Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

The female soldier who landed third didn’t hear the first part clearly. She only heard the word ’understood’. She quickly put away her parachute and asked the female soldier who landed second, ”What did you talk to the squad leader about?”

”It’s…” The female soldier opened her mouth and swallowed the rest of her words. Her expression was a little dark as she replied calmly, ”It’s nothing. We just talked about how we should walk out of here later.”

The female soldier who landed third didn’t believe her. She looked at the female soldier suspiciously and replied with a dry hum. Then, she took the time to keep her parachute.

Because they were all jumping into the highlands for the first time, Captain Lei did not go to the parachute point at an altitude of more than 4,000 meters but chose the lowest point.

Although they were at a high altitude and their vision was wide, they were surrounded by rocks of all sizes. In front of them, there was a river that was about five meters wide. The river was bone-chilling. It was formed by snow water.

Soon, several female soldiers landed successfully. The correspondent reported the situation to the ground team.

”Has Ye Jian completed the landing?” The instructor’s cold voice entered the female soldiers’ ears. ”Please confirm if Ye Jian has completed the landing immediately.”

”Yes!” After the communications female soldier replied, she immediately ran to the squad leader. ”Squad Leader, the instructor of the ground team wants us to confirm if Ye Jian has landed!”

13 people had already gathered. The squad leader was now clearing the crowd. When she heard that, the squad leader, who thought that something had happened, changed her expression slightly. Her vocal cords tensed up. ”Did anyone see Ye Jian? Did anyone see Ye Jian?”

”Report, no!”

”Report, no!”

”Report, besides Ye Jian, Guo Cui, who jumped eleventh, isn’t here either!”

The two of them didn’t reach the gathering point. Moreover, the two of them had not jumped sequentially. The squad leader’s facial expression was a little anxious now. ”Quick, split up and look for the two of them!”

They parachuted in order and didn’t reach the gathering point immediately. The squad leader was very worried that there was a ’special situation’ in the air when she wasn’t paying attention. For example, their parachutes were entangled with each other or their ropes were stuck… Once there was a ’special situation’ in the air and it wasn’t dealt with in time, the two of them would fall from the sky. Their survival rate would be almost zero.

These female airborne soldiers had opinions about Ye Jian, who was in the army. They excluded her secretly and targeted her openly. When they heard that Ye Jian had not arrived yet, everyone had only one thought in their minds—’We knew it!’

Just as they were preparing to split up and search, a clear and cold voice came from behind the female soldiers. ”Report, Ye Jian has landed successfully.”

”Report, Guo Cui has landed successfully.”

Hearing this, the female soldiers didn’t turn around immediately. They were in formation and needed an order to move.

This was a rule that had to be observed at all times.

”Everyone, turn back!” The squad leader gave the order. The 12 female soldiers who had completed their formation moved in unison. They turned back at the same time with a sonorous force. Everyone completed their actions at the same time. They were as orderly as one person.

When they turned around, they saw the two people who were the last to arrive. Everyone was anxious as they held each other’s hands. It was obvious that something had happened.

The expressions of the 13 female soldiers, including the squad leader, changed. In the end, all of them showed expressions that seemed to say, ’As expected, this won’t work out.’
