Checking in for 100,000 Years

Chapter 980: Chapter 980: The Duel of Yinfuti

Although she had been mentally prepared, facing the overwhelming voices, the Fallen Leaf Sacred Woman still felt the pressure.

”Ye Chen...”

The Fallen Leaf Sacred Woman sent a transmission, her tone slightly uneasy.

”Don’t worry, I’ll handle them.”

Ye Yun responded.

Hearing this, the Fallen Leaf Sacred Woman felt slightly reassured.

Ye Yun turned slightly, looking at the Oracle Buddha Ancestor on the gigantic Nine-leaf Buddha Lotus.

”Oracle Buddha Ancestor, do you not believe I am Yinfuti?”

Ye Yun asked with a smile.

”Anyone who believes that is a fool!”

A Divine King Realm expert from the Jade Buddha Sect sneered.

”There is truth in those words.”

The Oracle Buddha Ancestor smiled slightly, his gaze landing on Ye Yun.

”You’re just someone from the Divine Monarch Realm. Where did you pop up from? Are you being used by the Holy Buddha Sect? What benefits have they promised you?”

The Oracle Buddha Ancestor asked with a laugh.

”You’re mistaken. I am the Dao companion of the Fallen Leaf Sacred Woman and a genuine Yinfuti. I have been enlightened by the Buddhist Law of the Holy Buddha Sect and can be considered one of the Buddhist Gate...”

Ye Yun spoke unhurriedly, pointing at the young man in cloth robes opposite him, and said with a smile, ”Why don’t I compete with him in Buddhist Law? If I win, then there will be no need to prove my identity, how about that?”

Though his words were soft, to everyone’s ears, they were like claps of thunder.

A Divine Monarch Realm cultivator dared to overestimate himself by challenging a Divine King Realm young man from the Jade Buddha Sect?

Who gave him the courage?

All the experts showed mocking expressions.

In their eyes, this Divine Monarch Realm cultivator was like a mantis trying to stop a cart, overestimating his capabilities.

”Ha ha...”

The Oracle Buddha Ancestor did not speak, merely smiled without showing any emotions.

At this moment.

He did not need to express any opinions.

”You want to compete with me in Buddhist Law?”

The young man in cloth robes in the void, previously as calm as still water, had his expression slightly changed, looking curiously at Ye Yun.

”Is it not allowed?”

Ye Yun smiled.

His gaze softly landed on the young man in cloth robes.

But at this moment.

The young man in cloth robes felt as if he was utterly exposed.

”This person seems to have some weight...”

The young man in cloth robes thought silently.

He took a deep breath, looked Ye Yun up and down, maintained his composed demeanor, and said faintly, ”I am the second Buddha Child of the Jade Buddha Sect, with a Divine King Realm cultivation base. Competing with me is like an egg hitting a stone, isn’t it?”

”Buddhist Law is not about the realm.”

Ye Yun gently waved his hand, his pupils shrank, and his gaze was sharp as a knife shooting over, asking with a smile, ”I just ask if you dare or not?”

”Why wouldn’t I dare?”

The young man in cloth robes also found it amusing and said loudly, ”I accept your challenge.”

”Good!”

Ye Yun revealed a mysterious smile.

Then.

He looked at the Oracle Buddha Ancestor again and said calmly, ”My Buddhist Law is quite powerful. Once I make a move, it will be hard to control and extremely serious consequences might occur. Oracle Buddha Ancestor, are you sure the Jade Buddha Sect is prepared for this?”

”What nonsense are you spouting?”

The Oracle Buddha Ancestor froze slightly, feeling that this Divine Monarch Realm young monk was speaking in riddles, deliberately mystifying things.

A Divine King Realm expert next to the Oracle Buddha Ancestor couldn’t hold back, folded his arms, looked towards the Fallen Leaf Sacred Woman, and questioned, ”Saintess, are you sure this guy is not mentally unstable?”

”What nonsense are you spouting?”

The Fallen Leaf Sacred Woman was furious, repeating the words the Oracle Buddha Ancestor had just said back at him.

”Enough!”

The Oracle Buddha Ancestor raised his hand to stop the Divine King Realm expert.

He looked at Ye Yun and said solemnly, ”Go ahead and make your move, whatever happens, the Jade Buddha Sect will accept it!”

”That’s good!”

Ye Yun smiled easily, then looked at the Fallen Leaf Sacred Woman with a special meaning in his eyes.

The Fallen Leaf Sacred Woman understood and smiled slightly.

Ye Yun turned around to face the young man in cloth robes.

At this moment, the second profound meaning of the Mahamudra Sutra was suddenly activated.

An enigmatic Buddha Intent emanated from him.

Under Ye Yun’s deliberate control, the effect of the Buddhist Law was confined to a smaller space.

The young man in cloth robes was within this space.

”After being suppressed for so long, haven’t you thought about rebirth?”

Ye Yun spoke.

His voice seemed to carry some strange magical power, every word exuding supreme Buddha Intent.

The young man in cloth robes had a dazed look.

At this moment, his spirit wavered.

”What is going on?”

The young man in cloth robes shuddered slightly, his eyes gaining clarity once more.

Whoosh!

At this moment, the silver needles within him quivered in unison, releasing vast Buddha light, shining through.

The resplendent Buddha light made him look like he was standing within a small sun, dazzlingly radiant.

”Strange, a mere Divine Monarch Realm cultivator can actually push the Buddha Child to this extent!”

The Oracle Buddha Ancestor was slightly alarmed.

Even with his profound understanding of Buddhist Law, he couldn’t see any mystery.

Among those present.

The only one who saw through the mystery was the Dragon Tree Buddha.

The Dragon Tree Buddha’s eyes widened in disbelief at Ye Yun.

”Limitless Buddhist Law? The second profound meaning of the Mahamudra Sutra! How could he know?”

”Could it be, he is the second Purple Buddha?”

”But that doesn’t make sense, the second profound meaning of the Mahamudra Sutra, even I only received it after ascending to the Infinite Buddha Land and being personally taught by the World Honoured One...”

”This guy was just a native cultivator of this world, how could he have obtained the second profound meaning in advance?”

”What is going on here?”

”...”

The Dragon Tree Buddha’s heart was in turmoil at this moment.

Even after cultivating for millennia, with an unwavering Buddha mind, his heart lake was now stirred up by great waves.

The Dragon Tree Buddha simply couldn’t understand.

How the second Purple Buddha of the Divine Land learned the second profound meaning of the Mahamudra Sutra.

And Ye Yun had not expected.

That beside him stood the Dragon Tree Buddha who descended from the far-off Infinite Buddha Land to the Divine Land.

This person, much like Wu De before him, had entered the Divine Land by some means to find him personally.

Ye Yun looked calmly at the young man in cloth robes and said, ”Stop resisting, your Buddhist Law is limited and no match for me...”

This statement also carried the boundless and supreme Buddha Intent.

Buddha Intent surged like a world-ending flood, engulfing the young man in cloth robes in an instant.

The young man in cloth robes once again wore a dazed expression.

”Hey, what is this sorcery? To confuse our Jade Buddha Sect’s Buddha Child?”

The Oracle Buddha Ancestor saw the situation was different and roared in anger.

”It’s just the boundless Buddhist Law!”

Ye Yun turned his back to the Oracle Buddha Ancestor, his smile cold.

He suddenly waved his hand.

A powerful force instantly descended upon the young man in cloth robes.

Buzz buzz...

The silver needles within the young man in cloth robes, finer than cow hair, all loosened at that moment, vibrating together as if they were about to burst forth.

Seeing the young man’s condition deteriorating, the Oracle Buddha Ancestor looked sternly at the Fallen Leaf Sacred Woman and shouted, ”This is sorcery! Fallen Leaf Sacred Woman, quickly make him stop, or do not blame this Sect Master for being merciless towards your Jade Buddha Sect members!”

The Fallen Leaf Sacred Woman shook her head.

She had no right to interfere in anything Ye Chen did.

Buzz!

A sound like countless bees buzzing filled the air.

In the void, the Buddha light on the young man in cloth robes blazed intensely, engulfing his entire body.

”What is happening?”

Seeing this terrifying scene, all the experts squinted their eyes, showing expressions of terror on their faces.
