Gu Xi’s voice was fairly loud, so of course it carried over to the Three-legged Golden Crow’s side.

But Gu Xi never expected that after hearing this voice, the Three-legged Golden Crow would actually charge straight toward his direction.

One look at that movement and you could tell it wasn’t coming over to greet him.

”Turn!”

Gu Xi bellowed, pointing straight at the Three-legged Golden Crow in the sky.

Gale Skill!

As Gu Xi gave the order, the Holy Silver Evil Coffin veered, flying toward a relatively safer position.

At the same time Gu Xi activated Gale Skill; he wasn’t trying to kill this Three-legged Golden Crow or anything, he just wanted to shove it aside.

After all, the Three-legged Golden Crow before him was the sun of the Chaoyang Radiance Guild; Gu Xi had no idea what was wrong with this thing right now, and he really didn’t want to end up destroying the Chaoyang Radiance Guild’s treasure.

After letting the Holy Silver Evil Coffin carry him off in another direction, Gu Xi still didn’t forget to keep an eye on the current situation.

The fact that the Three-legged Golden Crow suddenly made a move definitely had a reason behind it.

Gu Xi had to confirm what exactly was going on with this thing.

Why would it attack him right from the start?

Just as Gu Xi turned to look back, he suddenly realized that there seemed to be something wrong on the Three-legged Golden Crow’s back.

Only the light on the Three-legged Golden Crow’s body was simply too intense; when Gu Xi looked over, he had to squint, making it hard for him to clearly see whatever was on the crow’s back.

But the Three-legged Golden Crow’s reaction was quick too; as the wind blew it aside, it twisted its body and sliced out of the wind.

Its speed wasn’t as fast as before, but it was clearly still locked onto Gu Xi and coming for him.

Gu Xi didn’t have time to think things through now. While sending the latest map and intel to the vice leader, he lured the Three-legged Golden Crow farther away.

He hoped he could stall this Three-legged Golden Crow for a while, long enough for the vice leader’s people to get here.

Otherwise he really would have to go all out and kill this Three-legged Golden Crow.

After Gu Xi sent out the map and information, his Heart was no longer overly burdened.

Right now, Gu Xi quickly took the spot where the Three-legged Golden Crow had been circling earlier as the center, and began drawing it onward.

At this point, Gu Xi focused most of his attention on guiding the Three-legged Golden Crow; as for route choices, he left all of that to the Holy Silver Evil Coffin.

As long as the Holy Silver Evil Coffin didn’t mess up the general direction, Gu Xi had no intention of interfering too much.

But Gu Xi quickly discovered that once the Three-legged Golden Crow shook off the influence of Gale Skill, its speed far surpassed that of the Holy Silver Evil Coffin.

More importantly, the Holy Silver Evil Coffin was restrained by the Three-legged Golden Crow in many ways.

The Holy Silver Evil Coffin needed to cut into Shadow and accelerate through the Shadow, but as soon as the Three-legged Golden Crow’s sunlight shone down, all Shadows vanished, and the Holy Silver Evil Coffin almost overturned at that moment.

Likewise, where the Holy Silver Evil Coffin had to speed up along a slope to make a jump across certain terrain, the Three-legged Golden Crow could just fly straight over; it didn’t need to do those ground turns like the coffin did.

Sometimes the Three-legged Golden Crow didn’t even need to flap its wings; sometimes it only had to spread them to glide through the sky.

That Flying speed was way, way faster than the Holy Silver Evil Coffin.

If Gu Xi hadn’t been constantly casting Gale Skill to drag down the crow’s Flying, it might already have flown right over his head by now.

And the closer the Three-legged Golden Crow flew, the more dangerous Gu Xi felt it was.

It was like the instant it got over his head, it would swoop down and tear him into shreds.

At this moment, the Flame in Gu Xi’s Heart was already hard to suppress; he sent another message to the vice leader.

He told them what was happening here.

And in that message, Gu Xi stated bluntly that the Three-legged Golden Crow was about to be right over his head.

If a fight broke out, then Gu Xi would not hold back.

Even though the Three-legged Golden Crow was the Chaoyang Radiance Guild’s treasure, Gu Xi wasn’t going to trade his life for the Guild’s treasure.

If it really flew up to his face and launched an Attack, Gu Xi absolutely wouldn’t go easy on it.

Seeing that Gu Xi had already raised the Illusion Magic Wand and was fully ready for battle—

The Three-legged Golden Crow, which had been chasing him in the sky all this time, suddenly broke off the pursuit, shrieked sharply in the air, and turned to fly back the way it had come.

This sudden move from the Three-legged Golden Crow startled Gu Xi as well.

He was a bit confused about what was going on.

So Gu Xi hurriedly brought the Holy Silver Evil Coffin to a stop and looked toward the Three-legged Golden Crow.

Because its back was facing Gu Xi, he just happened to get a clear view of the situation on the crow’s back.

On the Three-legged Golden Crow’s back, beneath those golden feathers, there were golden Iron Chains.

Clearly, this Three-legged Golden Crow looked as though it was under someone’s control.

This discovery left Gu Xi somewhat speechless.

Could it be that this Three-legged Golden Crow in front of him wasn’t actually the Chaoyang Radiance Guild’s Three-legged Golden Crow?

Gu Xi froze for a moment, seriously trying to recall the Three-legged Golden Crow’s appearance.

But he realized that he really had no way to tell.

Because a normal person simply couldn’t tell which sun in the sky was ”their own” sun.

If he’d misidentified it, then things could get a bit nasty.

Not only would Gu Xi have wasted time here, he’d also dragged the vice leader and the others over.

Just as Gu Xi was about to send a message to tell the vice leader that he’d misjudged the situation, that Three-legged Golden Crow suddenly seemed to be stimulated by something; it flipped over in the air and slammed into a huge skyscraper hanging upside down from the sky.

The skyscraper before his eyes, if placed on flat ground, would be one of those over three hundred stories tall towers.

It could house at least tens of thousands of people.

But after being dragged into this twisted Game World, the skyscraper looked as if it had sat there for hundreds of years; not only were its exterior tiles and glass gone, even the concrete filling inside had crumbled away, exposing the steel skeleton beneath.

From afar, it looked like it might drop out of the sky at any moment.

When Gu Xi passed through here earlier, he’d immediately chosen to steer the Holy Silver Evil Coffin around from the side.

And at that time, the Three-legged Golden Crow had done the same, with no intention of testing whether it was harder than the steel.

But now, the Three-legged Golden Crow, for reasons unknown, actually rammed into it head-on.

Boom!

After the Three-legged Golden Crow struck, the skyscraper was like it had been hit by a missile, erupting with a violent explosion.

Then Gu Xi heard a voice.

”Trying to run!”

Next, a Heavy Armor Soldier wearing Golden Armor, with blue skin and an Octopus Head, burst out of the Flame; he bounced back and forth on the steel bars blasted loose, and was about to land on the Three-legged Golden Crow’s back as it flew out of the Flame.

Gu Xi’s Heart stirred, and his hands moved faster than his thoughts.

He drew an imaginary bow and nocked an arrow, unleashing an Attack at that Heavy Armor Soldier.

”Internal Organ Explosion!”
