New Ability Every Ten Days: Becoming a Vampire Made Me Too OP

Just as Yu Xian had anticipated, Eternal Purity indeed did not get angry. She looked at him, still perfectly calm, and asked, ”What benefit do you want?”

Yu Xian sighed. ”How am I supposed to know what benefits you can give me?”

Eternal Purity thought for a moment. ”The most valuable thing I possess should be Impermanence’s knowledge, but their knowledge is not suitable for you.”

Yu Xian immediately grew displeased. ”Why isn’t it suitable for me?”

Although he did not know any specific details about Impermanence’s power, since they were already pursuing the state of Transcendence, they had to be incredibly powerful. After all, he could not even imagine what kind of existence a Transcendent truly was.

Eternal Purity answered, ”Impermanence combined many different systems and created their own cultivation method. It is called the Indivisible Yin-Yang Sea of Tribulations Scripture, and only those who possess both sexes at the same time can cultivate it.”

In other words, only intersex people could cultivate this scripture. Yu Xian was speechless. Both sexes? This thing really is not something ordinary people can cultivate.

For some inexplicable reason, he recalled the Pangu Transmutation. If he awakened that ability, it wouldn’t technically be impossible for him to become intersex. However, he belatedly snapped back to his senses and hurriedly threw that thought out of his head. Wait. What the hell am I thinking?

For one instant, he had actually felt that becoming intersex was not completely unacceptable. That was terrifying.

Still, he had to admit that he was genuinely curious about the Indivisible Yin-Yang Sea of Tribulations Scripture. It was precisely because of that curiosity that such a thought had appeared in his mind. His Super Brain would not lie. He knew his truest feelings and thoughts.

He stared at Eternal Purity, hesitating before finally forcing the words out. ”Why don’t you give me a simple breakdown? How exactly does one cultivate the Indivisible Yin-Yang Sea of Tribulations Scripture and what makes it so unique?”

Eternal Purity patiently explained, ”The Indivisible Yin-Yang Sea of Tribulations Scripture is all-encompassing, containing hundreds of individual cultivation methods. If we are talking strictly about the core cultivation methods, one must first cultivate the Ten Suns Bestriding the Sky Scripture and the Nine Nether Moon-Eroding Divine Art to bolster the Primordial Yang and Primordial Yin within your body. After that, one must bind them together to form Ultimate True Essence within the dantian.

”Then, one must learn the Pure Yang Boundless Art and cultivate pure yang spiritual power. One must also learn the True Darkness Scripture and cultivate dark demonic energy. The two are mixed into the Ultimate True Essence and further refined.

”Next, one must master alchemy and pill refining. Using the dantian as a furnace, countless yin- and yang-attributed materials gathered from myriad worlds, along with the Ultimate True Essence, pure yang spiritual power, and dark demonic energy, must be refined within the dantian to forge the Indivisible Dao Fruit.

”Finally, with the Indivisible Dao Fruit as the core and Buddhist cultivation methods as support, one must experience ninety-nine million nine hundred and ninety thousand kinds of tribulations across different worlds and absorb their tribulation qi. In the end, this forms the divine power of the Indivisible Sea of Tribulation, which can reverse all opposing things and concepts, such as front and back, yin and yang, good and bad, fortune and disaster, life and death.”

Only males possessed Primordial Yang, and only females possessed Primordial Yin. This was innate primordial qi that was born while a person was still inside their mother’s womb. Because Impermanence was born intersex, they possessed both Primordial Yang and Primordial Yin.

Even though Yu Xian possessed Primordial Yang and could use the Pangu Transmutation to become intersex, he had not been born intersex. As such, Primordial Yin would not simply appear out of nowhere inside his body. He would possess only Primordial Yang.

Yu Xian suddenly thought of something. ”In other words, they can turn me from living to dead with just a glance?”

Eternal Purity nodded. ”With no effort at all.”

He rubbed his chin. ”Can they turn me from male to female?”

Eternal Purity nodded. ”With ease.”

Yu Xian continued, ”Can they turn my endless good luck into endless misfortune?”

Eternal Purity nodded again. ”As easy as turning over one’s hand.”

Yu Xian’s heart stirred. ”Can you teach me the Ten Suns Bestriding the Sky Scripture?”

Although the Ten Suns Bestriding the Sky Scripture was far inferior to the Indivisible Yin-Yang Sea of Tribulation Scripture, as the first step in Impermanence’s cultivation, it definitely had something unique about it.

Eternal Purity nodded. ”I can teach you, but you will not be able to learn it.”

Yu Xian stared at her, suspicion written all over his face. ”Huh? Why do I feel like you’re trying to fool me?”

Eternal Purity was not angry. ”You’re a human who turned into a vampire. The Primordial Yang within your body dispersed during your transformation. You have no Primordial Yang, so how can you cultivate the Ten Suns Bestriding the Sky Scripture?”

The True Scripture of Ten Suns Bestriding the Sky was also a cultivation method strictly for virgins. Aside from vampires, even old men who had girlfriends or were already married could not cultivate it, because their Primordial Yang was already long gone.

By the same logic, women who had boyfriends or were already married also could not cultivate the Nine Nether Moon-Eroding Divine Art, because they no longer had their Primordial Yin.

Yu Xian could not retort, and he was starting to feel a little annoyed. He stared at Eternal Purity in silence for a long time before finally saying, ”So... you can’t give me any benefits at all, yet you still want me to shoulder a massive risk with you?”

Eternal Purity smiled. ”In that case, how about this?”

She extended her hand toward Yu Xian and placed her palm squarely against the spatial bubble. Ripples spread across the bubble. Then, without damaging the bubble at all, her hand passed into its interior and pressed right against Yu Xian’s forehead.

Even though Yu Xian clearly saw her reaching out, for some reason, he did not have the slightest thought of dodging. By the time he realized what she had done, it was already too late.

He quickly looked at her. ”What are you trying to do?”

Eternal Purity smiled. ”The appraisal ability you used earlier is quite interesting. It resembles both the Heaven-Glimpsing Divination Art and the Origin-Perceiving Art. It also carries a hint of the Daoist Circular Light Art. For an ability pieced together in such a haphazard manner, yet still capable of functioning, it must have originated from a Forbidden Fruit. Shall I optimize it for you?”

Yu Xian let out a sigh of relief. ”You mean Appraisal?”

Eternal Purity nodded. ”So, it is called Appraisal. A rather ordinary name.”

Yu Xian immediately pressed further. ”There’s a problem with Appraisal?”

Eternal Purity nodded. ”This ability was pieced together at random. Have you ever thought about where the source of information comes from?”

Yu Xian frowned. ”Source of information?”

He really had never thought about that question. In fact, it was not just him. Most likely, no one in Qilin had ever considered such a question.

Since it was an appraisal ability, most people naturally assumed that the information came from the target itself. However, based on Eternal Purity’s words, that assumption was clearly wrong.

Eternal Purity smiled. ”The source of information for your Appraisal is rather messy. A portion comes from the one being appraised, another comes from your knowledge, another from the world itself, and the last portion from the root of the concept itself. In addition, this ability is highly invasive. Any slightly stronger being would be able to sense easily that you are prying into them.”

Her palm emitted a faint golden light. Countless particles, so tiny they were almost imperceptible, continuously entered Yu Xian’s brain.

She continued, ”I have sorted out the structure of your ability, filled in the missing parts, and added a concealment trait to it. This way, your target will no longer easily notice your prying.”

About five minutes later, she withdrew her hand.

Yu Xian felt nothing had changed. He looked at Eternal Purity. ”It’s done?”

Eternal Purity chuckled. ”Why not try it yourself?”

Yu Xian immediately used Appraisal on her without holding back. A golden screen that only he could see appeared before him, and lines of text quickly emerged one after another.
