heard of this team?

If you haven’t, that’s reasonable!

Even the most dedicated Real Madrid fans might have never heard of Canillas, a local small team in Madrid.

Yet, this week, the team has gained widespread attention from Spanish media due to a big win.

The attention isn’t because of the match itself, but rather the ”identities” of the team’s players.

Now serving Florentino, Zidane, Real Madrid’s coach Mourinho, and the child of former Real Madrid star Ronaldo, all play for this team.

As soon as this news came out, many directly dubbed them the Crown Prince Team.

In this star-studded team, Mourinho’s son has appeared in an unexpected position: goalkeeper.

From his current performance, young Mourinho shows potential to become a Door God.

Mourinho’s son is named Jose Mourinho Jr.

Mourinho was unknown while playing, thus retiring early to teach, and now, after over a decade of coaching from the sidelines, he’s become the world’s highest-paid coach.

Now, his son appeared representing Canillas in the Alevin B Team (the lowest level youth team) last weekend, and this was his debut as the starting goalkeeper, making a sensational impression.

The match ended with Canillas winning 9-0 against their opponents.

Local media called Jose Jr.’s performance ”fantasy saves” at least three times, becoming the focal point.

However, Jose Jr. isn’t the only star in this team, because Zidane’s youngest son Theo Zidane and Ronaldo’s son Ronald Ronaldo also play for this team.

According to Spanish media, Canillas has long had a partnership agreement with Real Madrid, providing players for Real Madrid’s selection. So, the team is one of the youth training structures for Real Madrid, containing descendants of Real Madrid celebrities across various levels of youth teams.

For this reason, the team has been dubbed the ”sports royalty squad.” With the fierce performance of Canillas’ cohorts defeating others 9-0, it’s not surprising.

But not every star’s son possesses the innate talent of their parents.

Perhaps some of these star children entered the team through a bit of connection.

Yet, once they become team members, when everyone is a star child, they don’t receive special treatment.

Here, their parents’ glory has no relation, they still need to ”compete for positions.”

Take Ronaldo’s son, Ronald; he’s quite a talented player, but besides inheriting his father’s talent, he also inherited his father’s ”figure.”

For a football player, this is problematic. Ronald loves sweets and finds it hard to resist in daily life, making his on-field impact far less than his father Ronaldo’s back in the day.

If he can’t secure a starting position even in the Canillas youth team, his future isn’t promising.

It’s said that this Crown Prince, back then, repeatedly claimed his future ambitions to surpass Chen Zhong as the next team idol, even adhering to Chen Zhong’s training regime for a while, but soon gave up.

Meanwhile, in the goalkeeper position, the two superstar heirs Jose Jr. and Theo Zidane are fiercely competing for the starting spot.

Currently, Jose Jr. is the top goalkeeper for the ”Crown Prince Team” with great form, putting pressure on the backup goalkeeper, Zidane’s youngest son Theo.

Considering his second brother (Zidane’s second son) Luca has moved up to play for the Real Madrid Youth Team, while his elder brother Enzo has become a star in the youth team, even sparking a tug-of-war between France and Spain.

Young Theo is very eager to win the main goalkeeper position for Canillas.

In recent years, Real Madrid’s youth training has been exceptionally popular, evidenced by public opinion from the mystical Eastern land, with many parents hoping their child becomes the next Chen Zhong.

Having their kids valued by a team like Real Madrid and capturing the world’s top salary.

Real Madrid understands traction.

Or rather, the top management values these talented seedlings, particularly Ronaldo’s son, the gifted Ronald.

He directly arranged for them to become Chen Zhong’s ball boy.

This makes Zidane and Mourinho’s sons envious as they gaze relentlessly at that tall figure, fiercely jealous watching Ronald converse jovially with Chen Zhong, wishing they could swap places.

Chen Zhong exchanged a few simple words with Ronald; this star child bears too much pressure that doesn’t belong to him, football hasn’t brought him joy.

”You can chase your dreams.”

”Find what you truly love.” Chen Zhong patted Ronald on the shoulder and said, ”I believe your father will support you.”
