Checking in for 100,000 Years

Chapter 978: Chapter 978: Root Essence of Buddha Flame

”Huh, that’s strange. How does this young man also have the aura of Infinite Buddha Light?”

Ye Yun was slightly taken aback, pondering inwardly.

This aura of Infinite Buddha Light was extremely faint, almost imperceptible.

It was precisely because Ye Yun had cultivated the Mahamudra Sutra; thus his own Buddha Light sensed a mysterious connection with the trace Buddha Light within the young man in plain clothes.

Only then could he notice this point.

From the corner of his eye, Ye Yun noticed the Buddha Flame Old Ancestor gazing excitedly at the young man on a Nine-leaf Buddha Lotus in the distance.

Ye Yun was thoughtful.

”Is this your true form?”

Ye Yun sent a message through transmission, reaching the ears of Buddha Flame Old Ancestor.

”Yes, Buddha Lord, this is my true form!

It’s incredible!

My true form... It turns out I’ve been in the Jade Buddha Sect, under their tutelage for millions of years!”

Buddha Flame Old Ancestor, flushed with excitement, couldn’t suppress his inner joy and quickly sent a message back to Ye Yun.

”How did your true form become Yinfuti?”

Ye Yun’s heart stirred, and he asked.

”I don’t know either, who knows what’s happening?”

Buddha Flame Old Ancestor replied helplessly.

”Don’t be anxious; this place is full of experts; you mustn’t be rash...”

Ye Yun advised.

He was also worried that the emotions of Buddha Flame Old Ancestor might get too intense, making things complicated.

”Alright, Buddha Lord.”

Buddha Flame Old Ancestor took a deep breath, trying to calm himself.

Ye Yun shifted his gaze back to the young man in plain clothes.

This young man was without a doubt Buddha Flame Root’s true form.

However, when this young man emerged from the lake, he scanned the scene and surprisingly didn’t notice his avatar.

It seemed all connections had been severed.

What’s going on?

Has practicing Buddhist law led to forgetting kin?

Ye Yun was puzzled, suddenly his pupils contracted, deep in his eyes countless tiny star-like Purple Runes rapidly changed.

He began observing this young man in plain clothes.

After a few seconds.

Ye Yun withdrew his gaze, though his expression turned slightly strange.

This young man in plain clothes was actually bound by two layers of forces.

The outer layer of force consisted of countless fine silver needles like ox hairs.

These silver needles, each filled with massive Buddha Light, covered every part of the young man’s body.

His body was forcibly transformed into a Buddha’s body brimming with vast Buddha Light.

The innermost layer of force restrained the true form of this young man.

This force was highly powerful; probably no one present realized this young man was not human but a supreme great monster.

”Interesting...”

Ye Yun’s eyes twinkled, and his curiosity was piqued.

This journey to the Land of Thousands of Buddhas promised immense gains.

”Oracle Buddha Ancestor, how can you be certain he is the legendary Yinfuti?”

On a Nine-leaf Buddha Lotus.

A God King Expert expressed doubt.

Everyone else turned their gaze to the Oracle Buddha Ancestor.

This was the question in everyone’s mind.

Who could prove that this young man brimming with intense Buddha aura was the legendary Yinfuti?

”Haha, I understand everyone has such doubts, since time has passed, and it’s been so many years, it’s hard to believe...”

Oracle Buddha Ancestor, unhurriedly, retrieved a gold scroll from his large sleeve.

This gold scroll was ancient yet emitting a unique aura.

Oracle Buddha Ancestor gently unfurled the scroll, instantly a light shot skyward, forming unique words and patterns in mid-air.

”Here is one named Yinfuti, entrusted to Jade Buddha Sect for tutelage.”

The endorsement was Eternal Divine Hall.

Upon seeing these words and that ancient gold scroll, everyone’s expression changed.

It turned out to be an oracle issued by Eternal Divine Hall.

With this oracle, naturally, no one would question the origin of this Yinfuti.

”Goodness! Eternal Divine Hall is too biased; finding a Yinfuti and entrusting it to Jade Buddha Sect instead of giving it to our Holy Buddha Sect!”

Fallen Leaf Sacred Woman’s expression changed, expressing her discontent.

Ye Yun asked in a low voice: ”Is Jade Buddha Sect closely related to Eternal Divine Hall?”

”I’m not sure either, theoretically, Eternal Divine Hall is above all, and shouldn’t be associated with Jade Buddha Sect. But this event is too ancient, no one knows the relationship between these two powers millions of years ago...”

Fallen Leaf Sacred Woman pondered, trying to explain.

”Millions of years ago, was your Holy Buddha Sect ranked similarly?”

Ye Yun inquired.

”Back then, Jade Buddha Sect seemed stronger than us...”

Fallen Leaf Sacred Woman thought for a moment, then spoke.

”That’s it then, Eternal Divine Hall discovered a Yinfuti and entrusted it to Jade Buddha Sect for tutelage, which it’s normal your Holy Buddha Sect didn’t get this opportunity!”

Ye Yun remarked with a smile.

”Perhaps, regardless, it’s a fait accompli now, pointless to say anything more; now we can only rely on you, Ye Chen...”

Fallen Leaf Sacred Woman, full of hope, looked toward Ye Yun.

This was the hope of the Holy Buddha Sect.

Yinfuti against Yinfuti, using one’s way to overcome the other — this gave Fallen Leaf Sacred Woman a boost of confidence.

After all, Ye Yun, this Yinfuti, had already become a Purple Buddha.

Under Dragon Tree Buddha, the Divine Land’s second Purple Buddha.

Then.

A God King Expert clasped his hands together, chanting loudly, ”Congratulations to Jade Buddha Sect for successfully tutoring Yinfuti!”

Such words.

Immediately resonated with all the powerful figures on the lake.

This is indeed the legendary Yinfuti, embodying all five poisons, known for being unyielding, reputedly untutorable.

Yet, this Yinfuti was successfully tutored by Jade Buddha Sect.

Could the Buddhist Law of Jade Buddha Sect be so strong?

Everyone felt admiration.

”Congratulations to Jade Buddha Sect for tutoring Yinfuti...”

”Congratulations to Jade Buddha Sect...”

”Congratulations...”

Waves of congratulatory voices surged over like a tidal wave.

All the disciples of Jade Buddha Sect raised their heads, their faces glowing with pride.

Once the fervent congratulations subsided.

Oracle Buddha Ancestor surveyed the surroundings, smiling slightly, calmly said, ”Fellow Daoists, our Jade Buddha Sect’s Buddhist Law is unmatched, successfully tutoring Yinfuti, deservedly claiming first in the Land of Thousands of Buddhas; does anyone have objections?”

”No objections!”

Original Buddha Child exclaimed loudly.

Jade Buddha Sect was already stronger than his Supreme Buddha Sect, so he was pleased to see Jade Buddha Sect overpower the Holy Buddha Sect.

Original Buddha Child’s words resonated with everyone.

”Jade Buddha Sect’s Buddhist Law is the first!”

Countless people shouted, the noise tidal, surging like waves.

”Wait!”

Fallen Leaf Sacred Woman suddenly raised her jade hand, softly exclaims.

Oracle Buddha Ancestor looked over, wearing the smile of a victor, calmly said, ”Fallen Leaf Sacred Woman, what do you wish to say?”

”Oracle Buddha Ancestor, our Holy Buddha Sect has also tutored a Yinfuti!”

Fallen Leaf Sacred Woman smiled and said.

After saying this.

Ye Yun stepped out, standing above the lake’s horizon.

”No need to be surprised; I am that Yinfuti!”

Ye Yun smiled calmly, gazing at all those powerful figures around, directly revealing the truth.

Everyone froze.

What is this?

How has the Holy Buddha Sect also tutored a Yinfuti?

Standing on the Nine-leaf Lotus, Dragon Court Buddha Child gazed at Ye Yun in shock.

This guy’s grasp of Buddhist Law is so profound, far surpassing Fallen Leaf Sacred Woman, yet he’s the legendary unyielding Yinfuti?

The lotus leaves trembled gently.

Two figures quietly appeared beside him.

The newcomers were a Purple Yi Monk and a middle-aged red-robed monk.

”Greetings, Uncle!”

Upon seeing the middle-aged monk, Dragon Court Buddha Child’s expression changed, hurriedly greeted with joined hands.

He then looked at the Purple Yi Monk, feeling familiar as if seen somewhere before.

Standing on the Nine-leaf Lotus.

Dragon Tree Buddha gazed into the void at the young man in plain clothes.

At this time, his gaze deep and mysterious purple light flickered within, resembling countless divine Buddhas birthed and demised within, illustrating endless transformation.

”How is my root found here?”

Dragon Tree Buddha exclaimed in surprise.
