Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

Old Master Fu was at home now. Besides Uncle Fu, who had been taking care of Old Master Fu, there was also Li Jinnian, who had been back for two days.

When Mrs. Qin came to visit, Old Master Fu could tell that she had something to say to him alone. He sent Li Jinnian, who only came back once every two years, to the kitchen to help Uncle Fu. He was now alone with Mrs. Qin in the tea room.

He had always treated the younger generations of the Qin family as his own and was willing to step in to solve any problems. But the Qin family was kind and never bothered Old Master Fu.

It was obvious that Mrs. Qin had something to say when she came to visit today. Old Master Fu took it seriously.

When he was at home, he would often visit the Qin family, who were the closest to him. In addition, the two families had been friends for decades. The old men of the two families didn’t treat each other as outsiders. Although they weren’t blood-related, they were like family.

Before Ye Jian returned to the Fu family, the two brothers of the Qin family took turns taking care of Old Master Fu. Every time they returned to Dan Gui Garden to visit the two elders of the Qin family, they would definitely come to visit Old Master Fu.

Although there was someone in the first generation of the Qin family who was unfilial, overall, he was alright. He wouldn’t commit murder or arson. He only liked to offend women. Even the illegitimate son of the Qin family, Qin Yi, was respectful to Old Master Fu and didn’t dare to cause trouble.

Hence, Old Master Fu treated the descendants of the Qin family as his grandchildren.

Especially Qin Xiu. He had watched him grow up since he was young. Even though Mrs. Qin was Qin Xiu’s mother, Old Master Fu felt uncomfortable to hear her scold Qin Xiu.

On the other hand, Old Madam Qin and Old Master Qin were already used to it. They didn’t want to argue with their daughter-in-law and didn’t want to interfere with their grandchildren’s matters anymore.

Everyone had their own paths in life. The two of them didn’t have much time left to worry about others. They would let their children and grandchildren settle their own matters.

As for their daughter-in-law, they would just let her vent for a while. If not, she would feel uncomfortable.

Old Madam Qin and Old Master Qin had stopped caring about their children and grandchildren. Mrs. Qin didn’t manage to get the two elders to persuade Qin Xiu even after visiting them in Dan Gui Garden a few times, so she came to beg Old Master Fu.

Old Master Fu was not completely free. He was teaching aviation at a university in the capital city. He was specially hired for this specialization. He didn’t have to go over every day. He had two major lessons a week teaching graduate students.

There were only two classes every week, but the old man was passionate about it. He did his best to impart everything he learned to his students. In addition, his lectures were funny and humorous. He was able to make the extremely awkward professional knowledge interesting. In the words of the students, it was no longer cold knowledge. It was a garden and a mountain of treasures. It made people want to explore it.

The old man, who had a second career, was at home today. It just so happened that Mrs. Qin came to visit.

Mrs. Qin had looked for Old Master Fu several times but could never manage to catch him. Today, she was overjoyed. After sitting down for less than five minutes, she started talking about Qin Xiu.

”Old Master, when Xiu comes back later, I hope you can persuade him not to be too stubborn. He’s 30 years old. He should start a family. However, Xiu doesn’t want me to interfere in this matter at all. As a mother, I feel bad when I see my son alone.

”You watched Xiu grow up. When he was young, he always went to your house whenever he made any mistakes. Only you can persuade him and let him realize what mistake he’s made.”

This time, Mrs. Qin treated Old Master Fu as her savior. She choked up and revealed the bitterness in her heart. She only hoped that Old Master Fu could help her.
