The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 806: Chapter 806: The Director Gets No Food

The director was surprised, ”Why don’t you want to act? It’s a big production, even the smallest roles are in high demand. I heard from Xiao Yang that the role of Little Fox has quite a lot of scenes and is very likable.”

”I don’t like foxes,” Little Taotie said, looking down, feeling glum.

When Cheng Guodong arrived, he saw the director talking alone with his sister. After just a few words, his sister was unhappily lowering her head.

Cheng Guodong marched over, shielding his sister completely, his eyes fierce as he glared at the director, just like a protective wolf leader.

The director felt his heart skip a beat and stammered, ”No... no, it’s not what you think!”

”You’re bullying my sister.”

”No, no, no! I really wasn’t!”

Cheng Guodong pointed to his own eyes, ”I saw with both of my eyes that my sister was unhappy after talking to you.”

The director was extremely aggrieved, ”Zaizai, save me!”

Hearing his plea for help, Little Taotie peeked out from behind her big brother’s wide back, looking puzzled at his back, feeling that her big brother seemed much stronger!

If Cheng Guodong heard his sister’s thoughts, he would surely happily tell her about his recent fitness progress!

Little Taotie said in a childish voice, ”Big brother, the director didn’t bully me. He was just telling me about a suitable role he wanted me to play, but I didn’t like it and don’t want to act.”

”If you don’t want to act, then we won’t.”

The director wiped his sweat away, relieved that Chairman Cheng’s scary gaze finally moved elsewhere.

The director hesitated for a moment, but decided to speak up, ”It’s a big production, the role is quite good, it’s a charming little fox...”

Cheng Guodong’s sharp gaze swept over, making the director’s voice catch.

Cheng Guodong coldly said, ”If my sister doesn’t like the role, no matter how likable it is, we won’t do it.”

Little Taotie stuck her tongue out at the director, ”Don’t like foxes!”

The director’s fans were too naggy today; he’s already said he doesn’t like foxes! Hmph! Big brother is the best!

Little Taotie clung to her big brother’s leg, saying in a baby voice, ”Big brother, you’re the best~”

Cheng Guodong happily awaited his sister’s kiss.

Unfortunately, this time his sister didn’t give one.

Cheng Guodong held his sister’s hand and led her aside to rest. The props team was still setting up the scene, which would take some time, so Little Taotie had a long time to rest.

Cheng Guodong’s assistant ran over, carrying bags in his hands.

Little Taotie’s eyes lit up at the smell, ”All good food!”

Cheng Guodong threw away her empty milk tea cup with disdain, ”Milk tea and cake are unhealthy, you should eat proper meals.”

The assistant deftly set up a folding table and arranged a table full of delicacies!

The aroma wafted around, making the crew’s stomachs growl!

”Big brother, should we invite everyone to join us?”

”Don’t worry, these are all for you.” Cheng Guodong gave the assistant a look.

The assistant went back to the car, carrying more bags, handing out packed boxes to the crew one by one.

When it was the director’s turn, the assistant perfectly skipped over him.

The director was bewildered, ”Me? None?”

The assistant ignored him and continued distributing the boxes to the photographers.

The director couldn’t believe it, ”Me? Really nothing for me?”

The assistant walked away.

The director watched him leave, almost in tears.

Chairman Cheng was so stingy! Wasn’t I being considerate? The Little Fox role is really good!

The director’s little eyes drifted towards the photographers’ packed boxes, and they immediately turned their backs to him, not letting him see.

”You guys are so disloyal, if each of you give me a spoonful, I could be full too!”
