Everything visible to the Undead inside the city can naturally be seen by Gu Xi outside the city.

At this moment, he even felt that a similar vortex had appeared above the Mud Undead’s heads, who were being treated as experience packs by his subordinates.

All Mud Undead were locked in, seemingly about to be seized.

”What the hell?”

Seeing the situation before him, Gu Xi was speechless.

He didn’t understand what had happened this time.

Had the octopus-headed Undead Mage inside the city caused another major event?

Just then, at the location near the city wall occupied by Gu Xi, a large group of Bone Dragons appeared in the sky.

This was the first time Gu Xi’s Bone Dragon Corps had actively returned.

One must understand that the order Gu Xi gave them was to act freely and ensure locking on to the current Death City.

Even when Gu Xi previously led the corps into the Death City, the Bone Dragons did not fly over to assist.

The four Undead Corps similarly deployed inside.

The fact that the Bone Dragon Corps flew here so seriously, there must be an issue.

Not to mention that the situation before his eyes was visibly wrong.

Upon discovering such circumstances, Gu Xi immediately stood up.

”Go receive the Bone Dragon Corps, see what’s happening; has the follow-up support arrived, let them hasten, and the siege machinery corps prepare for attack; this city might have a problem.

No matter what, ensure the troops inside the city have a safe retreat.”

Under Gu Xi’s orders, his subordinate corps killing the Mud Undead quickly sprang into action.

While playing with experience packs was fun, Gu Xi’s orders were more important.

They swiftly moved, leaving only a portion of the Undead Corps handling the Mud Undead trying to rise, while the rest charged towards the Death City.

Luckily, when Gu Xi retreated, the city gate wasn’t sent back, and as they rushed back, there weren’t any troubles.

Nor did anyone obstruct their approach, and soon, the Undead Corps led by the tool-hero occupied the position previously held by Gu Xi.

At this time, the ground in this area was covered with fragments of white bones.

No need to ask, this was the result of the White Bone Obelisk’s effort recently.

Beneath the White Bone Obelisk, the Equipment Carrier also evidently noticed something was wrong.

The Skeleton Soldiers standing behind him were decreasing one by one.

Obviously, the Equipment Carrier was using the White Bone Obelisk’s sacrificial method to protect the Undead Corps in the city.

Upon seeing batch after batch of Undead Corps rushing in from the city gate, the Equipment Carrier merely shook his head, then dragged out two more Skeleton Soldiers, submitting them beneath the White Bone Obelisk.

The Undead Corps just entering the Death City didn’t know that the Equipment Carrier of the White Bone Obelisk had worried himself sick for them.

At this moment, the Bone Dragons also landed before Gu Xi.

Seeing the number of Bone Dragons before him, Gu Xi was shocked.

Only about three hundred Bone Dragons flew over.

Could it be that something happened to the Bone Dragons?

Just at that moment, the Double-headed Bone Dragon leading the group opened its mouth and spat out a token it had been holding.

Seeing this half-metal, half-biological thing, Gu Xi initially thought the Bone Dragons had found purple armor, certainly something high-power or highly effective.

At the very least, it caused the Bone Dragons some loss; otherwise, they wouldn’t have sent half of their force to deliver this to Gu Xi.

In the Bone Dragons’ interest, Gu Xi stepped forward and picked up the token-like object.

The next instant, Gu Xi’s eyes widened.

Information about the token popped up before him.

[City Control Order (Purple): City Control Token numbered 4-3217, upon activation grants temporary control of the Death City Elthorpe Super New City (Secondary authority, main authority belongs to Kakaritaya Death City Cluster)]

Is there such a thing?

This thought flashed through Gu Xi’s mind.

Soon, Gu Xi realized the reason the Bone Dragons brought this item over.

This is the key to controlling the current Death City.

With that thing now in Gu Xi’s possession, doesn’t it mean he can easily seize the Death City?

Thinking of this, Gu Xi’s eyes lit up, and he quickly jumped atop the Holy Silver Evil Coffin.

”Clear a path for me, prepare to enter the Death City.”

At that moment, the vortex brewing above the Death City for half a while started.

A gigantic arm stretched from the sky.

The arm was entirely red, with hair composed of red arms covering it.

As it extended, the red arms seemed to come alive, as if wanting to grasp everything below.

”What is this situation?”

Today, Gu Xi’s mood was like a roller coaster of twists and turns.

The Holy Silver Evil Coffin, just about to start moving, immediately halted.

Meanwhile, within the Death City, a phantom of the White Bone Obelisk rose, enveloping the portion of the city that Dominic conquered.

Clearly, the Equipment Carrier of the White Bone Obelisk was trying to protect Gu Xi’s gains.

Looking at the freshly obtained [City Control Order], Gu Xi hesitated.

The situation before him became somewhat incomprehensible to him.

He only knew one thing; the arm descending from the sky was problematic.

This descending arm, though not enveloped in an aura, far exceeded Gu Xi’s expectations in quality.

Could this be the octopus-headed Undead Mage’s trump card?

Thinking of this, Gu Xi glanced again at the phantom of the White Bone Obelisk in the city, raising his left hand.

Flame Light Six Paths Lamp appeared in Gu Xi’s hand.

”White Bone Obelisk, protect all troops in the city, withdraw from the Death City.”

Though the Equipment Carrier of the White Bone Obelisk was far from Gu Xi, he was associated with a part of the Flame Light Six Paths Lamp suppression equipment.

As long as Flame Light Six Paths Lamp remained in Gu Xi’s possession, no matter where the Equipment Carrier was, Gu Xi could connect with him.

Upon hearing Gu Xi’s command, the Equipment Carrier of the White Bone Obelisk looked back at the Skeleton Soldiers following him.

Standing up, he tossed two Skeleton Soldiers into the phantom of the White Bone Obelisk.

Regarding Gu Xi’s order, the Equipment Carrier of the White Bone Obelisk had no intention to refuse; he immediately proceeded to transform everything previously invested into the White Bone Obelisk toward another direction.

A blessing.

In all Undead within the city, from the 26-level Ghost Dragon to the newly charged Undead grunts, everyone heard a voice.

They received a blessing.

Through this blessing, all Undead can execute a short-distance instant teleportation, sending them out of the city.

Even Dominic received this blessing’s message.

Upon hearing the situation, Dominic glanced at the Assembly Hall right in front of him, without the slightest hesitation, resolutely turned around and commanded.

”Everyone, retreat!”
