Chapter 970: Chapter 970: Has Your True Body Cultivated Buddhist Law?

Ye Yun’s expression revealed delight...

This was because.

No matter how you look at it, Ancestor of Buddha Flames and Happy Buddha Ancestor are God King Experts, powerful figures who dominate regions even in the Land of Thousands of Buddhas.

Such God King Experts, to have them under his banner, is an opportunity he cannot miss.

Ye Yun resides in Divine Land.

Currently, he has established only two factions.

The first faction is in The Ninth Sea Area, which will serve as the Divine Land branch of the Dragon God Sect in the future.

The second faction is the Supreme Forgetful Love Palace in the far-off Supreme Realm.

Looking at these two factions now, they are still relatively weak.

If he accepts Happy Buddha Ancestor and Ancestor of Buddha Flames, it would be equivalent to gaining two Divine King level factions.

Especially since the true form of Ancestor of Buddha Flames is Buddha Flame Root, with countless incarnations spread across Divine Land, the power is even more terrifying.

However.

Ye Yun secretly speculated, though he had subdued one incarnation of the Buddha Flame Root, the others should be unaffected, or rather, completely unaffected.

”Ancestor of Buddha Flames, where are all your incarnations currently?”

Ye Yun pondered and asked calmly.

”Buddha Lord, my incarnations are everywhere in Divine Land, do you wish to have them all under your command too?”

Ancestor of Buddha Flames asked.

”I do have that intention...”

Ye Yun smiled slightly, without any attempt to hide it.

”Buddha Lord, my incarnations and I don’t have a subordinate relationship, so we cannot command each other...”

Ancestor of Buddha Flames shook his head with a wry smile.

”I see... Are all your incarnations at the Divine King Realm?”

Ye Yun raised his eyebrows slightly.

”Some are at the Divine King Realm, but there are also some at the God Venerable Realm!”

Ancestor of Buddha Flames explained.

”Why have so many incarnations remained hidden?”

Ye Yun asked curiously.

Logically speaking, with countless incarnations of the Buddha Flame Root, such a powerful force should have established a massive presence in Divine Land.

But the fact was, Buddha Flame Root had always hidden deep underground and rarely appeared in Divine Land.

So low-key it’s terrifying.

Only this incarnation of Ancestor of Buddha Flames at the Divine King Realm would occasionally appear in the Land of Thousands of Buddhas to attend grand events like the Ten Thousand Buddhas Dynasty.

Upon hearing Ye Yun’s question, Happy Buddha Ancestor also perked up his ears.

Naturally, he was very interested in the incarnations of Buddha Flame Root.

Ancestor of Buddha Flames showed difficulty on his face, thought for several seconds, then slowly began to speak: ”Since I have already converted to the Buddha Lord, I will tell you this secret...”

”Go ahead.”

Ye Yun smiled faintly.

It seems there is more to this Buddha Flame Root...

”Buddha Lord, to tell the truth, my true form completely disappeared millions of years ago, and I don’t know where he is...”

Ancestor of Buddha Flames smiled wryly and said: ”It’s precisely because the true form is gone that the incarnations govern themselves and hide deep underground, incapable of commanding one another!”

”There are many incarnations at the Divine King Realm too, why are they so low-key?”

Ye Yun asked.

”I don’t know, after the true form disappeared, we felt an indescribable, soul-deep fear, and the moment we appear in Divine Land, we might face a catastrophe!”

When saying this, Ancestor of Buddha Flames’s face also turned pale.

”Such a thing...”

Ye Yun murmured, his expression suddenly becoming much darker.

He felt like Ancestor of Buddha Flames and Dragon God Sect alike had suffered at the hands of a hidden adversary.

This method seemed typical of a hidden hand.

But this is Divine Land.

Why would a hidden hand cause such intimidation to Buddha Flame Root?

”I say, Ancestor of Buddha Flames...”

Happy Buddha Ancestor blinked and curiously asked, ”Your incarnations are so powerful, shouldn’t your true form be even more formidable? Can anyone in this world capture your true form?”

”Specifically, I don’t know if he was captured or if something happened that caused the true form to hide, it’s hard to say...”

Ancestor of Buddha Flames frowned and said softly.

”Are all Buddha Flame Roots interested in Buddhist Law?”

Ye Yun pondered suddenly and asked.

”Not entirely, as far as I know, half of the incarnations have gradually become interested in Buddhist Law over these millions of years, then hid deep underground, constantly studying Buddhist Law.”

Ancestor of Buddha Flames explained.

”That is rather strange!”

Ye Yun furrowed his brows, thought for a moment, and continued to ask, ”Why do you study Buddhist Law from your own perspective?”

”I don’t know either, it seems that the karma of Buddhist Law suddenly emerged from deep within the soul, making me feel close to it, and I usually hide in the depths of the Land of Thousands of Buddhas, being near, I studied many Buddhist laws from various sects...”

Ancestor of Buddha Flames shook his head and explained helplessly.

”In Divine Land, especially within the Land of Thousands of Buddhas, many non-believers of Buddhism, when the karmic opportunity matures, they will spontaneously feel close to Buddhist Law and join the Buddhist Gate, this is not uncommon!”

Happy Buddha Ancestor added on the side.

After listening to both of them.

Ye Yun’s expression became even darker.

Happy Buddha Ancestor’s words might have some truth; he had heard of many people indeed following this path.

But Buddha Flame Root is a renowned great demon, although not inherently vicious, it is never a benevolent being.

The difficulty of converting such a great demon to the Buddhist Gate is imaginable.

In Ye Yun’s view.

Those who practice the Buddhist Path are basically human cultivators, demons are very few.

In his ingrained impression, if demons converted to the Buddhist Gate, they were often the mounts of some great powers within the Buddhist Gate.

A flash of insight struck Ye Yun, and he blurted out: ”Could it be... your true form practiced Buddhist Law?”

”True form practiced Buddhist Law?”

Ancestor of Buddha Flames exclaimed in shock, his face showing a look of horror.

This sentence was like a huge stone, stirring up waves in his heart.

Yes!

Why hadn’t he thought of it before?

The true form could possibly have practiced Buddhist Law, thus influencing other incarnations.

Thinking of this, Ancestor of Buddha Flames smiled wryly and said hoarsely, ”Buddha Lord, you might be right...”

”Even if the true form practiced Buddhist Law, the influence on the incarnations shouldn’t be to such a terrifying extent, so I guess your true form might be an outstanding figure in the Buddhist Path...” Ye Yun slowly spoke, his eyes becoming even brighter at this moment.

”An outstanding figure? Buddha Lord, do you mean?”

Ancestor of Buddha Flames looked puzzled.

”Could it be the Supreme Buddha Sect, Jade Buddha Sect, or Holy Buddha Sect — one of these three supreme Buddha sects?”

Ye Yun speculated.

”Probably not, the Buddhist Law of the three supreme Buddha sects is indeed powerful, but it can’t be that powerful, right?”

Ancestor of Buddha Flames thought about it and shook his head, denying it.

Happy Buddha Ancestor frowned and interjected, ”Could it be other forces? Like some ancient Buddhist Path sects, although they are not as powerful as the three supreme Buddha sects, their Buddhist Law is exceedingly profound...”

”Probably not either.”

Ancestor of Buddha Flames continued to deny.

”Could it be—it’s the Dragon Tree Buddha from the Dragon Elephant Prajna Sect that was passed down?”

Ye Yun’s lips moved, speaking as if dropping a bombshell.
