Return of the Antagonistic Lady Boss

Chapter 655: Chapter 629: Xiaoqiang Turned Them Into Stray Dogs

No matter how Ye the Beast is handled by the authorities, Qian is relentless. To abuse a child in her presence is akin to poking a bear. She directly contacted Liao Fugui and conducted a forensic psychiatric evaluation with Weiwei. Although criminal law does not clearly define the existence of mental harm, theoretically it absolutely supports it.

Mr. Ye, the wolf in human skin, couldn’t handle the shift from a state enterprise leader to a private enterprise worker due to work pressure, resulting in psychological distortion. This was similar to the sleazy guy who called Qian, whose life pressures also led to psychological mutations, venting their stress in a shameless manner.

What Mr. Ye did was even more unforgivable than the man making harassing calls.

After having Mr. Ye taken away, Qian spent half the night breaking through Weiwei’s psychological defenses, and she learned the heartbreaking truth.

Mr. Ye had started abusing Weiwei years ago. It began with inappropriate touching and then turned into hitting. For a little girl fostered in someone else’s home, these actions were undoubtedly terrifying and helpless.

At that time, Weiwei was less than 10 years old, completely unaware of what to do. She was very scared but didn’t know who to tell. Her foster mother only cared about money, despised her, and was not close to her usually. Although she was close with Xiaoyuu, she didn’t know how to talk about such private matters, nor dared to.

Mr. Ye also threatened her, saying that if she told anyone, he would find someone to kill her, leaving her corpse in the street.

What can a child understand? Under such coercion, she dared not tell anyone and kept this terrible secret in her heart, while Mr. Ye would symbolically compensate her with some things after the abuse.

Sometimes it was some pocket money, sometimes a meal at KFC or pretty clothes.

In front of others, Mr. Ye appeared to be a good dad, especially fond of his daughter, but behind closed doors, he was a violent abuser.

Finally, when Weiwei turned 14, his abuses intensified, beating her mercilessly every time.

Upon hearing this, Qian almost gritted her teeth to pieces.

This bastard!!!

Qian had encountered similar cases of adult relatives abusing children before. She had handled many such cases previously, where those poor children had to endure these horrifying things at an age when they knew nothing, forcibly pushed into the adult world’s cruel reality.

In cases of minors being violated, a large proportion are committed by acquaintances, and the psychological harm caused to minors by such actions is immeasurable.

Yet the punishment for such scum is only a few years, and more victims choose to stay silent, not knowing what ways to protect themselves, with the sky turning gray.

Weiwei’s severe depression was also triggered by this incident.

Qian was furious after hearing about it, even though she had anticipated it, knowing the truth made her even angrier.

Qiuqiu and Liumei didn’t know the whole story but could guess some of it.

The most affected was Ye Xiaoyu, who could never have expected it.

She couldn’t believe that her father had done such a thing.

But just as Yu Minglang had expected, although the evaluation linked Weiwei’s depression to Mr. Ye’s abuse, Liao Fugui’s unit also provided authoritative testing. Qian took Weiwei to the hospital for verification, but no evidence could be extracted. He only admitted to hitting the child for educational purposes, denying any other actions.

Ye Xiaoyu had been too shaken these days to care for Weiwei, so Qian had Mr. Liu arrange a business trip for Ye Xiaoyu through the station director to send her out of town.

Weiwei stayed with Qian, who tried many methods to help her, but the effect felt minimal.

Stimulated in the depressive episode, solving this problem was challenging, and Qian now worried more about how to eliminate the psychological shadow after Weiwei’s recovery.

This morning, Qian heard someone kicking the door. She went to open it and saw Lv Zhi standing outside through the peephole. Lv Zhi was Mr. Ye’s salesperson wife.

She was holding a bucket of what was presumably paint or something else; Yu Liumei wanted to open the door, but Qian held her hand and shook her head.

No matter how skilled you are, you fear a kitchen knife; you can’t head-on with a mad dog.

”Open the door! You bastards! Eating at my house, living at my house, raising an ingrate for so many years! How dare you sue us, Ye Xiaowei, you’ll die miserably!” Lv Zhi shouted at the top of her lungs.

Qian shot Liumei a look, signaling her to go inside and put on headphones for the still-sleeping Weiwei.

Weiwei, in these few days, was in a depression episode, her actions and thoughts slowed, even simple tasks needed a long time to process, giving Qian time to handle the issue.

”Go mad at home, not at my door; I’ll call someone here!” Qian threatened.

Outside, Lv Zhi responded to Qian by frantically kicking the door, ”Open the door! If you have the guts, open it! Calling someone won’t help; I’m killing you today!”

”Oh, who are you going to kill?” Yu Minglang stood behind Lv Zhi with breakfast, saying coldly.

Yu Minglang had just rested and, seeing someone dare to cause trouble, attempted to splash paint meant for his soon-to-be legal wife Mei, fueling his anger.

Lv Zhi only heard a cold male voice behind her. Just as she turned her head to see Yu Minglang in casual clothes, she found her vision turned red—

A bucket of paint fell from the sky, perfectly using the paint she brought to cover her.

Qian watched clearly through the peephole and felt satisfied, opening the door willingly.

After dousing Lv Zhi with paint, turning her into a ’celebrity’, Yu Minglang spread his hands at Qian, who was leaning against the doorframe watching.

”I never hit women.” So, this doesn’t count as hitting.

Throwing paint doesn’t count as hitting, this move was good, and Qian silently gave him a thumbs-up.

”You’re bullying people too much!” Lv Zhi was splattered with paint, looking disheveled, reaching out her red-stained hand trying to grab Qian, but Yu Minglang quickly moved Qian out of the way, making the scene bloody and terrifying.

”You brought the paint; this is my wife’s home. Who’s bullying whom exactly?” Yu Minglang held Qian, and she slightly raised her chin, causing him to bend down and plant a kiss.

The backdrop was the furious ’celebrity’.

”You won’t have a good ending! Meddling in others’ business! It’s our family matter; what’s it to you? Give up that ungrateful little vixen, or I’ll make you suffer!” Lv Zhi viciously declared.

Sadly, the red outfit failed to add credibility, more like the bark of a rabid dog.
