The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 805: Chapter 805: Not Playing the Little Fox

Little Taotie let out a sigh of relief.

She wasn’t sure if this meant it was resolved.

Maybe... it’s settled?

Director: ”Some scenes need to be re-shot. You’ll have to come with me; we might have to stay up all night, the show is about to air.”

Little Taotie blinked, ”Okay!”

”Your agent...” The director rubbed his hands, a bit troubled.

Actually, he’s a little scared of Cheng Guodong, afraid of getting scolded.

Little Taotie said in her soft voice, ”I’ll talk to Big Brother!”

...

Cheng Guodong saw the dishes on the table had gone cold and called Gu Bei, ”Why haven’t you come back yet?”

Gu Bei hesitated, ”Well...” Not daring to say that Little Taotie was filming overnight.

Little Taotie took a break and ran over to take the phone, softly calling, ”Big Brother~”

Upon hearing his sister’s sweet voice, Cheng Guodong broke into a smile, ”Why aren’t you back yet? Are you hungry?”

”I’ve already had a lot of cakes and milk tea, not too hungry now.” Little Taotie sighed, softly saying, ”Big Brother, I’m not coming home tonight, don’t miss me too much~”

”Not coming back?” Cheng Guodong stood up, ”What’s going on?”

”Big Brother, don’t worry, there’s something I need to re-shoot, it’s my own doing, so I have to finish it!”

”You’re still young, you shouldn’t stay up all night!”

”Big Brother, I want to film.”

”I’ll come pick you up.” Cheng Guodong’s tone was serious.

Little Taotie murmured, ”Don’t come, even if you do, I won’t go home with you.”

”Then I’ll just carry you away.”

”Big Brother!”

”Give the phone to Gu Bei.”

”I’m angry,” Little Taotie huffed, ”I’ll go see Grandpa Fensi if I’m angry!”

Cheng Guodong: ”...”

Calming down, he thought of the Tao Family who always wanted to take Little Taotie away, and softened his tone, ”I still have to come. I need to watch over you; I won’t take you away, okay? I’ll stay up with you.”

”Hehe...”

On the other end of the phone came Little Taotie’s mischievous giggle.

Cheng Guodong gave up, sighed, ”I’ve spoiled you too much, now you’re bold enough to threaten me.”

Little Taotie chirped in a soft voice, ”Big Brother, you’re the best! Muah~”

Being muah-ed by his sister~~~

Cheng Guodong was over the moon, the bouquet on his head wildly growing, blooming, and swaying!

...

In front of the green screen, Little Taotie cutely kicked the air, ”Hurry up and change! I want to live in a sci-fi movie, the kind with grand houses!”

The voice of the dubbing actor came through, the voice of the Ancient Castle: ”I cannot.”

Little Taotie ran into the air angrily, grabbed the tablet, and started watching a sci-fi movie with the Ancient Castle, ”Like this, is it handsome or cool?”

The Ancient Castle marveled, ”Too cool! Let me watch for a while longer, after more watching, I’ll be able to change! It’s too good!”

”Perfect!” The director shouted, ”Great job, Zaizai acted really well!”

This kind of non-physical filming, not to mention kids, even adults struggle to get it right in one take.

Little Taotie skipped over to the director’s side, and he handed her a cup of milk tea, ”Zaizai, you have a real gift for acting. Do you remember Yang Lusi?”

Little Taotie thought for a moment, then nodded, ”The sister who smiles really beautifully.”

That sister had a sunflower blooming on her head, radiating a sunny and sweet aura.

The director nodded, ”Yes, her smile is famous in the industry. Her new show exploded, and she’s very grateful to the program team. You worked with her before, and she thought you had real acting talent. Since her new show was a hit, her next step is moving to the big screen, and there’s a role she thinks suits you. She wants to contact your agent to see if you could play it.”

”What role?”

”An innocent little fox.”

”No way!” Upon hearing the word ”fox,” Little Taotie became very averse, perhaps due to the influence of a previous dream.
