The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 1517: Chapter 1517: Only Forced Down Can It Be Swallowed

The crew members tried hard to hold back their laughter; whoever dared to laugh would get a fierce glare from the director, who mouthed: Deduct wages!

Thus, humble employees, for the sake of their pay, even if it caused internal injuries, had to hold it in!

Little Taotie looked to the left and right, noticing everyone’s odd expressions. She quickly put away her proud little expression, her small face stiffened, and her brows furrowed.

Unbeknownst to her, this made it even funnier, as her freckles stood out more.

One cameraman almost couldn’t hold it in and burst into laughter, but luckily the leading actress came to the rescue. When the director saw the heroine arrive, he quickly shouted: ”Get ready! Get ready!”

Those staff who initially were on the verge of bursting into laughter now appeared completely normal. This is the professionalism of workers; once they start working, they are very serious, nothing can distract them.

”Action, record!”

This director is quite unique; he doesn’t like using foreign practices, why not just say ”Action, record” properly?

Upon hearing ’record,’ everyone entered work mode.

Little Taotie lay on the bed with her eyes closed, looking sickly, with her lips slightly drooping down revealing a touch of suffering.

She remembered the director uncle saying that pain is very uncomfortable, even when asleep the face shouldn’t look completely calm, but should show a hint of discomfort.

The camera focused on Little Taotie’s face, and upon seeing her subtle expression, the director couldn’t help but give a thumbs up thinking: Very talented!

The lead actress quickly got into character too, using a look of a stranger cast towards the little girl on the bed. Seeing the girl’s frail, pitiful appearance, feeling compassionate, sympathy flashed in her eyes, unable to look more she averted her gaze.

At this moment, there would be a section of psychological activity for the heroine. She is a time traveler, everyone here is unfamiliar to her; only the remaining memories of the original owner give her some sense of familiarity, but emotionally she still feels indifferent.

But someone born in the sunlight, seeing such a pitiful child, would inevitably feel sympathy and pity, even though she’s not the original owner’s biological sister, merely a passerby; she would still feel this compassion.

The director uncle homed in on the heroine’s subtle expressions, paused at her eyes, nodded thinking: This actress is quite good, good thing I didn’t listen to the investors about replacing her.

The second sister came over with the dark medicinal soup, ”Big sis, this was borrowed from Imperial Doctor Li on credit, quickly give it to the little sister!”

The heroine took the medicine bowl, frowning tightly: ”You want me to feed her?”

”Little sister fears bitterness, only big sis can force the medicine down, if we feed her she’ll just spit it out.” She lowered her head, somewhat afraid of this big sister, speaking timidly.

”How to force it down?” The heroine stood by the bed, somewhat awkwardly asked.

”Big sis always pinched little sister’s chin and poured it directly in.”

”This... wouldn’t it choke her?” The heroine’s brows furrowed further.

”It was always done that way before...”

”You better do it.” The heroine handed back the medicine.

”No no no, if I feed it will be wasted, we only managed to borrow this bowl of medicine, don’t waste it.”

The heroine was silent for a moment, seeing the little girl on the bed painfully furrowing her brows, slightly biting her lip, as if having a nightmare.

”Wake up.” She tried waking the little girl, hoping she’d drink it herself.

”If she doesn’t drink the medicine, she’s afraid she won’t wake up,” the second sister said in a small voice.

The heroine sighed, she could only choose to feed the medicine, though she’s never fed medicine before, but everything has a first time.

She didn’t want to force it down like the original owner did; seeing there was a wooden spoon in the bowl, she attempted to feed it spoon by spoon. But after one spoonful, the medicinal soup started sliding out from the little girl’s mouth.

The second sister beside murmured with a bitter face: ”Finished, finished, wasted a spoonful.”

”So it can only be forced down?” The heroine sighed: ”Then excuse me.”

The heroine pinched the little girl’s chin, opened her mouth, and poured the medicine down.

Little Taotie was forced to swallow, feeling a bit uncomfortable, but still persisted to finish the scene well.

Until the director shouted: ”Great, that’s a wrap!”

Little Taotie opened her eyes and sat up, suppressing a cough, the heroine and second sister rushed over to pat her back.

Director uncle handed over a cup of warm plain water walking over to Little Taotie, concerned asked: ”Drink some water to soothe, feeling better?”
