The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 750: Chapter 750: What Goes Around Comes Around

Little Taotie recalled that during the interrogation, the youth had mentioned coconut shoes.

——Taking a deep breath, the youth closed his eyes as if falling into a memory and muttered, ”I peered through the crack of the door and saw that person with their back to me, using the toilet.”

——”He was wearing a pair of coconut shoes, a kind I’m quite fond of, but I haven’t saved enough pocket money to buy them. They’re limited edition; I might mistake a person, but I would never mistake those shoes.”

Little Taotie’s brows furrowed slightly, her eyes narrowed, her brain whirring rapidly.

Suddenly, her eyes widened in disbelief.

”It was because of the coconut shoes, because the youth wanted the coconut shoes but was refused. The youth thought if he killed him, he could get the coconut shoes! Or, destroy them!”

”Right, it connects with the first case! The maid in the first case was the same, if she couldn’t have it, then she’d destroy it!”

Little Taotie nodded her head in sudden realization, ”The director is so meticulous, huh!”

Mo Haihao, curious, asked, ”What director? What does this case have to do with a director?”

Little Taotie told him about her participation in a detective show and shared the profound intentions behind the director filming this program.

Upon hearing this, a look of admiration flashed in Mo Haihao’s eyes, ”He has indeed put a lot of thought into it.”

Little Taotie asked, ”Am I right?”

Mo Haihao sighed, ”You’re right. The Spiritual Body of the deceased told me that he locked the stall door as soon as he entered the toilet stall, trying to call the police and bide time by hiding there.”

”But as soon as he took out his phone, he heard someone ask him if he was calling the police?”

”When he turned around, he realized there was someone else in the stall.”

”Although it was just a youth, together they stood a chance. The deceased asked the youth for help, and the youth proposed a bargain with the coconut shoes – take them off now and give them to him, and he would be willing to lend a hand.”

”Those shoes were a wedding anniversary gift from the deceased’s wife, and he did not agree. Who knew that the youth would suddenly attack him? He was killed, and his Spiritual Body lingered nearby. He saw the youth initially wanted to take off his shoes, but after they got damaged during the struggle and some blood spattered on them, he put them back on instead of taking them away.”

”However, before putting them back on, he turned the shoes over and vigorously rubbed them with blood and dirt on the ground, completely ruining them.”

”The deceased understood the youth’s plot with the man, the youth told the man that he had a way to make them both walk free.”

”At first, the man didn’t believe it; he thought he was only guilty of assault and the youth was the murderer. Telling the truth, he’d only face a few years in prison at most.”

”But the youth raised a knife and threatened him, saying that if he didn’t comply, the youth could kill one or even two people; more debt didn’t weigh heavy on him.”

”The man was frightened, but he still did not agree, thinking that as long as the youth was pinned for the murder, he’d be sitting in jail with no time to kill him.”

”But the youth told him that he wasn’t even 14 yet and had plenty of time to carry out his plan to kill him.”

”After hearing the youth’s plan, the man thought it was feasible, and he might walk free; after all, he didn’t want to be imprisoned for assault. But most importantly, he feared the youth, especially when the youth said he could kill one or even two, his eyes were too twisted.”

”The man believed that if he didn’t do as the youth said, death awaited him. He felt certain the youth would kill him, and so he was extraordinarily compliant with the youth’s plan.”

Mo Haihao crunched the watermelon-flavored candy in his mouth, ”Without the existence of the Special Department, this kid indeed could have gotten off scot-free, and who knows what he would do when he grew up.”

Listening to the captain’s exposition, Little Taotie’s gaze fell on the last four words of the file — Fell From a Height.

”How did he fall from a height? Is he dead?”

”Not dead, but insane,” Mo Haihao shrugged. ”Since he played with the law, thinking he was supremely clever and could deceive everyone, the Special Department had to teach him a lesson — justice is vast and inescapable; as men sow, so shall they reap.”
