Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Giving the city a cursory glance, it wasn’t difficult to find the important locations centered around the city lord manor located at the core of the city where the formation core was also stored. The important locations outside of this city lord manor where a Dao Seed Realm cultivator was overseeing the city on behalf of some major, being the Explorer Union and a few other important organizations that could be found throughout the Eastern Central Region.

Of course, the only one he really cared about was the Explorer Union, as it was the only faction present inside of the city that he knew for certain had information on the Southern Central Region of the Continent. The other powers present might also have information on the Southern Central Region, but their information wouldn’t be as accurate as the Explorer Union. Not to mention, the reason he had chosen to enter this city was also because the Explorer Union branch inside this city seemed to be far stronger than any of the other cities he had encountered so far. Housing a total of three people in the Dao Seed Realm, one of the two even having broken through to the Middle Stage of the Dao Seed Realm.

In a sense, this made the Explorer Union the current strongest faction in the city, but at the same time, it also indicated that there should be something special happening outside the city itself for the Explorer Union to dispatch so many powerful cultivators simply to watch over this single branch. After all, they were still under the protection of the formation that was guarding the city and a few more Dao Seed Realm cultivators wouldn’t be able to make much of a difference if the city ended up facing someone capable of breaking through a Saint Realm Formation. Indicating that the reason for so many powerful members of the Explorer Union showing up had nothing to do with the safety of the branch instead, but instead something outside the city that they deemed important enough to send over three Dao Seed Realm cultivators, even one at the Middle Stage of the Dao Seed Realm.

This did make him curious about what the Explorer Union had discovered, but at the same time it also made him confident that he would be able to get his hands on far more detailed information on the Southern Central Region of the Continent with so many powerful cultivators from the Explorer Union present. Especially the one in the Middle Stage of the Dao Seed Realm, as he could clearly sense that this person wasn’t someone aiming to reach the Celestial Immortal Realm but was instead someone striving towards reaching the Profound Immortal Realm.

If that person had really wanted to break through to the Celestial Immortal Realm, that person could have already done so from what he could tell.

Even then, while he was curious and wanted information on the Southern Central Region, he decided to first visit the core of the Sain Realm Formation guarding the city. After all, there was no way for those three to leave the city without him noticing. His comprehension of the Dao of Space and superior cultivation realm giving him absolute control over the situation inside the city. Allowing him to know the second something happened. Especially so if it involved those three from the Explorer Union leaving the city, as he was already subconsciously monitoring them.

Whoosh~

Landing in front of the floating crystal sphere that was the core of the city’s guardian formation without being noticed by the Dao Seed Realm cultivator deep in meditation a few meters away from him, Xuan Hao closed both of his eyes as he reached out towards the formation core with his divine sense before sneaking past any guards in place to guard the core from outside interference...

This... Amazing... So, this is a Sain Realm Formation...?

And in the next second, he managed to see the entirety of the formation from the inside, something that should have been impossible under normal circumstances, but had been achieved due to the sheer power of his divine sense far surpassing what the formation could handle or detect.

Not only did this allow him to fully see the formation and figure out how it worked, but it also gave him a better understanding of the Dao of Formations, as the formation master who had created the formation in the past had fully utilized their Perfection Realm comprehension of the Dao of Formations to do so. Giving him a clear look into a much higher level of the Dao of Formations compared to his own that was still stuck at the Large Success Realm of the Dao of Formation.

If he stayed here and comprehended the formation left behind by the Saint Realm Formation Master at the Third Heaven of the Saint Realm, he didn’t doubt that he himself would be able to break through to the Saint Realm on his own in a few years, but... He had no intention of doing this, as it would require him to remain in the Eastern Central Region.

Not just that, but he didn’t really view the Dao of Formations as a focus with how he currently had no disciples focused on the Dao of Formations that he needed to take care of, while the chaotic qi formations construction was mostly taken care of by the system.

Speaking of which, it would properly be more effective for his comprehension of the Dao of Formations to observe the operation of the chaotic qi formation instead of this Saint Realm Formation, as the chaotic qi formation, though it hadn’t been upgraded yet, was still far more profound than a normal Saint Realm Formation.

If anything, the main thing he gained from observing the Saint Realm Formation was the unique path that the creator had taken when it came to constructing the formation itself, something that did immediately benefit his comprehension of the Dao of Formations without needing him to enter secluded cultivation for a longer time. Only really needing a quick cursory glance over the internal structure of the formation itself.

”Hm?” Still busy going over the internal structure of the formation core, Xuan Hao suddenly turned his head ever so slightly as he looked off in the direction of the Explorer Union. ”Those three are moving?”

Narrowing both his eyes as he refocused his attention on those three Dao Seed Realm cultivators from the Explorer Union without any of them noticing that they were being observed, he watched as all three of them made their way out of the branch before beginning to leave the city.

”Looks like those three are finally making their move...” At the same time Xuan Hao was secretly observing the situation, the Dao Seed Realm cultivator who oversaw managing the city suddenly opened both his eyes as he muttered this to himself just loud enough for him to hear. Making it clear that the other party had some idea about what the three from the Explorer Union were up to.

Looking closer at this person, Xuan Hao could even see an unmistakable look of greed and desire in his eyes, one that was quickly replaced by a look of reluctance and powerlessness, as he sank back into meditation without making a move to chase after the three people from the Explorer Union.

This short reaction made it very clear that this person not only knew what the three from the Explorer Union was up to, but also that it involved something precious enough to even make a Dao Seed Realm cultivator greedy.

If not for the fact that the Explorer Union’s side had not just three people in the Dao Seed Realm, but one of them had also reached the Middle Stage of the Dao Seed Realm, he didn’t doubt that this person would have gotten up and discreetly followed the three of them.

In fact, as he observed this guardian, who had seemingly gone back to cultivating quietly, he discovered that the old fellow had split up his body before secretly following the three from the Explorer Union. The person now sitting next to the crystal sphere being nothing more than a clone that barely had enough strength to contend with someone in the Soul Ascension Realm.

Even at the risk of fighting someone in the Middle Stage of the Dao Seed Realm and two in the Early Stage of the Dao Seed Realm at the same time, this person had still ended up deciding to discreetly chase after the three from the Explorer Union. Once again, making it clear that something valuable was at stake, valuable enough for someone in the Dao Seed Realm to risk their life.

I really can’t not follow after seeing all of this...

Smiling wryly as he thought this, Xuan Hao didn’t bother lingering around the city lord’s manor for any longer, as he himself decided to join in on whatever it was that these four were up to.
