The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 322: Chapter 322: The Neat Freak and the Little Miser Chapter 322: Chapter 322: The Neat Freak and the Little Miser Little Taotie muttered to herself, not wanting to condone such uncivilized behavior, but seeing how he couldn’t hold it any longer, she huffed, “This time I’ll let it slide, but you can’t do this again in the future!”

“Okay, okay, just turn around quickly!”

Little Taotie wanted to run off a distance, but he grabbed her sleeve, “Don’t go far. This place is eerie, and if you wander off, I might not be able to find you when I turn around. Just stand here and turn your back, that’s all.”

Little Taotie: “…”

The boy rubbed his hands together, put them together in a praying gesture, “Please!”

Little Taotie covered her little nose, then let go, covered her little ears as though she wished she could grow another pair of hands to cover both her nose and ears at the same time. The disdain was openly apparent.

The boy’s ears turned red, and he coughed awkwardly, “Just covering your ears is fine.”

Little Taotie paid him no mind, took a small mask out of her pocket, put it on, and then firmly covered her ears, turned her back, and said in a muffled voice, “You can start.”

Boy: “…”

The little boy completed his “big business” with his face beet red the whole time.

“I’m done,” the boy said.

But the little girl didn’t respond for a long time. The boy looked at her hands covering her ears and wondered to himself how tightly she was covering them. Did she really find it that disgusting?

The boy walked up and patted her shoulder. Little Taotie came back to her senses, looked at him after she lowered her hands from her ears, and asked, “You’re done?”

The boy nodded.

Little Taotie stared intently at the hand he had just used to pat her, asking, “You didn’t wash your hands, and you touched me.”

Boy: “…”

Little Taotie frowned, clearly upset.

The boy made a bitter face, “I was wrong.”

Little Taotie was still huffy. She took a wet wipe from her pocket, first wiped the spot on her shoulder he had touched, then handed him the used wet wipe, “Clean it properly!”

At such a young age, she exhibited her germaphobia to the fullest!

The boy thoroughly wiped his hands with the remaining wet wipe, then pointed to the iron gate not far away, “The exit is over there.”

Little Taotie followed his pointing, “There was clearly no exit before, how did it suddenly appear?”

The little boy’s leg was broken, and he was now on his knees in a pitiful state. He looked towards a puddle of “water” not far away and said softly, “It’s because I took care of business there.”

Little Taotie didn’t understand, but seeing there was an exit, naturally, she couldn’t delay. She carried the boy on her back and rushed towards the doorway.

Previously, Little Taotie had sneaked in, so she had squeezed in through the gap between the railings. Now, she simply broke the locked chain with her bare hands, opened the gate, and ran out with the boy on her back.

Although she had chased Kitty all the way here, she still remembered the scenery she passed along the way, so she planned to run back home. But thinking of the boy on her back, she stopped and asked, “I should take you to the police station first!”

The boy shook his head, “I don’t want to go to the police station, I’m so hungry.”

Little Taotie hesitantly suggested, “Then come to my house. We have delicious food; you can eat your fill before we go to the police station.”

The boy murmured, “Okay.”

As if he thought of something, the boy looked towards the passing bus stop and called out to Little Taotie, “Stop running, let’s take the bus.”

“Why take the bus? I know the way, it’s just a 30-something minute run to my house!”

“Look at the Footprints on the ground.”

Little Taotie looked down, then turned to look at the ground again. The area was very worn, and the ground seemed to have been not repaired for a long time, like the yellow earth of a village. Every step left a Footprint.

“Let’s take the bus to another place first, and then get a taxi to your house. Do you know your home address?”

“I know it, but taking a taxi costs money.”

“Don’t you have a cellphone? Don’t you have money on your phone?”

Little Taotie clutched the pocket holding her phone, with big wary eyes, “I do have some… but we can’t waste money!”

At such a young age, she exhibited her miserliness to the fullest!

“You said you followed Kitty to the abandoned villa area and heard Kitty’s screams, not just a sudden scream but continuous, long cries until it was faint and finally went silent,” he said.

Little Taotie nodded, “That’s right.”

“It means someone is in that decrepit villa, likely a sadistic person who tortures cats. When we left just now, you opened that iron gate and made quite a noise. I’m afraid it might draw the attention of that person, and they might come after us. We need to take the bus to leave quickly. Once the bus starts, you won’t know the way anymore. Don’t you agree we should take a taxi back to your place?”

Little Taotie clutched her pocket tightly, looking aggrieved, small and helpless, “We should… but taxis are expensive.”

Although she had emerged from the mountains, her values hadn’t greatly changed yet. Cheng Guodong had always arranged fine food and clothing for her, but Little Taotie didn’t know their specific value, not even how much money she had made from filming commercials.

Her concept was that when she was younger, her grandfather took her to town. She saw the taxis, a type of vehicle she had never ridden in before, and wanted to try.

But her grandfather told her that taxis were expensive.

Her grandfather doted on her and still took her on a ride in a taxi. She saw him empty his pockets just to pay the fare.

In her mind, taking a taxi was a luxurious act that required emptying one’s pockets.

The boy sighed, “When I get home, I’ll pay you back for the taxi fare.”

Little Taotie looked at him with skepticism.

The boy raised his little hand and swore to the sky, “I will definitely give you the taxi money!”
