Checking in for 100,000 Years

Chapter 955: Chapter 955: The Holy Sky Buddha Ancestor Makes a Move

”Hehe, this Yinfuti has come at a good time, it’s truly a destined encounter...”

The Holy Sky Buddha Ancestor stroked his long beard, murmuring to himself, excitement evident in his expression.

”Master, did I hear that right?”

Seeing the Holy Sky Buddha Ancestor so visibly out of character, the Fallen Leaf Sacred Woman widened her beautiful eyes in shock and asked, ”Does the Jade Buddha Sect also have a Yinfuti?”

”Indeed, Luo Ye!”

The Holy Sky Buddha Ancestor adjusted his demeanor, sighing, ”This Yinfuti has been in the Jade Buddha Sect for millions of years, yet they have never succeeded in Pudu. Now they must have succeeded, hence spreading the little rumor...”

Upon hearing this, the Fallen Leaf Sacred Woman fell silent.

The three supreme forces in the Land of Thousands of Buddhas are the Holy Buddha Sect, the Jade Buddha Sect, and the Supreme Buddha Sect.

The Holy Buddha Sect is acknowledged as the first, the Jade Buddha Sect second, and the Supreme Buddha Sect third.

For countless years, these three forces have been in open and covert strife.

However, the Holy Buddha Sect has always steadily held the advantage, surpassing the other two sects in Buddhist Law attainment.

Yet unexpectedly, the Jade Buddha Sect has secretly obtained a Yinfuti from somewhere and has been quietly engaged in Pudu.

Once the Pudu succeeds, it will shock the entire Land of Thousands of Buddhas!

Then, the Jade Buddha Sect’s momentum will absolutely surpass the Holy Buddha Sect, becoming the undisputed number one.

Such a scenario is certainly unacceptable to everyone in the Holy Buddha Sect.

Originally, she attended the Grand Assembly of All Buddhas to showcase the Holy Buddha Sect’s Buddhist Law, to awe the major Buddha Sect powers within the Divine Land.

Yet she never anticipated that this Grand Assembly of All Buddhas harbored ill intentions.

Since the Jade Buddha Sect has subdued that Yinfuti, they will surely announce this explosive news in front of the world’s Buddha Children.

As a result, even if she showcases Buddhist Law, it will prove entirely fruitless.

No matter how profound the Holy Buddha Sect’s Buddhist Law is, without having Pudu a Yinfuti, how could it possibly awe the multitude of Buddha Children in the Land of Thousands of Buddhas?

”Holy Sky Buddha Ancestor, the Jade Buddha Sect is so cunning, taking advantage of the Grand Assembly of All Buddhas to try and overthrow us, the Holy Buddha Sect. They truly harbor wolf-like ambitions, deserving condemnation...”

The Yoga Godlord’s face turned slightly cold, gritting his teeth as he spoke.

”Indeed!”

The Holy Sky Buddha Ancestor spoke softly, suddenly fixing his gaze on Ye Yun, speaking with relief, ”Fortunately, another Yinfuti has appeared, granting our Holy Buddha Sect a chance!”

Upon hearing this, Ye Yun laughed outright.

The Holy Sky Buddha Ancestor’s intention was revealed within these words without a doubt.

”I say, old monk, might you be thinking of Puduing me?”

Ye Yun spread his hands, laughed heartily.

”Dear benefactor, this humble monk sees you possess an aura of hostility, which greatly affects your cultivation. If Pudued by Buddhist Law, your soul will be purified, making your future cultivation path much smoother—this presents a win-win situation for both our Holy Buddha Sect and you, wouldn’t you agree?”

Looking earnestly at Ye Yun, the Holy Sky Buddha Ancestor’s voice remained calm, trying his best to suppress his inner excitement.

”This isn’t any win-win situation at all...”

Ye Yun shook his head.

”Why do you say that, benefactor?”

The Holy Sky Buddha Ancestor was taken aback, instinctively retorting.

”Your Buddhist Law is quite ordinary, incapable of Puduing me, so no win-win situation will ever occur!”

Ye Yun replied sharply, without reservation.

After hearing these words.

The Holy Sky Buddha Ancestor nearly spat a mouthful of blood in frustration.

He is the Sect Master of the Holy Buddha Sect; whether in cultivation base or Buddhist Law depth, he firmly stands as number one within the Holy Buddha Sect.

If even he cannot Pudu the Yinfuti before him, then truly their Holy Buddha Sect has no hope left.

Truth be told.

Even before formally attempting Pudu, the Holy Sky Buddha Ancestor’s heart harbors some unease.

If this person is indeed a Yinfuti, achieving successful Pudu might be as difficult as ascending to heaven.

Had it been easy, the Jade Buddha Sect would have succeeded long ago.

”Hey, hey, what nonsense are you spouting? The Holy Sky Buddha Ancestor’s Buddhist Law is profound, unrivaled in the Land of Thousands of Buddhas, how could he possibly fail to Pudu you?”

Staring at Ye Yun, the Yoga Godlord furrowed her brows, speaking bluntly.

”You little lass, sooner or later I’ll make you see!”

Ye Yun gave the Yoga Godlord a glance, speaking gruffly.

This glance was light as a feather, yet for some unknown reason, it made the Yoga Godlord’s heart flutter apprehensively.

”Is this rascal full of malice, tough by nature, intending to retaliate against me?”

This thought suddenly crossed the Yoga Godlord’s mind.

But she shook her head afterward.

This Yinfuti is merely in the Divine Monarch Realm, vastly inferior in realm to hers, unable to retaliate if he wished.

By the time he cultivates to the Divine Sovereign Realm, she might have already broken through to the Divine King Realm, further widening the gap in realm.

Thus.

This Yinfuti would never catch up to her in realm.

”Benefactor, since you don’t trust this humble monk’s Buddhist Law, this humble monk shall attempt to Pudu you anyway...”

The Holy Sky Buddha Ancestor frowned upon Ye Yun’s disrespect.

”Old monk, go ahead, I’d willingly become your disciple if you Pudued me!”

Ye Yun sneered.

His laughter was loud, reverberating through the void with a hum, drawing disdainful gazes from the other female disciples of the Holy Buddha Sect on the Celestial Boat.

To these female disciples.

This Yinfuti truly is not a good person.

To dare insult their Holy Buddha Sect’s Sect Master is utterly atrocious.

”This old monk’s Buddhist Law is profoundly sophisticated; he might succeed in Puduing Ye Chen...”

Master Hongyun looked at the Holy Sky Buddha Ancestor, his face showing admiration.

Though a disciple of the Evil Buddha Sect, he possesses certain attainments in the Buddhist Path, so he admires the Holy Sky Buddha Ancestor, a leader in the Buddha Sects.

Thus, seeing the Holy Sky Buddha Ancestor attempting to Pudu Ye Yun, he harbors no other thoughts.

After Pudu, Ye Yun would become compassionate and peaceful, which is also beneficial to him.

”Here comes this humble monk’s move!”

Seeing Ye Yun’s arrogance, the Holy Sky Buddha Ancestor remained unperturbed, taking a deep breath and joining his palms.

Whoosh!

A holy light of Buddha rose from behind him, transforming into various divine and Buddha shadows in mid-air.

These divine and Buddha shadows appeared vivid and exceedingly real, like living divine beings and Buddhas.

Bzzzz...

All these divine beings and Buddhas spoke in unison, chanting supreme mantras.

A tide of holy light of Buddha descended from those divine Buddhas’ mouths, enveloping Ye Yun instantly.

”Old monk, you’re slightly better than your disciple, but indeed you have no solution for me, you don’t believe me, wait and see!”

Ye Yun perceived it, shook his head, and laughed contemptuously.

The Holy Sky Buddha Ancestor remained unmoved.

Yet the Fallen Leaf Sacred Woman furrowed her eyebrows, holding some resentment toward Ye Yun’s conduct.

It’s fine not to respect her, that’s because her Buddhist Law isn’t deep enough to Pudu Ye Yun, this Yinfuti.

But to disrespect her master, the Fallen Leaf Sacred Woman felt some injustice in her heart.

Perhaps the Holy Sky Buddha Ancestor’s Pudu power was too powerful, even a little ripple immensely affected Master Hongyun.

He stood dazedly, his demeanor becoming increasingly solemn, hands joining involuntarily, chanting Buddha titles, and soon a radiant Buddha circle rose behind his head.

An aura of sacred white Buddha light flowed all over him, from afar resembling a red-robed monk who had attained enlightenment.
