Bride of Retribution: Aloof Billionaire's Dominant Game

The top floor was his private space, a place no one had ever been to, not even the cleaning servants, who had been specially selected and had not been changed in over ten years.

But just at this moment, his door was pushed open.

”Mr. Hughes, the madam asked me to bring you some snacks.”

With a sweet and coquettish voice, Little Emma in her well-fitted nurse’s outfit stood at the door.

Despite many doctors pursuing her at the hospital, she had never been moved. But if she could become attached to this man, it would be truly wonderful. Clearly, he wasn’t very fond of his wife; otherwise, why would he bring another woman back? That woman couldn’t possibly be as young as she was, and soon she could replace her. Just thinking about this made the smile on her face even more charming and playful.

When the door was pushed open, Avery Jane was completely stunned.

It was as if she had been warmed all over by a fireplace, with her blood tingling and flowing everywhere, almost concentrating in her abdomen. Gasping for breath, hearing the sudden opening of the door felt like being doused with a bucket of cold water, chilling her to the bone from head to toe.

The fire between the two was about to ignite, but at this moment, someone suddenly pushed the door open—who allowed this?

He wanted to kill...

This was the perfect reflection of Joshua Hughes’s mood at the moment.

Someone actually dared to come in, borrowing courage from heaven.

Just moments ago, she had been so obedient, but now she was wide-eyed with terror, angrily looking at him. She likely felt humiliated again.

He was starting to feel the invisible thorns slowly growing on her, protecting herself so he couldn’t get close.

It was like he was taming an eagle, nearly successful, but then suddenly a stranger barged in, interfering with the eagle’s keenest sense of smell, rendering all previous efforts wasted.

His complexion gradually turned a ghastly blue. He grabbed the black robe lying by the bedside, put it on, and turned around.

His back really was so attractive, with broad shoulders, a solid and well-defined back, and a lean waist.

As a nurse, she had seen countless men, but this was the first time she’d seen a man with such an exceptional build.

Joshua Hughes pulled up the quilt to cover Avery Jane; her graceful body wouldn’t do even for a woman to see.

He planted a kiss on her forehead, her body temperature already cooling instantly from the fright, with a faint fragrant sweat on her forehead upsetting him further.

His tall and handsome frame slowly walked over, and Little Emma’s heart pounded.

Earlier, the madam had instructed her to bring snacks and explicitly told her to have a good chat with Mr. Hughes. But she didn’t know what terrible mistake she had made, sensing something was off the moment she entered.

The amorous atmosphere in the room, the abruptly halted shallow breaths, and the intertwined bodies under the quilt all suggested a possibility. Even though she had never done it, she seemed to have interrupted their affair.

But why not lock the door?

”Mr. Hughes, I...”

The nurse stood not far from the doorway, watching the man exude a chilling aura, his face violent and bloodthirsty, stepping towards her like a terrifying Rakshasa from the Inferno.

The Yates family had truly fed their courage, thinking they could do as they pleased because Evelyn Yates carried that piece of flesh. They were courting death.

The girl desperately tried to maintain a sweet smile but hadn’t yet realized what was happening when she suddenly felt herself being kicked out with tremendous force.

She landed outside the door, falling to the floor, with the soup from the tray spilling all over the place.

She felt as if her abdomen had been kicked through, the pain making her feel like her insides had shifted, her sharp scream piercing through the Hughes Manor’s silence.

With a touch of a cold smile on his lips, he walked over, grabbing that woman’s hair and dragging her into the elevator. Apparently, without a proper lesson, she’d have no regard for rules.

”Please let me go, it really hurts, it hurts so much.”

The little nurse howled like a pig being slaughtered, no longer the cute and coquettish girl from before.

This man was really terrifying, his gloomy face like the devil’s, devoid of any emotion.
