The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Capítulo 1364: Chapter 1364: Little Taotie Becomes a Little Boss

Cheng Guodong paused his gesture of flipping through the pages, just holding an invitation from a culinary show.

It’s a reality show about running a restaurant, but different from some previous shows where opening a restaurant was all about meeting profitability goals.

The restaurant has chefs and helpers, they’re not guests, but actual workers.

What the guests have to do is what a real boss would consider: how to boost the restaurant’s performance so that even after the guest leaves, the restaurant on the brink of bankruptcy can revive its business and continue developing in the long term.

Each guest will temporarily become the restaurant’s owner, competing based on the performance of the restaurant they manage.

The participating restaurants include those on the brink of bankruptcy as well as those already very successful, and everything depends on drawing lots to decide which restaurant to temporarily manage as an agency boss.

The competition is based on the percentage increase in the restaurant’s performance.

Some may think it’s too easy for a restaurant that’s already booming to make money, but that’s not really the case. Because the performance is already booming, the base number is high, maybe the daily turnover reaches 1 million, correspondingly, to increase the percentage, the earning has to be more; if the daily earnings are 1.01 million, it’s only a 1% increase.

However, for a restaurant near bankruptcy, its daily turnover is very low, perhaps only 10,000 to 20,000, so if they earn 10,000 more, it’s a 100% increase, far surpassing the already booming restaurant.

So, no matter which restaurant is drawn, there’s a chance to win and also a chance to lose miserably.

Little Taotie listened to Cheng Guodong’s introduction, blinked her big round eyes, and asked in confusion, “Can I eat something delicious?”

She felt that as a little boss, she should set an example and shouldn’t eat anything from the restaurant casually, as it might leave a bad impression.

“Of course, it’s your restaurant, you can certainly eat.”

Little Taotie hesitated, “Wouldn’t that be inappropriate? What if the staff follows my example, I should set an example.”

Cheng Guodong didn’t expect his sister to have such thoughts.

Cheng Guodong laughed, “I have quite a few restaurants myself, I never pay when I eat there, I eat whatever I want, don’t even wait for a table.”

If a restaurant you own requires you to wait for a table and pay money, and set so many rules against yourself, what’s the fun in that?

Maybe some restaurants treat everyone equally, but those aren’t personal restaurants, most are joint ventures or have many friends investing, so the books need to be clear, that’s why there are so many rules.

Little Taotie seemed to understand and then not, “I’ll give it a try. If when I’m eating, the staff looks at me with strange eyes, then I won’t eat.”

“Big brother, I have a huge appetite.”

He even imagined that someday, Little Taotie might want to fully engage in Mysticism, or fully commit to the Special Department, completely saying goodbye to showbiz, and disappear from the public eye, wondering what strategy to take.

Being shut down due to others, unable to find past works, this celebrity will also disappear in the long history, the entertainment industry renews quickly.

Those who used to chase stars will, due to growing up, be pressured by study, work, family, and lose the passion for star chasing, and those who reach the age for star chasing will pursue a new batch of idols…

As for the current company, if Little Taotie wants to be a female boss CEO, he will gift it to Little Taotie.
