The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 1516: Chapter 1516: Precisely Handling Xiao Zaizai

Little Taotie ran with her little face covered, wanting to find a bathroom to wash her face, but unexpectedly bumped into the urging director uncle coming her way.

Little Taotie bumped her nose, covered the bridge of her nose, and stared in shock with her eyes wide open, ready to run away, but was picked up by the director uncle, ”Oh my, whose little pockmarked child is this?”

Little Taotie: ”...”

”Little Taotie, you’re so heavy.” The director uncle quickly put her down after just a brief hug.

Actually, he had long wanted to hug this little cutie, thinking she was soft and doll-like, but when he really hugged her, he realized she was like a shot put! To lift her up required some arm strength!

With all that loose flesh, the somewhat slim director uncle admitted he didn’t have the strength for it.

Little Taotie: ”...”

If it weren’t for seeing flowers blooming on the director uncle’s head, Little Taotie might have thought he was mocking her out of dislike!

Little Taotie huffed, ”I’m going to the restroom to remove my makeup, goodbye director uncle.”

She waved her little hand and was about to run away, but the director uncle blocked her path.

”Don’t! The makeup is just right, this is the effect we want!”

Little Taotie: ”...”

She didn’t want to act anymore!

She remembered what Xiao Lingzhi had said: ”Girlfriend, we need to be more mindful of our image in the future, and accept roles that show us beautifully, never those ugly ones.”

At the time, Little Taotie was puzzled: ”Why?”

Xiao Lingzhi, with a face full of experienced wisdom, explained: ”I debuted earlier than you did; I started acting long ago. You know my agent isn’t very reliable. Before I had a sense of independent self-image, he took the liberty of accepting many roles for me. One of them was a role as a beggar’s daughter, and I looked so ugly! My hair seemed like it hadn’t been washed in hundreds of days, greasy and messy, my face covered in mud, wearing a beggar outfit, so ugly! There’s someone in my class who doesn’t get along with me and even found photos from that time to mock me whenever they have nothing to do! This black history, I want to hide it but can’t!”

Little Taotie felt that her current protruding cheekbones and pockmarked face would also become a black history she wished to hide!

To avoid making such black history, Little Taotie wanted to quickly remove her makeup!

Seeing he couldn’t persuade her otherwise, the director put on a stern face, pretending to be angry: ”Little Taotie, this is not right. As an actor, you’re no longer yourself; you are this character. You must devote emotion, devote everything to this character! You must heartfully perform this character well, you can’t be so squeamish!”

Squeamish!!!

Hearing the word squeamish, Little Taotie pursed her lips, her eyes reddening.

The director uncle, who was pretending to be angry to scare the little girl, noticed Little Taotie’s reddened eyes and got anxious, quickly squatting down to comfort her: ”Don’t cry, otherwise people might think I’m bullying you!”

The director uncle looked around sneakily, fearing someone might pass by and see them.

Little Taotie held back tears, the little girl clenched her little fists, looking as if she had been provoked, fiercely but cutely declaring, ”I’m not a squeamish little girl!”

She felt the word ”squeamish” was an insult to herself!

She was determined to be like Her Highness the Eldest Princess, a dashing Great General!

The director was taken aback, not expecting the casual use of the word ”squeamish” to provoke the little girl.

Ah! This strategy of provoking Little Taotie works well!

The director felt he found a way to manipulate Little Taotie!

The director uncle smiled knowingly: ”How could our Little Taotie be a squeamish little girl? Only those squeamish little girls rely on their looks; we rely on substance to make a living! Those freckles on your face? Even if it’s painted pitch black, it wouldn’t diminish our might, right?”

Little Taotie shouted in her cute voice: ”Right!”

Coming over to find Little Taotie, Chen Zi heard the conversation between the director and Little Taotie, and his mouth involuntarily twitched slightly.

Little Taotie stomped valiantly toward the filming location, striding with an attitude like she didn’t recognize friends or relatives, confidently lowering the hand covering her face, boldly showing off her protruding cheekbones with the pockmarked face, wearing a proud expression as if her sacrifice for art was righteous and honorable!

Chen Zi: ”...”

Well... how to say, this director has some skills.
