New Ability Every Ten Days: Becoming a Vampire Made Me Too OP

The contents of the attribute panel had changed greatly. However, one thing had not changed: the huge pile of question marks.

Yu Xian shot Eternal Purity an irritated look. ”Auntie, why is all your key information still in question marks?”

She turned her clear eyes toward him, calmly countering with a question of her own. ”You possess the ability to pry into others, yet it never occurred to you that others might have the ability to block it?”

That was indeed a good question. If someone wielded a spear, then naturally, someone else could wield a shield. He could appraise others, but others could likewise defend against appraisal.

Yu Xian closed Eternal Purity’s attribute panel in frustration. Then, he used Appraisal on himself. This time, it finally succeeded. A light screen quickly unfolded, and his attributes were instantly listed out.

Perhaps because his strength had increased too quickly, Yu Xian had long since grown used to it rising sharply once every ten days. As a result, his attention was not on his rank.

He first looked at ”Vitality.” Then, information naturally appeared in his mind. Vitality referred to health points, somewhat similar to a health bar in a game. Of course, this was not an actual health bar, but a reflection of his body’s condition.

To deal with the Namo Race, he had used the Heaven-Mourning Sword to increase his strength greatly. Currently, he was actually still in a weakened state, and his attributes panel reflected that. His Vitality had a value of 1500 units, but because he was in a weakened state, only 500 units remained.

Next, he looked at ”Lifeforce.” His maximum life force was 800, which meant that when his Vitality decreased, as long as the amount did not exceed 800, he could instantly recover.

His self-healing ability had been improving all along. When he had fought Zhou Tai at school, it had taken him an entire night’s sleep to regrow a severed arm. But now, he estimated that a short nap would be enough for his arm to recover.

In addition, although his maximum life force was only 800, he was constantly being exposed to Little Dummy’s sunlight. Once those 800 points of life force were exhausted, his Light Feeder would quickly refill the consumed amount. So in reality, he would not run out of life force at all. Unless someone could kill him in a single move, anyone who fought a battle of attrition against him would definitely lose.

Yu Xian continued downward. Next was ”Power.” This referred to his overall strength and combat prowess. Because he was in a weakened state, his strength had been greatly reduced.

However, after Yu Xian stared at ”Power” for quite a while, he discovered that this attribute was constantly changing, fluctuating up and down. Just now, his Power had still been 0.02, but after a few seconds, it changed to 0.03. A little while later, it became 0.02 again. Clearly, a person’s combat prowess was not a fixed value. Instead, it rose and fell according to their current state.

This was not difficult to understand. When he was angry, his combat prowess would increase quite a lot. In addition, when he used Integrator - Black Blood Form, his strength could multiply several times. However, it meant that this attribute only had a reference value. If he completely put his trust in it, he could end up being caught off guard.

After all, his opponent could have a transformation ability or some other form, which could boost their combat power several times over. In that case, blindly trusting Power’s value would truly be no different from walking straight into a pit.

Yu Xian continued looking down. Beneath Power was Luck. This one was not hard to understand. It simply meant luck.

Fortune Reaching the Heavens. These four words showed that his current luck was extremely good.

Yu Xian glanced at Eternal Purity. His intuition told him that this had something to do with meeting her. Could this be the legendary encounter with a noble benefactor?

He continued looking downward. His lifespan had become Theoretical Lifespan, and it was even accurate down to the second.

Yu Xian nodded. That’s not bad.

Then, he skipped over his rank and looked at the so-called Universal Rank. As the name implied, universal meant that this ranking system was widely recognized and used.

In fact, it was similar to the world he came from. Although there were countless messy systems because of Forbidden Fruits, everyone still used the ten ranks of Insect, Ant, Bee, Sparrow, Serpent, Eagle, Wolf, Tiger, Dragon, and God to measure strength. Clearly, the myriad worlds had their own system, and it was completely different from the system used in his world.

He turned toward Eternal Purity. ”Auntie, how many levels are there in the Universal Rank?”

Eternal Purity answered. ”Earth, Heaven, Star, Void, Galaxy, Hegemon, and Cosmic. Above those are the Ethereal, Tribulation, and Emptiness. Above those are Almighty.”

Yu Xian frowned. ”What about Transcendent?”

”That is a legendary realm. Right now, countless figures in the Almighty rank are exploring how to become Transcendents, but none of them have any clue. Impermanence is currently only attempting as well. The result remains unknown.”

Yu Xian nodded. ”Then how far am I from Heaven rank right now?”

She answered, ”Once your Power reaches 0.1, that is Heaven rank.”

Yu Xian glanced at his Power value. He was only 0.04 points away from Heaven rank. It did not seem that far off.

Curious, he asked, ”Then roughly how much Power does a Star-rank possess?”

Eternal Purity patiently explained, ”The threshold for Heaven rank is 0.1, and its peak is 1. However, breaking through to Star-rank requires a fundamental evolution of one’s being, which is extremely difficult. But once someone succeeds, even the weakest Star-rank is at least a hundred times stronger than a peak Heaven-rank. As a result, their Power value will soar straight to 100.”

Yu Xian felt a little dizzy. Holy crap! Isn’t that gap way too huge?

A peak Heaven-rank was already an existence beyond his imagination, yet even the weakest Star-rank was a hundred times stronger than a peak Heaven-rank. The numbers had completely gone through the roof. If this were in a game, the person in charge of balancing the numbers would get cursed to death.

The problem was, Star-rank was actually only the third rank in the Universal Ranking system. Could it be that any expert above Star rank possessed the power to destroy planets, or even worlds, with a casual wave of the hand?

Yu Xian suddenly jolted in shock. Belatedly, he looked at Eternal Purity, gulped, and asked, ”Impermanence couldn’t be in the Almighty rank, could they? And if you and Eternal Bliss each possess only half of Impermanence’s strength, wouldn’t the two of you still be far stronger than someone who has just reached the Almighty rank?”

”There is no so-called peak of Almighty rank. As long as one cannot break through and become a Transcendent, one’s Power value can increase without limit. There is no end to it. Those who have stepped into the Almighty rank are, in essence, beings whose sheer scale and capability have reached an unimaginable level. Within certain domains, they already possess strength close to that of Transcendents.”

Yu Xian could not help asking, ”Then, Auntie, how much Power does someone need to step into the Almighty rank?”

”To step into the Almighty-rank, the minimum is ten million billion-billion-billion, roughly a hundred times that of a peak Emptiness-rank.”

Yu Xian’s mouth fell open. A long string of zeroes appeared in his mind. If expressed in numbers, it would be 10,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000. He lowered his head and looked at his 0.2 Power value, becoming rational again.

During this, Eternal Purity’s expression had not changed in the slightest. Yu Xian understood very clearly in his heart that this time, he had encountered not just a noble benefactor but also a big shot among big shots. This was absolutely a glittering golden super backer, definitely the strongest existence he had ever seen in his entire life!

Wait. Then what’s going on with the Extreme Dragon? Can there be some kind of misunderstanding?
