The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 702: Chapter 702: A Train Carriage Full of Giant Lobsters

Little Taotie’s eyes gleamed like searchlights brightening up the night sky, astonishingly bright.

”Sis, you’re not lying?”

”I’m an honest person, I don’t like to lie, especially not to children.”

”Sis, pinky promise!”

”Alright.”

Then, the female chef profoundly regretted the thing she had agreed to so readily.

She stood behind a cargo container’s trailer, which was open, revealing box after box of—huge lobsters!

The female chef swallowed, her heart trembling, ”Do all of these... have to be cooked?”

Little Taotie nodded her little head, extremely happy, ”Sis, hurry up, I’m so hungry~”

”Are you sure? You can eat all that?” the female chef’s gaze fell on Little Taotie’s flat stomach, doubting that this little belly could handle it without bursting.

Little Taotie straightened her back, no one could underestimate her appetite, she raised her little head, full of confidence, ”I can finish them, without leaving a single one!”

Female Chef: ”...”

She cleared her throat and noticed a passing director, quickly stepping forward to stop him, saying to Little Taotie, ”I still need to shoot the show, I really don’t have any free time...”

However, the director interrupted her, ”The filming is delayed, the weather isn’t great, we’ll shoot tomorrow.”

The female chef looked bewildered, looking up at the clear sky and the blazing sun, puzzled, ”Aren’t we filming inside a greenhouse? Even if not in the greenhouse, do you think this weather is bad?”

The director looked up at the sky reluctantly and said, ”Too much sunlight can cause overexposure, which makes the quality of the footage poor. Originally, it was all supposed to be filmed inside the greenhouse, but the plan suddenly changed, we are going to shoot outdoors tomorrow.”

The female chef, lacking expertise in this area and since the director was the professional, had no choice but to believe whatever he said, unable to argue.

Little Taotie tugged at her sleeve, ”Sis, are you free now?”

What other reason could she give to say she was busy?

The female chef looked at the cargo of huge lobsters and then at Little Taotie’s eager eyes, those eyes filled with anticipation, as if shimmering with countless tiny stars.

She relented, ”I’m free now.”

Little Taotie cheered, ”Great, there are big lobsters to eat!”

Female Chef: ”Don’t force yourself, if you can’t eat anymore, just say it.”

Little Taotie confidently, ”I won’t get too full.”

The female chef didn’t believe it at all, her skeptical gaze measuring her but saying nothing.

As the female chef was cooking the lobster in three different ways, the director made a call, ”Chairman Cheng, everything has been done according to your instructions, the shooting is delayed, we will shoot tomorrow.”

Cheng Guodong’s satisfied laughter came through, ”Very good, I will increase the investment by 20%.”

”Thank you, Chairman Cheng!”

After hanging up the phone, the director passed by the cargo truck driver, overhearing the driver report on the phone, ”Boss Qin, rest assured, the goods have been delivered, all very fresh.”

...

The female chef mechanically cooked the lobsters, she had already lost count of how many she had cooked.

She had become numb!

All of her movements, so practiced, had become second nature.

She looked at Little Taotie, who ate gracefully yet had an astonishing appetite, almost hallucinating that sitting there wasn’t a cute and pretty little girl, but a real Taotie Behemoth, with a prodigious appetite that could swallow mountains, rivers, and worlds.

Little Taotie ate with her cheeks puffed, happily squinting her crescent eyes, Little Dimple slightly indented, her little face radiating joy.

Seeing the little girl enjoying her meal, the female chef couldn’t help but smile.

Having one’s cooking appreciated, enjoyed, and anticipated is a very pleasant thing.

Even though she was very tired, she felt happy inside.
