Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Now looking towards the small temple in the distance with far more cautiousness compared to before, Xuan Hao felt that he might have to reconsider potentially causing any problems inside a city with a small temple inside it. After all, he now began to consider the possibility of the small temple having the ability to form some kind of link with the main temple that should be located at the main base of the Heavenly Dragon Temple.

Although the chance of something like that being the case, it was possible if the different small temples spread throughout the territory of the Heavenly Dragon Temple acted as smaller nodes in a much larger formation.

This way, it would also make more sense as to why the churches of the Southern Central Region decided against even pushing a tiny bit into the Western Central Region.

Well... The different churches were present in the Western Region of the continent; it was just limited to the outer regions of the Western Region and didn’t involve the Western Central Region itself.

”That small temple, is there a chance that it has the ability to link up with the main temple of the Heavenly Dragon Temple?” as he felt his own thoughts on the small temple wandering after what the old man said, he couldn’t stop himself from asking the question that had just started to rear its head.

”Link up with the main temple...? This- I never thought about it before, but something like that might be possible if the one in control of the small temple is strong enough.”

”Strong enough... How strong exactly do you think?”

”Hmmm... Someone in the Earth Immortal Realm (Dao Seed Realm) would be too weak to handle the full power of the small temple, so, at least someone in the Early Stage of the Celestial Immortal Realm.”

Isn’t that the strength of the person from the Heavenly Dragon Temple who was rumored to be there for the auction...?

Feeling a clear sense of unease upon realizing that the person from the Heavenly Dragon Temple might be far more difficult to deal with than he had first expected, Xuan Hao began to rethink his earlier plan of just carelessly making a move relying on his superior strength.

Instead of that, he became far more interested in finding out where the Celestial Immortal Realm cultivator from the Heavenly Dragon Temple might be hiding. After all, if he couldn’t just escape in case something happened because of the Celestial Immortal Realm cultivator from the Heavenly Dragon Temple, he would have to first find a way to get rid of the Celestial Immortal Realm cultivator before he had a chance to fight back.

Given the difference in strength between himself and someone in the Early Stage of the Celestial Immortal Realm, he was more than confident in instantly killing the other party.

The main problem now was that he had not yet seen this Celestial Immortal Realm cultivator and striking at the small temple where he was likely hiding for now presents a lot of unknowns that he didn’t like.

One of these being that the other party could potentially activate some kind of link with the main temple before he had the opportunity to kill them. Ending up with him facing the might of a formation that even Star Creation Realm cultivators feared confronting.

”Ah, speaking of Celestial Immortal Realm cultivators, there was a rumor that someone at that level would show up for the auction, but I find it a bit hard to believe. Even if the auction is far above a normal one held by the Explorer Union, it doesn’t have something that can attract the attention of someone beyond the Earth Immortal Realm (Dao Seed Realm).

Unless... Something I’m unaware of is going to appear at the upcoming auction, but if that is the case, I doubt the Heavenly Dragon Temple will be the only ones to send someone at the Celestial Immortal Realm to participate...”

Whoosh~

As he quietly listened to the old man talking while his disciple was busy munching on a few cookies that had been brought alongside their tea.

A sudden shift in the atmosphere caused both of them to freeze before they turned to look out the window together with him. Looking towards a person flying over from the distance in the direction of the city.

The thing that caused them to freeze was not the fact that someone had suddenly appeared flying towards the city, but instead the terrifying presence of this person.

”Celestial Immortal Realm...” Quietly muttering this to himself as he watched the person land in front of the small temple before stepping inside, Xuan Hao was certain that this person was a bit surprised.

Not because this person had shown up just before the auction would start, but instead because the brief instant when he stepped inside the small temple allowed him to sense the presence of four other people of similar strength inside the small temple.

From the looks of things, there was indeed something at the upcoming auction that had drawn the attention of several Celestial Immortal Realm cultivators. The only question left was what it was that had drawn the attention of so many Celestial Immortal Realm cultivators.

For now, it looked like he would have to wait for the auction to start before finding out what it was that all of them had come for.

At the same time, he also had to check on how many spirit stones he had on hand in case he wanted to join in on the upcoming auction.

After all, confident as he might be in using the Dao of Space to discreetly steal the things he wanted from the Explorer Union, it would be difficult to accomplish with so many Celestial Immortal Realm cultivators in close proximity.

Not to mention, he still wanted to avoid offending the Explorer Union if possible.

Possible being a keyword, as he wasn’t entirely against stealing if something truly valuable ended up appearing...
