Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

Of course, Ye Jian couldn’t afford it. She had carried out many missions, big and small. She knew the importance of time. She would always consider the overall situation. Even if there was a reason for her delay this time, she couldn’t explain it.

Also…

She vaguely felt that the squad leader was only criticizing her… She seemed to have other intentions.

”Report, Squad Leader, I have something to say!” Guo Cui, whose face was slightly pale, spoke loudly. The squad leader’s words were all directed at Ye Jian. Although she usually rejected Ye Jian because she was in the army, it wasn’t Ye Jian’s fault today.

The squad leader, who had a cold expression on her face, finally looked at Guo Cui. She paused for a moment before saying in a low voice, ”Speak!”

Just now, when Ye Jian asked Guo Cui to stand properly, the squad leader already knew what was going on.

Just now, she criticized the female soldier who landed second, Liu Meiyue. Now, she criticized herself in his heart and did a deep reflection.

Since Ye Jian was able to join the air force, she must have her own reasons. As the squad leader, it was her negligence that Ye Jian was being singled out.

As long as Ye Jian was in the air force and was a member of her class, she had to abandon her personal bias and take care of everyone in her class.

As the squad leader, no matter how unhappy she was with Ye Jian, she couldn’t take the lead to reject Ye Jian. She would take care of what needed to be taken care of. Whether Ye Jian could be accepted by her comrades depended on Ye Jian’s ability.

”Squad Leader, Ye Jian was late just now because she wanted to help me! This time, she was late because of me. It has nothing to do with her. I implicated her and made her late. Please punish me!”

Guo Cui spoke softly at first, but toward the end, her voice got louder. ”When I landed, I slipped into a crack in the rock and my foot got stuck. When Ye Jian, who was packing her parachute, saw me in that situation, she immediately ran over to help me move the rock away.

”It wouldn’t have taken so long to move the rock, right? It’s been four minutes.” A female soldier in the team spoke softly. It was loud enough for all the female soldiers to hear her.

That was right. Would it take a few minutes to move a rock?

When Guo Cui heard that, she shouted, ”I made a mistake in choosing the landing point. The rock looks small, but most of it was buried underground. Ye Jian used her knife to dig out most of the rock before moving it away.”

With Guo Cui’s explanation, the female soldiers didn’t say anything.

On the highlands, many rocks looked like small ones, but most of them were buried deep in the ground. It was impossible to tell how big they were.

Guo Cui continued, ”Squad Leader, there was no problem with Ye Jian’s descent this time. It’s because of me that she’s late. She had to use her knife to dig out the rock. I urged her to ignore me and gather quickly. If not, she’d be dragged down. Ye Jian said that I was her comrade, and on the battlefield, there are no cowards who only care about their lives and not their comrades’ lives. She said she was willing to be punished alongside me.

”Ye Jian also said that real comrades will never leave each other’s side! Squad Leader, Ye Jian was implicated because of my unprofessionalism. If you want to punish someone, please punish me alone! I will accept any form of punishment!”

After entering the military unit for a month, a female soldier finally spoke up for Ye Jian. Although there was a reason for it, this was at least a good sign, right?

Captain Lei, who was in the ground team, couldn’t help but laugh when he knew the details.

This female soldier from the military unit was not bad. It had been a month. The moment she made a move, people would change their opinion of her.

”Real comrades will never leave each other’s side…” Captain Lei repeated it carefully, and the smile on his face deepened.
