The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 329: Chapter 329: Call Me Daddy Chapter 329: Chapter 329: Call Me Daddy The boy’s father received a text message.

—-We accidentally saved your son, and he is now safe. Please do not alarm anyone around you and come alone.

At the end of the message, there was an address attached.

Xie Jiacheng calmly put away his phone. Taking advantage of his wife’s inattention, he quietly left from the garage.

He did not doubt the person who had sent the message; it was a young investment prodigy introduced to him by an old friend when he first came to the Mainland.

Why would someone wealthier than himself play tricks on him?

Arriving in front of the villa, Xie Jiacheng felt uneasy, dreading that the child rescued might not be his son.

The door opened, and he saw the child sitting on the sofa directly opposite the entrance.

It was indeed his son who had been missing for many days!

Xie Jiacheng, a tall man of 1.8 meters, burst into tears and rushed over to embrace his son, overcome with the excitement of having him back.

Qin Xin handed him a box of tissues and said, “You can loosen your grip, your son is about to run out of breath.”

Xie Jiacheng quickly let go of the child and saw multiple abrasions on his body, with the most severe injuries being the two broken bones in his shins.

“Xiao Xian, daddy will take you to the hospital right now!”

The boy, however, pushed his father away.

The shut-down Xie Jiacheng was stunned.

Qin Xin stepped forward to mediate: “Listen to what the child has to say first.”

“Alright, alright, Xiao Xian, daddy is listening to you. Don’t ignore daddy, don’t push daddy away!” Xie Jiacheng’s eyes brimmed with tears.

The boy never thought his dad would cry; his mom had gone to Heaven, and although dad was sad, he did not cry.

At that time, he felt somewhat resentful towards his dad.

Lately, his dad was often in contact with that woman, and even treated the woman who dressed up like mom as his mother, which made him detest his dad even more.

With his head down, the boy began to recount his experiences of the past few days slowly and deliberately:

“They chained me up in a dark room with no light, surrounded by the smell of mold and dampness. When I tried to escape, they used iron rods to break my legs.”

“Unable to walk, I could only lie on the ground, with dust penetrating my nose and mouth. At first, they gave me water and threw me a hardened, cold bun, but then they never came again, meaning no one brought me water or food.”

“I don’t know how much time passed; I could only count in my head, counting to 3,600 for every hour. Roughly two days without a drop of water…”

Hearing this, Xie Jiacheng’s tears poured like a breached river.

“This kidnapping was never intended to let me return to you alive from the start.”

Qin Xin sat quietly, listening to the boy’s narrative, and couldn’t help but see the calm young boy in a new light.

So young yet so articulate and coherent.

Even an adult might not be able to recount such an experience so calmly and coherently after going through a kidnapping.

“Dad, if Little Taotie hadn’t saved me, in two days, you would have found my corpse.”

Xie Jiacheng sobbed loudly, “It’s all dad’s fault, dad didn’t protect you properly…”

The boy took a tissue to wipe his father’s tears and said softly, “No wonder grandfather on his deathbed told me you were a crybaby. He said if I ever made a mistake, I should remember your good and not be angry with you, otherwise you would cry yourself to death.”

“When mom passed away, you didn’t cry, I thought grandpa was talking nonsense.”

“Now it seems grandpa was right.”

Xie Jiacheng held his son tightly and said hoarsely, “When your mom passed away, I dared not cry in front of you; I was afraid if I cried, you would cry too.”

“The abandoned villa was under a Blinding Method, and we couldn’t find the door at all. I broke the Formation using the method grandfather taught me. Tell me, if the method grandfather taught is so useful, could the Formation used by them also have been taught by grandfather?”

The boy’s sarcastic tone was all too evident.

Xie Jiacheng: “…”

Xie Jiacheng used the restroom to splash some cold water on his face, and he sobered up.

His current wife was once his father’s disciple, who later was expelled from the sect by his father, and they had not seen each other for many years.

After Xiao Xian’s mother died, he drank a few too many drinks and made a mistake.

She had dressed too much like his deceased wife that night.

After one night, they decided to act as if nothing had happened, but two months later, she was pregnant.

She flatly refused to terminate the pregnancy.

Having no choice, he had to take responsibility and married her for the sake of the child.

They maintained a marriage of non-interference, much like roommates.

Who would have thought she could be so cruel as to harm Xiao Xian!

Stepping out of the restroom, he offered Qin Xin a cigarette, clearly wanting to have a chat alone with Qin Xin.

On the balcony, Xie Jiacheng tried to light his cigarette, but Qin Xin refused: “I’ve already quit smoking.”

Xie Jiacheng tactfully put away his own cigarette as well.

“My current wife has some peculiar skills, and I cannot provoke her for now, nor dare I take the child back. Before I can handle everything, can I leave the child with you for the time being?”

Qin Xin nodded.

“Thank you!” Xie Jiacheng took out a Black Card and handed it over, “Use my card for living expenses…”

Qin Xin interrupted him, “Do I look like someone who lacks money?”

Xie Jiacheng said awkwardly, “It’s mainly because my family’s… expenses are quite high.”

Qin Xin waved his hand dismissively, “I can afford it.”

Before leaving, Xie Jiacheng told the boy, “I will come to get you when everything is sorted out.”

The boy pressed his lips together, saying nothing.

Once he was gone, Qin Xin said playfully, “Your dad has entrusted you to me. From now on, I’ll take care of you. Call me dad.”
