The tens of thousands of Mud Undead under the command of the Octopus-headed Undead Mage were separated by Gu Xi, becoming the highest quality experience packets.

The Octopus-headed Undead Mage is unaware.

In his mind, Gu Xi’s side has the weakest defense power, and with so many troops, charging straight through and killing Gu Xi should be no problem at all.

He is just waiting for Gu Xi to be killed so he can capture Yalidu City from Gu Xi.

But as he waits, the Octopus-headed Undead Mage senses something is amiss.

Why does it feel like the connection between him and the Mud Undead has disappeared, and why does the control over Death City seem to be slipping away from him?

The Octopus-headed Undead Mage wants to use his Mind Sensing ability to check what’s happening.

But he suddenly notices something odd; as control of Death City slips away, the area visible to his Mind Sensing is shrinking.

After all, the ability to sense the entire Death City was granted by the city’s permissions.

Without those permissions, he can only rely on his own means for Mind Sensing, and it’s questionable whether the Octopus-headed Undead Mage’s level can cover the battlefield.

Without any other intelligence support, he instantly becomes blind, completely unaware of the situation outside.

In fact, he doesn’t know that his Mud Undead have been treated as experience packets and nearly wiped out.

Nor does he know that after killing the newly dispatched Undead Mage from the Death City Cluster, the Bone Dragon has delivered the control token of Death City to Gu Xi.

He is also unaware that the Conversion Undead Combat Squad under Gu Xi has already set its sights on him.

They have not acted yet, not because they want to spare the Octopus-headed Undead Mage.

But because the Octopus-headed Undead Mage is very vigilant, Gu Xi’s Conversion Undead Combat Squad has yet to find a suitable opportunity to strike.

Instead, more and more Conversion Undead Combat Squads arriving has made the situation rather cramped.

After all, these combat squads do not share mutual command.

If Gu Xi were here, he could make them obey.

Now that Gu Xi is absent, they all want to seize the achievement of killing the enemy leader.

They almost ended up fighting among themselves.

Luckily, these Undead know the limits, and as time ticks by, they all understand that things cannot be delayed any longer.

Delaying could result in the achievement slipping away.

So, a few obviously higher-level Undead came forward, discussed amongst themselves, and laid out the plan.

The strongest would strike to kill the Octopus-headed Undead Mage, while others would watch from the outside to prevent any sudden attacks or rescue from the Octopus-headed Undead Mage’s forces.

Once everything was in place, the strongest Undead began to act swiftly.

This time, a total of ten of the strongest Undead are involved.

They hail from all kinds of Undead races.

Their levels are roughly around level 18.

Of course, this level 18 was not achieved directly when Gu Xi transformed them, but earned bit by bit through combat.

Among the ten Undead, the strongest is a Skeleton Shooter.

Initially, during conversion, he was not detected to have a Shooter Talent, but Gu Xi happened to have a decent Longbow during the conversion.

Adding to this body having no other traits, Gu Xi decided to equip him with the Longbow.

As a result, a Skeleton Shooter emerged.

And when he was transformed, his level dropped by three, descending to level 14.

Gu Xi almost thought something was wrong.

But this one fought back from level 14, becoming the strongest among Gu Xi’s converted Undead.

This is considered somewhat of a little genius.

Among such a group, there are several similar little geniuses.

Such as the Titan of the Ghost Type, Vampire Heavy Armor Soldier, and the White Bone Lich.

These are considered special and elite Undead.

Each possesses a unique aspect.

At this moment, the Skeleton Shooter is also the most suitable choice for the current battle.

”I’ll take the first strike; the White Bone Lich will attack to counter the opponent’s Mind Control and prevent the use of any Mind-type skills.

Next comes the siege.

As long as there aren’t additional Mud Undead, then there’s no problem.”

After stating his plan, the Skeleton Shooter lifted the Longbow and prepared himself.

The Longbow in his hand appears quite ordinary, without any engravings or ornate decorations, seemingly plain, but who would have thought that when it is drawn, a crescent moon shadow emerges behind the Skeleton Shooter.

A Long Arrow formed by moonlight appears on the Longbow.

When the Skeleton Shooter took action, the Octopus-headed Undead Mage finally realized something was wrong; he didn’t need to turn his head to see the ready Skeleton Shooter.

A shaft of moonlight sliced through, and the Octopus-headed Undead Mage felt a heavy blow to his back, sending him flying forward.

As he slammed heavily to the ground, a golden Square Shield crashed onto his head.

This golden Square Shield is wielded by the Vampire Heavy Armor Soldier, who masters various Vampire travel methods including Teleportation, Bat Transformation, and normal movement.

For combat, he naturally Teleports behind the Octopus-headed Undead Mage.

The Octopus-headed Undead Mage is still thinking of counterattacking when three Iron Chains formed from White Bone descend from the sky, binding the Octopus-headed Undead Mage’s head.

These three Iron Chains emit Deep Blue cold qi, instantly freezing the Octopus-headed Undead Mage’s head.

This is the method of the White Bone Lich.

After controlling the Octopus-headed Undead Mage, the remaining Undead swiftly attacked, launching assaults from all directions.

None wanted any problems at this critical moment.

Thus, when they strike, they all unleash their best Skills.

Under this wave of attacks, the Octopus-headed Undead Mage’s body was turned to pulp instantly.

Due to the previous situation with the Mud Undead, Gu Xi’s Undead couldn’t believe the Octopus-headed Undead Mage was truly dead.

They kept attacking the spot where the Octopus-headed Undead Mage once stood.

Only after bombarding the ground thoroughly did they cease their assault.

At this moment, the Skeleton Shooter raised his head to look at the sky.

”I always feel there’s something odd up there.”

The other Undead also looked up, discovering the ground under their feet had turned black and white again, and a vortex appeared in the sky, seemingly attempting to lift and take away the entire Death City from the earth.
