I Married the President

Chapter 687: Chapter 687: Piss Off Claire Sinclair, You Are the Future Mrs. Quincy

”I was just using an analogy! I just think Fifth Lord Rhodes gave up so much for that fool from the Tanner Family. And what does that fool do? Eat, sleep, and breathe. A person like that is just wasting air!”

”Sigh... Why are all the good men taken? How come I’ve never met a guy that great...”

「Elsewhere.」

Ariel O’Malley was gathered with a few of her girlfriends, talking and laughing, radiating an aura of youthful vitality.

The topic of conversation shifted, and one of her friends suddenly brought it up. ”Ariel, how come Young Master Quincy isn’t here yet? I only came to this wedding because I wanted to see him in person.”

”Ariel, you should call and hurry him along. After all, you two are dating now. It wouldn’t be out of line to call him, right?”

Ariel O’Malley gave an awkward laugh. ”It’s not like that. Young Master Quincy and I can’t even be considered friends, and besides, I don’t have his number.”

”Then why is everyone online saying you two are already dating?”

Ariel O’Malley forced a laugh. ”That’s just a rumor people are spreading online.”

”So what? If you talk about it enough, it might just come true!”

”Exactly! Ariel, I think you and Young Master Quincy look so compatible whenever you’re pictured together. Now that Young Master Quincy has broken up with... her, you have to seize this chance and snatch him for yourself!”

”That’s right! That’ll piss Claire Sinclair right off. You’re the future Mrs. Quincy!”

Ariel O’Malley had no desire to continue chatting with these sycophants, but she endured it, saying with a hint of awkwardness, ”Please, don’t say things like that. It’s impossible between me and Young Master Quincy.”

”You’re just too timid. If it were me, I’d be the first one to pounce on him!”

Just as their discussion was heating up, a petite figure appeared at the hotel entrance. The white, poofy skirt she wore perfectly concealed the slight swell of her belly, giving her an adorable air. At the same time, she exuded a commanding and righteous presence, as if an empress had graced them with her arrival, and her beauty was so stunning that no one would dare to profane it.

”What’s she doing here?” someone questioned.

”I can’t believe the Rhodes Family managed to invite even Claire Sinclair. They must have a lot of pull.”

”Wow, Claire Sinclair is so beautiful! That dress is adorable, too. I want a dress just like it!”

”Claire Sinclair is still the same as ever. Her presence is so powerful.”

...

Ariel O’Malley watched from afar as this woman, who seemed to bring her own theme music, made her entrance. Her eyes narrowed slightly, a fleeting spark of jealousy flashing within them.

Honestly, she was very envious of Claire Sinclair.

’This woman held in her hands what every woman under the sun desired: Adrian Quincy and the power at his command.’

’Countless women would kill just to get close to Adrian Quincy, yet this woman had effortlessly captured his heart. What was so special about her?’

For a moment, Ariel O’Malley almost lost control and marched over to confront Claire Sinclair, but her sense of reason told her she had to stay calm.

’She had an important mission to accomplish at this wedding. She couldn’t have a run-in with this woman yet.’

Claire Sinclair paused, her gaze sweeping across the room as she looked for a familiar face.

As she scanned the area, a hotel attendant came up to her. ”Miss Sinclair, the young master has requested your presence.”

”The young master?” For a moment, Claire Sinclair couldn’t place who the attendant was talking about.

The attendant replied, ”Young Master Theo Rhodes.”

”Oh. Where is he?”

”Please follow me, Miss Sinclair.”

The attendant led Claire Sinclair into a luxurious private room.

Theo Rhodes was sitting alone at a table, engrossed in a game on his phone.

Claire Sinclair walked over, pulled out a chair, and sat down. ”Theo, what did you call me here for?”
