The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 309: Chapter 309 I Won’t Bother with Them Chapter 309: Chapter 309 I Won’t Bother with Them In the evening, Cheng Guodong visited Little Taotie’s room and found her hugging her smartphone while scrolling through TikTok.

Cheng Guodong: “…”

He silently walked up to Little Taotie and stood there for quite a long time, but she didn’t even glance up at him, her eyes seemingly glued to TikTok–already a member of the head-down tribe despite her young age.

Cheng Guodong cleared his throat, which finally caught Little Taotie’s attention.

“Brother, look, this is so fun!”

Cheng Guodong sat next to her and looked at the phone screen.

On the screen, a boy was stacking books in two piles, leaving a gap in the middle before placing a piece of paper across the two as if it were a bridge.

When he placed objects on it, the thin piece of paper obviously couldn’t hold up, and with the items, it fell down.

That’s when the boy spoke, “How can a single sheet of paper become a bridge and support a smartphone?”

Then he asked with a smile, “Have you ever folded paper fans?”

“Just like folding a paper fan, you fold the paper into a hundred pleats. Look, this is how it’s done!”

He showed off his folded paper which looked layered like an accordion.

He placed the folded paper on the two piles of books, turning it into a little bridge once again.

This time he took out a smartphone. The weight of the phone would definitely be too much for the paper.

Surprisingly though, the phone was steady and held up!

The phone rested on the paper, showing no sign of “collapsing.”

Originally, Cheng Guodong wanted to have a talk with Little Taotie and educate her not to scroll through TikTok all day, not to stare at her phone constantly, as it’s not good for her eyes.

But now, seeing that the content Little Taotie was interested in was actually about physics, he was rather amazed.

This was acquiring knowledge! It couldn’t be stopped!

It should even be encouraged!

“If you find it so interesting, how about I hire a teacher to teach you some fun experiments?”

Little Taotie: “…”

Scrolling through TikTok versus sitting down and listening to a teacher giving a serious lecture… she chooses TikTok!

Little Taotie pursed her lips, remained silent, and her face was filled with rejection.

Cheng Guodong didn’t pursue the matter further and instead brought up something important, “The Flower of the Other Shore sweater you designed–the children’s clothing company wants to start a separate company to sell them, as couples’ wear doesn’t really match with their children’s line.”

“Really? Open a company just to sell them?”

“Yes, a company specializing in this kind of sweaters, targeting couples’ wear as the main product.”

“That’s great!” Little Taotie tilted her head, her voice filled with longing, “All the clothes designed by me, I think I’m really awesome!”

The twinkling stars in her eyes made Cheng Guodong laugh, he asked, “Would you like to be the chief designer?”

“I designed them with the nanny!”

“Yes, you and she will become the chief designers of the company together.”

“Then sure!” Little Taotie’s eyes curved into a smile.

The little girl was still too naive! Cheng Guodong sighed, “But this way, people might slander you. Many won’t believe that a six-year-old can design clothes. Some might even suspect that someone else is designing for you.”

“But… it’s all my own ideas!” Little Taotie blinked, her eyes full of confusion. If she designed them herself, why would people doubt her?

“The human heart is inscrutable, and there are always those who make trouble out of nothing. As a public figure in the spotlight, you will always be under scrutiny. Jealousy can make people ugly, and the smarter and more talented you are, the more jealous people will attack and doubt you and their crazy.”

“But facts are facts, their doubt is futile.” Little Taotie said in a muffled voice, “I don’t care about them! They are all bad people!”
