When Mr. Guo made his move, Gu Xi finally snapped out of his previous shock, trying hard not to look at the deceased game world, and prepared to take a detour to leave.

Although he discovered this place, Gu Xi knew very clearly that the things down here were not something he could easily touch.

Without the corresponding knowledge and skills as support, contacting the deceased game world would only lead to one outcome: death.

Moreover, Gu Xi had no intention of relocating Yalidu City from the Mirror Image Underground Palace into the real world.

The current foundational setup for the real-world city was of no use to Gu Xi.

He certainly couldn’t risk having his hometown be consumed by Death Power just to bring back a crystal as a fossil.

He came here just to witness sights he hadn’t seen before, and disregarded the rest.

But just as Gu Xi was about to bypass the large pit and leave, a tension suddenly gripped his heart.

A feeling of unease appeared in Gu Xi’s heart.

Ever since acquiring the Flame Light Six Paths Lamp, Gu Xi rarely had such feelings.

So when he felt this way, his first reaction was to hit the deck and prepare to roll to a safe spot.

As Gu Xi hit the ground, a purple shadow appeared at the spot he originally stood, with seven or eight semi-transparent purple arms reaching out from the shadow, trying to grab where Gu Xi had just been.

However, Gu Xi reacted quickly, hitting the deck immediately, causing the grab to fail.

Rolling on the ground, Gu Xi also saw the situation with the purple shadow.

He realized that someone was targeting him, trying to abduct him.

The only person likely capable of such actions and directly locating him was probably Mr. Guo, who possesses the White Bone Obelisk.

After all, Mr. Guo’s White Bone Obelisk was half in Gu Xi’s possession.

Even for the sake of reclaiming the White Bone Obelisk, Mr. Guo had to fight this battle.

But Gu Xi could never have imagined that Mr. Guo would strike using this fighting method.

Without a second thought, rolling on the ground, Gu Xi raised the Illusion Magic Wand and pointed at the purple shadow’s location.

”Ghost Gate Opening!”

Gu Xi now had a good grasp of the battle situation.

Although he was unclear about the enemy’s situation, he believed that Mr. Guo had already set everything up behind the scenes to directly capture him.

Whether Gu Xi personally went over or dispatched a force from Yalidu City, they would face targeted attacks.

Even if victorious, Gu Xi’s losses would be considerable.

Thus, Gu Xi was unwilling to waste his troops.

Just as well, during his promotion to Lord of the Underworld, he gained a new ability.

A personal version of the Undead Calamity, Ghost Gate Opening.

This directly deploys Ghost Gate at the enemy’s location, from which numerous Wandering Spirits on the Yellow Springs Road emerge.

These beings are numerous, and among the undead, they are the most reckless.

If dealing with someone like Gu Xi, who controls Death Lord-like powers, it’s alright.

Even if they couldn’t be subdued, they wouldn’t turn hostile.

But if faced with those who know nothing, they would become a disaster.

They won’t care what’s in front of them.

In their eyes, even comrades are attackable targets.

Upon Gu Xi’s first use of Ghost Gate Opening, he was uncertain how many Wandering Spirits the gate would release, so following the first move, he decisively bit his teeth and cast five more Ghost Gate Openings into the purple shadow.

In Gu Xi’s mind, with six Ghost Gate Openings, even if half failed, at least three would reach the enemy.

No matter how much they prepared, they couldn’t withstand that many Wandering Spirits taking action.

However, Gu Xi’s assumptions about the situation on the other side of the purple shadow were somewhat naive.

His use of Ghost Gate Opening instead stimulated the Space-Time Gate on Mr. Guo’s side.

The previous Space-Time Gate merely located Gu Xi through the White Bone Obelisk, without locking onto personnel yet.

Now, it was different; the Space-Time Gate immediately locked onto Gu Xi, and more and more arms extended from the purple shadow, reaching for Gu Xi.

Faced with such a situation, Gu Xi could only continuously employ Ghost Gate Opening.

Yet, of each Ghost Gate Opening’s effectiveness, Gu Xi was utterly in the dark.

Seeing more and more arms reaching out for him, a thought crossed Gu Xi’s mind.

Ghost Gate Opening surely works, perhaps a bit of reinforcement?

A thought moved in Gu Xi’s heart, and the Netherworld Dragon Robe Carrier appeared beside him.

Upon appearing, it pointed inside the purple shadow.

”Netherworld Decree!”

This Netherworld Decree also affects the Ghost Gate created by the Ghost Gate Opening technique.

With the descending of this Netherworld Decree, the level of the Ghost Gates increased by at least one.

Hence, the quality and level of the Wandering Spirits emerging improved.

This scenario bolstered the confidence of the ever-evading Gu Xi.

But at this moment, a hand suddenly shot out from the ground, grabbing Gu Xi’s leg.

When Gu Xi was caught, he didn’t panic; he directed the Illusion Magic Wand at the hand.

Deep Freeze!

The hand grabbing Gu Xi froze instantly.

Gu Xi lifted his foot and, with force, kicked the hand away.

Then Gu Xi decisively pointed forward.

Death Witch Summoning!

Under Gu Xi’s command, twenty necromancers were summoned.

Gu Xi crouched lower, attempting to hide among these necromancers.

However, unfortunately, Gu Xi’s attire was nothing like that of a necromancer.

Even after summoning them, many arms still reached for Gu Xi.

Gu Xi had to temporarily switch Pathfinding Skill clones, utilizing his increased agility and perception of 12 points to dodge the arms.

But he knew this couldn’t go on.

He was continuously searching for a suitable response.

While dodging, Gu Xi sifted through his skills, equipment, and assets, pondering over them in his mind.

Ultimately, Gu Xi’s focus landed on the White Bone Obelisk Carrier he recently acquired.

If the opponent could use the White Bone Obelisk, then could Gu Xi use it as well?

As the thought flickered in Gu Xi’s mind, the White Bone Pyramid Carrier swiftly appeared behind him.

Gu Xi issued a single command: find a way to get him out of the current situation.

Upon the appearance of the White Bone Pyramid Carrier, a layer of grayish-white Bone Armor automatically covered Gu Xi, and then the White Bone Obelisk Carrier moved, turning its gaze towards the purple shadow, making a gesture with its hand.
