The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Capítulo 1528: Chapter 1528: Popular Young Idol Follows Senior Brother

After the leading lady’s sister saved the little boy, the boy tried to hide himself, but he couldn’t escape the leading lady’s sister’s eyes. Upon questioning, she learned his true identity, leading to the storyline below.

Actually, this character does indeed need to exist, but there are many other ways to lead into the plot, and there’s no need to cast one more actor.

The director gave the choice to Chen Zi.

After reading the script and pondering for a moment, Chen Zi did not give a direct answer but politely said, “I’ll take the script back and let Little Taotie’s agent have a look.”

The director then remembered that this Mr. Chen was merely assisting Little Taotie; Little Taotie’s agent was actually the big boss Cheng.

“Alright, if you don’t need this role, I won’t let the screenwriter be capricious. If you think it’s necessary to add this role, the right to cast it is yours. I won’t use anyone you don’t approve of.”

“I always feel like the director is giving me a troublesome task.” Chen Zi joked with a smile.

The director smiled sheepishly, not denying it.

It’s still better for the child actors working with Little Taotie to be provided by Little Taotie’s own company. I heard that Chairman Cheng recruits people specifically to act alongside Little Taotie.

In the afternoon, Little Taotie put on makeup again. Seeing the freckled face in the mirror, Little Taotie covered his eyes, not wanting to look for even a second longer.

This look of “covering one’s ears to steal a bell” made the makeup artists in the room laugh.

…

The popular young idol absolutely did not believe that his elder brother didn’t pick up something. He even suspected that his elder brother had already accomplished his goal in seeking out Little Taotie this time, or else he wouldn’t have left so easily.

He just didn’t clearly see what was in his elder brother’s hand at the time, remembering that his elder brother was pinching something indiscernible with two fingers.

He didn’t part ways with his elder brother but instead invited him for a meal.

After all, his elder brother still had leverage over him, and he hadn’t thought about falling out with him yet.

Seeing his eyes fixed on his pocket, the elder brother had no mind to eat with him, only wanting to bring the strand of hair that could make him famous to find a master.

Many celebrities in the circle would pray and believe in certain things. He originally didn’t believe in it, but now he had no choice but to believe as there was no other option.

The popular young idol saw him refuse and didn’t insist, saying farewell gladly and suggesting to meet again sometime.

He stood at a distance watching his elder brother get into a car called through a ride-hailing app.

They took a car that his elder brother was familiar with on the way there, so he could only hail a cab.

Most people used ride-hailing apps, leading him to flag down two or three cars that were already booked. A red light stopped the car his elder brother was in, but it was about to turn green quickly.

After being refused multiple times, he was about to give up when a motorcycle driver on the nearby motor lane called out to him, “Hey there, in a hurry?”

“Can you give me a ride?”

“Sure, that’s my business. Where are you headed?”

“Just keep following that car in front,” he pointed at his elder brother’s car.

“Following? Are you catching someone cheating?”

“No more questions, you’ll be well paid as long as you follow without getting noticed.”

“Alright then, hop on quickly; the light’s about to turn green!”

Just as he got on the bike, the light turned green. Seeing his elder brother’s car drive away, he urged, “Hurry, follow them!”

“Alright, hold on tight!”

The motorcycle weaved through the traffic, soon catching up to the car, with the driver proudly lifting his head, “Not bad driving skills, huh!”
