Chapter 954: Chapter 753: Freedom_3

”It sounds quite polite.” He suddenly asked, ”How do you feel about this place?”

”It’s splendid and breathtaking, like an earthly paradise,” Huai Shi sincerely admired.

”Yes, indeed, in terms of food, clothing, and utilities, everything here is top-notch—the finest snowflake beef, the best beer, the best sauces, and the best oils, the world’s best chefs, and the best models and stars, the most loyal subordinates, endless wealth, and untold luxury and beauty.”

The little boy nodded in agreement, ”Even the height of the children’s dining chairs is just right; it’s effortless to sit in. It’s really enviable, so you should hurry and eat more too.”

It’s not just as the child said, but as far as Huai Shi knew: there were six other luxurious mansions like this one owned by the General all across Yingzhou—in Kyoto, Edo, Hiroshima, Nagasaki...

The most beautiful places in this country, with the most breathtaking and astonishing scenery, all belonged to the Lord General.

The mightiest samurai, the finest beauties, the most beautiful sceneries, all worldly splendors were naturally his possessions.

Even just thinking about it, one could imagine how extravagant and indulgent his life was every day, joyful beyond belief.

If it were in the past, Huai Shi would undoubtedly have been green with envy, drooling all over.

But now, he couldn’t bring himself to be envious even a little.

Because the person who possessed everything didn’t seem happy at all...

Once the world’s strongest at the Fifth Stage, just one step away from becoming the Owner of the Genealogy, he had lost everything in a high-stakes gamble, not only being banished from America but exiled to this remote island country. Furthermore, he was forcibly bound to the position of General by the former King of the White House, and from then on, tied to the fate of the country, he could only associate with these yellow-skinned monkeys he once never cared about...

He should have been the freest person in the world, yet he wasn’t free at all.

Who could understand such anger?

No matter how beautiful the scenery and how luxurious the indulgence, they were nothing more than the songs and dances in his cage, programs to relieve boredom in his long retirement.

Now, a group of insects had come before him, speaking of another group of insects oppressing them...

Why would he care?

During the conversation, Huai Shi silently sighed, finished the last bit of roast meat on his plate, stopped the attendant’s service, wiped his mouth, and stood up to bid farewell to the child beside him.

The meeting was over.

He had to leave.

”Come back often,” the child said goodbye without looking up, ”I quite like you, next time let’s play together again.”

”Maybe, if there’s a chance...”

Huai Shi politely smiled and approached the oncoming Tobio.

Tobio still had a smile on his face, showing no signs of anger or disappointment, he just declined other entertainments and turned away with Huai Shi.

Behind them, excited shouts echoed from the beach.

”Alright, the game begins!”

The blindfolded blond man raised two water guns and ran excitedly onto the beach, ”The Eagle is here, where are you, my little treasures?!”

The girls frantically dodged the water gun shots, covering their hit sensitive areas with coy screams, charming and fiery.

They looked so happy.

And outside this beautiful paradise, in the distant clear night sky, dark clouds were gradually gathering, blanketing the city’s lights.

It’s going to rain.
