The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 1366: Chapter 1366: Don’t Let Her Bother Us

The Assistant Director saw Gu Yixing and Little Taotie coming and wanted to greet them. But before he could, he noticed Jiang Jingjing had already clung to them.

From a hundred meters away, the director darted over like an arrow to break it up.

”Jiang Jingjing, Boss Li is visiting the set. He’s about to arrive, so go and greet him.”

Jiang Jingjing paused with an expression of annoyance.

This old man comes at the worst time. I was so close to getting close to Top Gu!

Helplessly, Jiang Jingjing had to make a choice. Eventually, she chose Boss Li, and with a familiar smile, she said to Little Taotie and Gu Yixing, ”Brother Gu, Little Taotie, I’ll be off then. See you in a bit.”

Once Jiang Jingjing left, the Assistant Director sighed in relief.

This Jiang Jingjing was forcibly added by the investor Boss Li. If not for the investment, he would have replaced her long ago. She tries to latch onto anyone famous. It’s not just today with Top Gu; even yesterday with that minor internet celebrity, she was all over, calling him ’brother’ nonstop. It’s fake and totally noise.

Though the Assistant Director silently cursed her in his heart, he still put on a friendly smile: ”Top Gu, Little Taotie, hello, I’m the Assistant Director for opening the restaurant. In our cooperation time ahead, if you encounter any trouble, you can find me to solve it.”

”There’s already a trouble,” Gu Yixing hinted: ”I don’t want any scandals, do you understand what I mean?”

The Assistant Director awkwardly laughed, ”She wouldn’t dare, she’s already gone to meet Boss Li, right?”

Gu Yixing understood.

This so-called Boss Li is most likely that woman’s sponsor.

A woman with a sponsor may be indiscreet in behavior, but she wouldn’t make it openly known.

”Don’t let her bother me and my sister, you understand?”

The Assistant Director wiped non-existent sweat, ”Boss Li is the investor; people can’t be changed.”

”That’s your problem,” Gu Yixing said, holding Little Taotie as he walked towards the van.

The message was clear: with this woman here, they might need to reconsider the collaboration.

Actually, this was behaving like a diva, but Top Gu had the right to act like one.

The Assistant Director was counting on him to bring some traffic, making this low-regarded small show shine.

Plus, with Little Taotie’s renowned ”Little God of Wealth” aura in the industry, he couldn’t bear to give up these two big stars for one investor.

Now it was the Assistant Director’s time to choose.

The Assistant Director hadn’t expected such trouble would arise just as filming was about to start.

If he drove Jiang Jingjing away, Boss Li would surely get angry and withdraw the investment, leaving the show with less funding, and today’s shooting couldn’t start due to the lack of a guest.

A headache!

The Assistant Director held his forehead, extremely irritated, how could Jiang Jingjing not behave, angering Top Gu on the first day.

The Assistant Director was worried sick, so he called over a think tank from the program team to figure something out. The old guys smoked and worried like crazy.

Suddenly, the lighting technician slapped his forehead, ”I’ve got an idea!”

The Assistant Director looked skeptical, ”A win-win strategy?”

The lighting technician nodded eagerly, ”Absolutely win-win!”

The Assistant Director: ”Let’s hear it. If it’s a good idea, I’ll give you a bonus!”

The lighting technician rubbed his hands and showed a cunning smile, ”Replacing a guest is faster. Replacing an investor is more complicated with many time-consuming follow-up issues. Boss Li is lecherous, easy to get new and forget the old. If we replace Jiang Jingjing with someone he likes and is willing to spend money on, wouldn’t that work?”

”Easier said than done,” the Assistant Director didn’t think this was a good idea. If you replace her with a good girl, what if she’s not willing? It’s like pushing someone into the fire pit.
