I Am Scouted by Real Madrid

The cheers drowned the entire stadium.

The fervent atmosphere made the Merengue fans abandon their restraint.

Today, they desperately needed to release the oppression within their hearts.

They held aloft items printed with the team crest, shouting at the top of their lungs, Hala Madrid!

Again and again!

And under the spotlight, wearing the number 10 jersey, Chen Zhong ran out from the player tunnel.

How young he looked!

Yet that young face was full of resolve.

He walked towards the platform step by step, and each step was accompanied by applause, cheers, and chants.

On the platform, Raul was holding the captain’s armband, waiting there for Chen Zhong, while Guti held a flag with the Real Madrid team crest, also waiting for him.

These two legends of the team, meritorious players.

They used their farewell ceremony to make their final contributions to their successors.

Today, right now!

You are about to be ”crowned king!”

All the lights shone on you, and all the fans in the stadium focused their attention on you, while countless others around the world watched this coronation ceremony of yours through various channels.

You watched Raul place the captain’s armband on you and took the Real Madrid team flag handed to you by Raul, as Florentino came forward to present the bright red five-starred red flag to you.

Half national flag, half team flag, you draped the two flags over your shoulders, and you watched as Florentino stepped to the microphone and said in a deep voice: ”The club has decided to renew the contract with Chen for six years, with an annual salary of 12 million euros.”

The stands fell into brief silence, but moments later, the cheers drowned out the silence.

They chanted your name, displaying their support for you in front of the cameras.

Only at this moment did those harboring darkness in their hearts suddenly realize that their words were insignificant, as you had long since won the support of the club’s fans.

”We will quickly complete all matters of the contract signing in the near future.”

”In the new season, we hope the new captain will lead our team to create new legends!”

Florentino’s speech once again made the fans in the stands cheer, and it was also the most effective rebuttal to external rumors and gossip, with the club’s management agreeing, the club’s supporters in agreement, and most players endorsing.

Why shouldn’t we give Chen Zhong a top salary?

Florentino ceded the microphone position to Chen Zhong, who, draped in the team flag and national flag, walked to the microphone. This was also the first time a Chinese in such a grand, top-level club attracted such great attention.

”At 13, I joined the Real Madrid youth training.”

”At 16, I entered the first team.”

”And now I am almost 18.”

The fans in the stands showed good-spirited laughter, some with a bit of nostalgia in their eyes.

Chen Zhong appeared at a special time, during the dismantling of Real Madrid’s Galaxy Battleship, as the stardust began to fade, in the team’s period of civilian transformation.

His first season was stunning, bringing surprises to Real Madrid fans, both on and off the pitch, it was so perfect.

In his debut season, Chen Zhong helped the team win the Spanish Super Cup, the La Liga title, appearing 28 times in the league, scoring 12 goals, with 13 assists, and in the Champions League he appeared 7 times, scoring 4 goals, with 3 assists. He appeared once in the Spanish Super Cup final, scoring a crucial goal.

The entire season, 36 appearances, 17 goals, 16 assists, with both goals and assists in double figures, shocked the whole football world, making countless fans sigh that today’s ”geniuses” are indeed emerging in endless waves.

Chen Zhong was also nominated that season for La Liga Best Rookie, FIFPro Best Young Player, and the Golden Boy Award, the young Ballon d’Or award.

But unfortunately, in the second season, the situation changed drastically, Chen Zhong went far to Milan City, Schuster before a match against Barcelona, openly said Real Madrid could not beat Barcelona, and Calderon stepped down due to a series of issues, plunging Real Madrid into turmoil.

In the league, they were even humiliated by Barcelona with a double defeat!

And at this time, in the distant Milan City, Chen Zhong once again shone with his brilliance, directly bringing Milan back to life, helping Milan win the Serie A title and UEFA Europa League title that season. He made 13 appearances in the league, scoring 7 goals, with 5 assists, and in the UEFA Europa League, he appeared 5 times, scoring 3 goals, with 2 assists.

This Chen Zhong, like a beam of light in dark times, illuminated the world of the Merengue fans, who had no expectations for Real Madrid’s current season.

At a time when Barcelona was unstoppable.

The only comfort for the Merengue fans was that the time of Chen Zhong’s return was getting closer and closer.

And when he returns, under the leadership of the new president, the team will surely regain its position.

Now, he is back!

Although there are many controversies from the outside, and although 12 million euros annual salary is somewhat high, but...

We are Real Madrid!

Besides, in that position, who else but him?

”In my country.”

”There was a person named Gan Luo who became a prime minister at 12.”

”There was a person named Xie Jin who could stand in court handling affairs at 14.”

”I am not a greedy person; my current annual salary is 2 million euros, but I’ve never been dissatisfied with it because being able to serve Real Madrid has always been the wish of mine and my friends.”
