Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

”Looks like someone in the Celestial Immortal Realm really did end up showing up for the auction and not just one...” As Xuan Hao discovered the Celestial Immortal Realm cultivator along with the ones hidden away inside the small temple, the old man also managed to notice them as he said this with a clear look of unease.

Clearly, he had not expected the auction to draw so many Celestial Immortal Realm cultivators over, something Xuan Hao found understandable, as there really wasn’t anything being put up for auction that could draw the attention of someone in the Celestial Immortal Realm. Making it even more clear to the two of them that the list of items going up for auction they had managed to get their hands on was incomplete.

But... If even someone at the Middle Stage of the Dao Seed Realm was unable to learn about the full list of items for this auction, it most likely means that only someone in the Celestial Immortal Realm would be able to get their hands on it.

Thinking this to himself as he observed the reaction of the old man for a bit longer before returning his gaze to the small temple, Xuan Hao became certain that the old man’s reaction was real and not just something that had been made up.

”I wonder just what it is, for it to attract so many Celestial Immortal Realm cultivators...” Because of this, he couldn’t help voicing out his honest thoughts as he gazed in the direction of the small temple. Earning him a nod from the old man who voiced a similar curiosity about the goal of these Celestial Immortal Realm cultivators.

At the same time, the two of them also began discussing the identity of these Celestial Immortal Realm cultivators, as it was clear that only one of them should be from the Heavenly Dragon Temple, while the rest should belong to other major powers from either the Western Central Region or the Southern Central Region.

In the end, neither of them were too familiar with the Celestial Immortal Realm cultivators of the two regions, the old man’s cultivation being too low to interact with the Celestial Immortal Realm cultivators, while Xuan Hao wasn’t from either region and could still be considered young and relatively uninformed among powerful cultivators due to his relatively short time in the Profound Immortal Realm.

Although... It wasn’t entirely unsuccessful, as the old man managed to identify one of the five Celestial Immortal Realm cultivators currently inside the small temple. Identifying him as a high-ranking member of a church bordering the Western Central Region. Meaning that there were people from both regions present in the small city.

As for Meng Jie, the disciple of the old man who he managed to find out was called Huo Fen, she wasn’t the slightest bit interested in the sudden appearance of several Celestial Immortal Realm cultivators and was far more focused on chomping down on the cookies in the tray that had already been refilled twice by now.

Chomp~ Chomp~ Chomp~

Continuing to consume no less than four entire trays of cookies by the time that Xuan Hao and Huo Fen had to remind her they were leaving for the auction, Huo Fen almost having to drag the young girl away from the few cookies still left in the now fifth cookie tray so they had an opportunity to get into the auction house before it was filled it up.

Outside of discussing the Celestial Immortal Realm cultivators who had shown up, Xuan Hao and Huo Fen had also come to a simple agreement of attending to auction together, something that was pushed by Huo Fen, as he had already realized that there would be no way for him to enter the auction house along with his disciple with his current displayed strength at the Domain Lord Realm.

Entering on his own was fine, but taking his disciple along with him would be impossible, as the scale of the auction had already far exceeded his initial expectations... And he in no way planned to leave his disciple on her own while he attended the auction on his own. Resulting in him requesting to join Xuan Hao during the auction.

After all, even if the scale at the auction had increased, someone at the Soul Ascension Realm was still considered among the strongest people in attendance and would be able to get their hands on a private room. Allowing them to bring along a few people.

Seeing no problem with this and because he had been able to learn more about both the Western and Southern Central Region from the old man during the time leading up to the start of the auction, Xuan Hao had of course agreed.

Even if the old man ended up causing problems later, he felt more than confident in being able to handle a little cultivator in the Middle Stage of the Dao Seed Realm.

The worst-case scenario would be the old man somehow offending one of the Celestial Immortal Realm cultivators who would be joining the auction, but doing so was highly unlikely in his opinion.

After all, the old man should understand that doing something like that would be nothing short of inviting disaster with his current cultivation realm and unless he wanted to kill both himself and his disciple, he wouldn’t do something like that.

So, feeling completely at ease, Xuan Hao slowly made his way to the auction house located a few hundred meters away from the tea house together with Huo Fen and his sulking disciple.

In the process, he also learnt from passing cultivators similarly making their way to the auction house that the Explorer Union had dispatched someone at the Celestial Immortal Realm to watch over the upcoming auction. Meaning there would be a grand total of six people in the Celestial Immortal Realm gathered inside a city that would normally not even see a single person in the Dao Seed Realm by the time that the auction officially began, something that had left the local residents shivering in fear at home, as they were all left terrified by the large number of powerful cultivators that had seemingly appeared out of nowhere in their small city.
