Return of the Antagonistic Lady Boss

Chapter 696: Chapter 670: Karma Never Misses

Lying on the bed and hypnotized by Qian, Weiwei heard the voice with some pain. Qian patted her reassuringly, ”Don’t be afraid, after today, no one will hurt you anymore. Carefully feel this sinner’s confession. Whether you want to forgive him or not is up to you. Now, listen~”

Reporter Bai Jin said to Ye Daqian in the living room, following Qian’s instructions, ”You can start kowtowing! I will count. You promised 81 times, and it must be 81, not one less!”

The idol had instructed this as the best way to treat the little girl. Bai Jin had seen Qian’s demeanor while negotiating with the thugs before and firmly believed in Qian’s words.

Ye Daqian just wanted to be freed from the nightmare and immediately started kowtowing. Qian’s voice came clearly from the bedroom.

”You have to kowtow while saying ’I’m sorry, I was wrong, I owe you an apology!’”

”The one just now doesn’t count, come on, start over.” Bai Jin started counting again.

The sound of a forehead hitting the floor, accompanied by the villain’s repeated apologies, echoed in Weiwei’s ears. Qian stayed by her side the entire time.

Watching her transformation from initial terror to silent tears, to finally her brows relaxing, feeling a little girl struggling on the brink of death’s desire for life.

”I’m sorry, I was wrong, I owe you an apology...”

Confessions resounded within the house. Irremovable harm, unforgettable pain, time and space twisted at this moment. In Qian’s semi-hypnotic state, Weiwei’s memories started to blur, and those hurtful past events finally awaited an apology. Her heart still hurt, but it wasn’t as deeply agonizing.

”None of what happened was your fault. Now the villain knows remorse. You are a pure and wonderful girl; it’s his fault, not yours. You are very pure and wonderful.”

With Ye Daqian’s kowtow and confession, Qian lovingly whispered these words into Weiwei’s ear.

Receiving an apology from the violator, along with the affirmation from those around you, is the only way to heal a wounded soul.

Qian’s gentle reassurance increasingly calmed Weiwei’s heart, while Ye Daqian’s apologies continued.

The kowtowing and apologizing made him increasingly dizzy, and the still-healing injury throbbed with his actions. At this moment, Ye Daqian suffered immensely. As he apologized, memories of his evil deeds surfaced in his mind. When he bullied others, he thought no one would ever notice or punish him. Now, as he faced punishment, he despairingly realized that no one could save him.

Do not misuse your power to bully others, because in this vast world, there are always those stronger waiting to take revenge. As Ye Daqian nearly fainted from kowtowing, this thought crossed his mind, but it was too late.

The sounds of kowtowing and apologizing became slower and the sound of his forehead hitting the floor weakened, as if Ye Daqian’s stamina had reached its limit.

Bai Jin was beside him counting, and Ye Daqian had already kowtowed the 80th time. For an ordinary person, it might not be difficult, but for him, now a man with an injury, each movement felt as painful as if his mended wound was tearing open.

A vaguely moist fluid soaked through his pants. It was unclear if it was blood or sweat, as he was numb with pain, almost to the point of death.

One more to go, but he just couldn’t get up; his body felt especially heavy.

Qian’s treatment for Weiwei had reached its final step.

”Did you hear that bastard apologize? You have a long future ahead. You may choose not to forgive this villain or maintain your hatred towards him, but please let go of yourself. Now, follow the sound of my finger and wake up. Face it, and choose. It doesn’t matter whether you forgive him or not, what you need to do is let go of yourself.”

Qian’s words brought tears to Weiwei’s eyes. She opened them, following the sound of Qian’s fingers, and looked at Qian with tear-filled eyes as Qian encouragingly patted her hand.

”Idol! There’s just one more left! He’s lying on the floor and won’t get up, what should we do?” Bai Jin’s voice came from outside.

Qian looked at Weiwei, leaving the final choice to her.

”On the other side of the door is the sinner who once hurt you. He is apologizing for the wrongs he committed. Of course, this doesn’t make up for even a tenth of the harm he caused. Now, you can choose to open the door and face him. You can hit him, beat him, or scorn him. In this room, you’re allowed to do anything. Trust yourself; the wrong lies with him and has nothing to do with you. You are still a pure, good child. After today, this bastard will not hurt you anymore, and your life will begin anew.”

What Qian was doing now was to help Weiwei’s injured and fearful heart through an intensive training. She wanted Weiwei to see the villain at his worst, for confronting fear is the best way to feel safe, letting her know that those who hurt her would get their retribution and would no longer harm her.

An extreme method, yet the best remedy for Weiwei’s healing.

Weiwei always thought she was very afraid of that villain, but under Qian’s calm voice, she felt very safe. Qian’s warm hand held hers, giving her a feeling of maternal protection.

If her mother were here, she would certainly protect her like Meiwei would.

”Go ahead, baby, you are always the best baby in Meiwei’s heart.”

This term ”baby” fully warmed the wounded child. Weiwei gathered courage and walked forward, with Qian’s hand still holding hers tightly, providing her with strength and reassurance not to be afraid.

At this moment, Qian filled the role of the mother who had always been absent in Weiwei’s life, shielding her fear of Ye Daqian with warm maternal love.

Ye Daqian, kneeling on the ground, could no longer get up. His crotch was soaked with something like menstrual blood, but he no longer cared, to be precise, he was beyond caring.

His body and soul were in the greatest pain, one short of completion. One more, just have to say the final words, and he could gain forgiveness from the gods and escape the nightmares and the suffering of being bitten by dogs every night. He even hoped to use this opportunity to escape that dreadful curse.

In his next life, he would reincarnate as a dog.

This psychological suggestion that Qian let Ye Xiaoyu voice had a tremendous impact on Ye Daqian and became the most dreaded sentence of his remaining life.

When Qian emerged holding Weiwei’s hand, she looked at Ye Daqian, who had once abused his power to bully others, now reduced to this pitiful state. It seemed pathetic, yet Qian felt no pity for him.

She could see that Ye Daqian’s apology was not heartfelt for Weiwei’s sake but out of fear of the curse, fear of nightmares.

So his kowtowing and apology were merely out of fear of karmic retribution.

Qian looked at Ye Daqian as if he were air; such scum was automatically ignored in her eyes. If it weren’t for the innocent little sister by her side, Qian would have preferred to finish him off.
