The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 347: Chapter 347 All Are My Cup of Tea Chapter 347: Chapter 347 All Are My Cup of Tea When everyone heard the noise, they hurried over to find Little Taotie sitting on the ground crying, with her little mouth bright red and smeared with chili sauce, her little tongue stuck out like an overheated little puppy, huffing and puffing.

The nanny picked up a bottle of chili sauce that had fallen to the ground, and the bottle had five big characters written on it–Devil’s Chili Sauce!

Cheng Guodong stepped forward, took it, and reminisced, “This was given to me by a friend, who said it was the spiciest chili in the world. I thought it was interesting, so I brought it home.”

Qin Xin picked up his sister to comfort her, “Now that you’ve eaten the spiciest chili sauce in the world, if you can overcome it, it means you’ll never be afraid of spicy food again!”

With tears smeared all over her face, Little Taotie’s tongue was numb as she lisped, “Is that true?”

“Of course, if you can overcome the Devil’s chili, then there won’t be any chili that can make you feel it’s spicy.”

Hua Jinyan brought over a bottle of milk, “Quickly drink some milk to relieve the spiciness.”

Little Taotie took the milk and gulped down the entire bottle.

She stuck out her tongue and wrinkled her little face into a bun, “It’s still so spicy!”

Hua Jinyan ran back with another bottle of milk and handed it to her. Little Taotie gulped it down again. This went on and on until after seven bottles, she finally came to her senses, speaking more clearly, “It’s too spicy, I thought I was going to die from the heat!”

Hua Jinyan chuckled, “Who told you to sneak into the kitchen and eat?”

Little Taotie gazed at Hua Jinyan with her red, teary eyes, looking as innocent and pitiful as could be.

Hua Jinyan cleared his throat, “What I mean is, you should have told the nanny that you wanted to learn to eat spicy food, starting with the mildest bell peppers, and gradually work your way up, instead of starting with the spiciest one.”

That made Little Taotie feel even more wronged.

It was all because the nanny would only give her a tiny bit of chili, refusing to give her any more!

The nanny came over to hold Little Taotie, consoling her, “It’s Auntie’s fault for not hiding this bottle of chili sauce properly. I should have let you try chili gradually, instead of stopping you, which led you to such an extreme approach.”

Little Taotie nestled in the nanny’s arms, her voice milky, “I want to try other chilis.”

The nanny quickly brought over a lantern chili and handed her a small slice.

Little Taotie took a bite, found it juicy and not spicy at all, and without realizing it, she ate several slices.

Next came a slightly longer green chili.

After one bite, Little Taotie’s eyes sparkled, “I really am not afraid of spicy food anymore!”

The Auntie brought over a bottle of chili sauce.

Little Taotie instinctively stepped back, the aftereffects of the previous Devil’s Chili Sauce still fresh-just seeing the chili sauce reminded her of that suffocating heat, numbed tongue, and breathlessness.

“This isn’t Devil’s Chili Sauce; it’s a homemade chili sauce I made with just the ordinary sky-facing chilis.”

The nanny took a careful dab of the chili sauce with chopsticks.

“Want to try some?”

Little Taotie looked at the chopsticks, at the white tips with just a little bit of red.

Little Taotie stuck out her tongue and licked it off.

She closed her eyes, waiting for the numbing spiciness to hit her, waiting for her tongue to go numb and her body to begin sweating.

After a long wait, it didn’t come.

Her eyes, which were filled with fear, suddenly lit up; she blinked, her eyes sparkling, her mouth smacking as she savored the spicy fragrance in her mouth.

“Want more?” the nanny asked tentatively.

Little Taotie nodded vigorously.

The nanny, worried that eating it plain would make her too salty, also brought some milk-flavored buns for her to dip in the chili sauce.

Little Taotie ate more and more happily, and soon the plate was empty.

“It seems you really are not afraid of spice anymore,” Hua Jinyan said.

Little Taotie let out a cheer, “I’ve conquered the chili!”

–Humph! I am a descendant of Taotie; what in this world can I not eat! Everything is my feast!
