Chapter 992: Chapter 777: Hell on Earth (3)

Blood splattered everywhere and slowly disappeared.

Right in front of Huai Shi, the shattered shell did not fall, it only looked at the young man before it with pity, and the grin on its broken head was incomplete.

”It’s too late, Huai Shi.”

At that moment, Death Perception came from above, a strange brilliance shone amidst the pervasive dark clouds, it was a giant star, a burning iron giant star fell, tearing through the clouds, heading towards the earth.

Falling, falling and falling.

That is... a missile!

Huai Shi raised his head, his eyes illuminated by the sparks of destruction.

Three minutes ago, Edo, Yokota Air Base. The black-haired, black-eyed Roman elder supported himself with his palms, smiling as he watched the commander press the launch button.

Thus, the earth roared, flames burst forth.

From the launch silos, an iron star rose steadily into the sky...

Now, it falls from the heavens.

In the sound of the whistling.

”Do you know how Hell on Earth is created, Huai Shi?”

In the shrill shriek, Woodman smiled, raising his hand, ”Just a little blood, a little pain, a bit of death, and most importantly... a pinch of despair.”

Snap!

Accompanied by the crisp snap of fingers, the light of extinction descended from the sky.

Amid the roar like a chorus of millions singing hymns in unison, cluster missiles split from the sky, birthed in the posture of disaster, sowing the seeds of death upon the earth.

In an instant, everything in sight was engulfed.

Kyoto quaked, countless flames erupted fiercely from the ground, convulsing like angry hands stretching out to the sky.

The destruction finally reached its climax amid the shaking earth and mountains.

.

Inside a broken izakaya, Zhenxi only heard the deafening roar, instinctively shielding the proprietress and Tomoko beneath her, then the heavy planks collapsed under the impact of the shock wave.

The world seemed to become deathly silent in an instant.

Unable to hear any sound.

Only a ringing like some small insects in her ears continuously chirping.

She coughed strenuously, propping herself up, using all her strength to lift the collapsed beam, shouting loudly, ”Auntie JinJiang, Tomoko, are you okay? Tomoko! Tomoko!”

Behind her, JinJiang’s complexion was pale, dust covering her face, while Tomoko was unharmed in her arms.

Zhenxi sighed with relief and began to smile.

But then she saw the proprietress’s expression change, shouting something loudly at her, but the voice was too distant, she couldn’t hear it clearly.

Zhenxi felt someone punch her in the back.

Stumbled slightly.

When she lowered her head, she saw blood flowing from her chest.

”Eh? This is... how...”

She murmured dazedly, collapsed onto the ground, struggling to turn around, her blurred vision only saw multiple fully armed figures slowly approaching.

”Found a high-risk Hybrid, execute.”

Identifying the Hybrid traits on her face, the young armed sergeant raised his weapon, aiming at her face.

”No, no, don’t kill her!”

The fearful screams echoed, within the ruins, JinJiang staggered up, shielded the teenage girl, and waved anxiously, ”She’s just a worker, knows nothing... she didn’t participate in the riot, I can testify, she has been protecting us... don’t kill her... I’m begging you... I’m begging you!”

The young sergeant froze, staring at the tearful, haggard face, halted on the spot.

But gunfire erupted behind him.

”Don’t waste time, B4, let’s go!”

By the convoy, the captain lowered his gun indifferently and then turned to leave.

JinJiang struggled to lower her head, seeing the bloodstains blooming on her chest, collapsing to the ground.

In the lengthy silence, Tomoko stared at her blankly, as if she hadn’t realized what had happened, her lips quivered, unable to produce sound, but when the cold blood spread to her feet, she finally understood.

”Mother...”

Tomoko suppressed her trembling, carefully touching her face, saw the haggard face forcing out a smile with difficulty.

”Am I going to die?”

She looked blankly at the gray Sky Dome, at her daughter’s tears, as if not understanding what had happened, but also seemingly relieved.

Finally, it was ending.

Though she had thought about it many times, now that it had truly arrived, she began to grieve, seeing her daughter cry, she regretted not trying harder.

Just like she always had, gnashing her teeth, persisting a bit longer, there was always a turning point, she could hold on.

Yet this time, she felt she couldn’t hold on.

”Living, is truly difficult...” she coughed violently, wanting to laugh but couldn’t resist the tears, ”Sorry, Tomoko, sorry, sorry...”

She wanted to apologize to Shen-kun, to Mr. Takahashi, wanted to console these kids not to be afraid, and wanted to say more.

She slowly closed her eyes, amidst the desperate cries.

Zhenxi blankly watched everything.

Feeling this world, once again becoming strange.

Unable to comprehend.

There were too many unclear matters in this world, too many inexplicable matters, after leaving Dàoquán Village, the outside world always seemed so fickle, not allowing her to slowly read and understand.

Everything became so cruel.

She hadn’t even reacted yet...

”But why on earth?!”

Zhenxi covered her face, choking with sobs, shouting in anger at those receding backs, ”Weren’t you here to kill me? Why...”
