Undead Mage from a Cell

Chapter 1031: Chapter 1029: Gu Xi Vanishes from the Battlefield

When Gu Xi focused all his attention on the enemy’s Death City, the vice-captain preparing the Undead Calamity on the battlefield also realized something was wrong.

The enemy fleeing was one thing.

But how did Gu Xi and his city gate disappear in the blink of an eye?

Even though the world before them was quite chaotic, such a vanishing act had never happened before.

Even in retreat, there would be clues, but the complete disappearance before their eyes was something he had never encountered.

Seeing the situation before them, the players from the Chaoyang Radiance Guild were also at a loss, having no idea what just happened.

”Vice-captain, what’s the situation? The Undead Calamity is ready. Who are we supposed to fight?”

”Yeah, vice-captain, what should we do next?”

”Vice-captain...”

”Vice-captain...”

In the end, the vice-captain said sternly, ”Alright, stop calling out. We came to rescue the guild leader, and now that the leader has been found and the enemy eliminated, the situation is still in our favor.

As for where our comrades have gone, I don’t really know either.

After all, this game world has become quite twisted and bizarre, and I can’t judge the current situation.

So, in order to ensure the safe return of our comrades, let’s put more effort into setting up the Undead Calamity Array and initiating the Undead Calamity.

Without saying much else, let’s first ensure the Undead Calamity takes over the vicinity.

This way, when our comrades return, they will have a safe guarantee.

Regarding the upcoming matters, let’s prioritize the guild leader’s safety and escort him out; as for the Undead Calamity Array, I’ll leave the operation method.

Please rest assured, our Chaoyang Radiance Guild is a guild with heart, and we won’t abandon any comrades.

So to ensure the safety of our comrades, let’s put more effort into quickly handling the Undead Calamity Array.”

As he spoke, the vice-captain really took out a crow, swiftly recording the situation here and leaving behind the method to operate the Undead Calamity Array.

Not to mention, if Gu Xi appears here again, he will receive support from all the Undead summoned by the Undead Calamity Array nearby.

After releasing the crow, the vice-captain also looked in the direction the crow flew.

But at this time, the crow just kept circling in the sky, not intending to deliver the message.

This situation left the vice-captain somewhat puzzled; what’s going on? How could there be a time when messages can’t be sent?

In fact, the vice-captain didn’t know that the battle between Gu Xi and the octopus-headed Undead Mage for Death City had already begun.

This was a fight between two players who mastered Death City.

Other external personnel simply had no way to get involved.

So they not only lost Gu Xi’s whereabouts but couldn’t even send a message or leave a note.

Meanwhile, Gu Xi was also unaware of the situation outside. At this time, Gu Xi was discussing with Eldest Princess Anna and the others about the troops that could be mobilized.

As the fundamental battle between Death Cities, Gu Xi felt he must deploy his strongest methods.

If possible, Gu Xi even wanted to mobilize some troops from Jiaolong Blood Castle.

Only this way, Gu Xi would have the confidence to capture the opposing Death City in one move.

At least leading such troops to battle would prevent some problems.

For Gu Xi’s request, Eldest Princess Anna and the others always tried to meet it.

However, Eldest Princess Anna still analyzed rationally. This time, the strength of Gu Xi’s troops was already strong enough, and there was no need to mobilize troops from other branches.

Moreover, the most necessary thing right now is quick combat; further mobilizing troops would only waste time.

What if the enemy uses this time to piece together a new troop?

Even if they don’t gather new troops, as long as they clear the four troops Gu Xi dispatched, Gu Xi’s advantage would be gone.

Understanding this point, Gu Xi no longer dwelled on the issue of military strength.

He immediately issued orders.

The troops ready to march acted first.

The vanguard was led by Amirka, and Gu Xi no longer cared about anything else, temporarily assigning both the Red Knight and Pale Knight to Amirka’s Aurora Knight Order.

Amirka’s task was to move ahead, reach the enemy city gates, and make contact with the four invading heroes.

If they could capture the enemy’s city gate, it would be best; if not, they had to attract the octopus-headed Undead Mage’s attention, preventing him from handling the city’s chaos.

As for the Bone Dragon Corps, although Amirka couldn’t contact or control them, Gu Xi believed they should be able to ensure their own safety, and as for disrupting the opponent’s Death City, that depended on the situation within the opponent’s city.

After all, from Gu Xi’s observation on the battlefield, the enemy’s Death City level was not very high.

A Level 13 troop was already their limit.

Most Bone Dragons were above this level, even though some started at Level 8, at least a large batch had their levels pushed up to the same level as the normal Death Incarnation due to the reason of Death Incarnation.

As long as Gu Xi didn’t use Death Incarnation again, they could maintain this status indefinitely.

With the presence of a Level 26 Ghost Dragon, the Bone Dragon Corps could be considered one of the relatively powerful troops at Gu Xi’s disposal.

The incident with the Fusion Association’s Third Elder last time could only be considered an isolated case.

He didn’t believe that his Bone Dragons, being so strong, could ever be decimated again.

So regarding the Bone Dragon Corps’ whereabouts, Gu Xi didn’t think much about it.

Nor did Amirka need to command them.

After Amirka led the three different knights to attack, the troops Gu Xi needed to prepare were also ready.

Taking advice, Gu Xi didn’t rush to recall Di Mi and Dietrich.

At this time, his main force was still his Converted Undead Squad, in addition to the Black Dragon Camp, Black Spear Camp, Demon Sacrifice Camp, and Bone-Slaying Camp.

The remaining miscellaneous soldiers were handled by Eldest Princess Anna, ready to send out ten thousand once they had ten thousand prepared.

Ensuring Gu Xi had a continuous stream of reinforcements in place.

Although the main force is with Gu Xi, he doesn’t worry about having only a main force and no cannon fodder.

Having mastered the Ghost Gate Opening ability, Gu Xi can open the Ghost Gate at any time, with all the Wandering Spirits emerging from the Ghost Gate being Gu Xi’s cannon fodder.

Coupled with the subsequent troops quickly following, Gu Xi simply didn’t worry about his military strength.

After the few formal troops finished their rest, Gu Xi led them to depart from the Main City Gate, heading towards the opposing Death City.
