Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Chomp~!

Chomping down on the first of the five spiritual fruits, the second he landed in another corner of the Eastern Central Region; Xuan Hao didn’t bother with the confused group of cultivators he had ended up landing in front of. Focusing his full attention on properly absorbing and integrating the vast amount of spiritual qi rapidly flowing into his dantian from the spiritual fruits he had just consumed, causing large waves to sweep through his spiritual sea as it began expanding at a speed visible to the naked eye.

From the original 37 kilometers, it grew all the way to 53 kilometers before slowing down and ultimately ended up at 54 kilometers in total when all the spiritual qi from the spiritual fruit had been absorbed by his spiritual sea. Growing a grand total of 17 kilometers from just a single spiritual fruit.

If the required size for his spiritual sea to breakthrough the next minor realm and reach the Turbulent Sea Realm or Late Stage of the Sea Formation Realm was 100 kilometers, it was very possible for him to breakthrough with the help of the last four spiritual fruits, or at the very least get incredibly close to breaking through to the Late Stage of the Sea Formation Realm.

The only clear negative about consuming the spiritual fruit like he had just done was that his spiritual sea had ended up becoming extremely turbulent due to the sudden and massive expansion that had taken place. If not for his strong foundation, he would undoubtedly have ended up killing himself from consuming the spiritual fruit like he had done. After all, it wasn’t at all designed to just be swallowed and fully absorbed in a matter of a few seconds.

Well... It wasn’t really designed to be eaten in the first place, as there was no way that the spiritual tree would have designed for the spiritual fruit it had spent thousands of years growing and nurturing get consumed by someone else, but, in the hands of someone different, they would at least be able to consume it slower than he had done and not have to deal with such a large influx of spiritual qi all at once...

But... Everything isn’t bad about this, as it at least allows me to consume the spiritual fruit before the spiritual tree can catch up with me...

Shaking his head a bit as he thought about this, while a small smile made its way onto his lips, Xuan Hao turned to look at the group cultivators who were now looking at him filled with fear.

An understandable reaction considering he couldn’t properly control his own presence while consuming the spiritual fruit... And even after he had consumed it, he wasn’t able to do much about it either due to the chaotic state of his spiritual sea. Forcing this little group of what turned out to be a Domain Lord Realm cultivator out training a few younger disciples in the Nascent Soul Realm, to face the full brunt of his cultivation realm, something that would have outright killed those few Nascent Soul Realm cultivators if he hadn’t deliberately weakened his presence just enough for them to survive.

Of course... They still ended up collapsing on the ground frothing at the mouth before fainting after a few seconds. Leaving only the Domain Lord Realm cultivator conscious, but it was better than dying.

Rumble~

”Speaking of dying, I should get out of here...” Muttering this to himself as he looked at the space a few meters behind him starting to twist as a small branch became visible, Xuan Hao understood that he had overstayed his welcome, as the spiritual tree chasing him from behind was about to catch up with him-

Riiip~

Forcing him to rip the space in front of him apart to rapidly teleport out of the way before the other party had the chance to corner him and lock him in place. After all, now that his situation had only worsened compared to when he had first faced it, he wouldn’t stand much of a chance of escaping if he was caught inside its domain again.

On a positive note, even with his spiritual sea’s current chaotic state, he was still more than capable of utilizing the Dao of Space to run away. The main problem was that he would likely have to spend the next day or two escaping through the Eastern Central Region with the spiritual tree chasing after him before his spiritual sea calmed down enough for him to consume a second spiritual fruit.

Running through the Eastern Central Region for such a long period of time. Especially considering that he still planned to consume the other three spiritual fruits after the second one, would undoubtedly attract the attention of the different major powers residing in the Eastern Central Region.

All he could do in that regard was pray that those major powers would be far too occupied with their own battles to care about him and the spiritual tree.

Even if they might grow interested in finding out what was happening and potentially intervene, it would be incredibly difficult considering the escape was taking place using the Dao of Space. Even if someone wanted to interfere, they would at the very least have to reach the Large Success Realm in the Dao of Space or have some kind of special artifact capable of interfering with space.

Of course, there was also the potential for someone else in the Land Creation Realm joining in, but the number of cultivators that powerful in the Eastern Central Region would be small... And they wouldn’t dare leave their own empire unprotected without reason. Making the chance of someone like that joining the chase extremely small...

And so... As the chase through the Eastern Central Region continued, Xuan Hao and the spiritual tree soon drew the attention of all the major powers in the Eastern Central Region, as their chase wasn’t isolated by any means and sometime ended up directly next to their cities or other important locations they wanted to protect.

Unfortunately, there was nothing they could do about it, as the two people involved were far from ordinary, one with an extremely high mastery of the Dao of Space, while the other was a terrifying existence that had reached the Land Creation Realm.

However, this didn’t mean that the chase through the Eastern Central Region would go uncontested, as the spiritual tree was far from benevolent when it arrived somewhere only to discover that Xuan Hao had already left, as the different major powers throughout the Eastern Central Region began asking for help in dealing with the situation that didn’t seem anywhere close to an end.

Soon enough, three days after the chase had already passed through a dozen unfortunate cities that ended up faced with the wrath of the spiritual tree, the four strongest major powers in the Eastern Central Region came to an agreement and decided to band together to deal with the two troublemakers causing havoc far greater than anything that had been seen in the Eastern Central Region’s recent past.

The main cause behind such an alliance even being possible in the first place mainly had to do with the damage that was caused by the spiritual tree, as it had already killed close to twenty Dao Seed Realm cultivator and more than five Celestial Immortal Realm cultivators who had been unfortunate enough to be in its path. One of these Celestial Immortal Realm cultivators even being a senior figure of one of the four major powers at the Middle Stage of the Celestial Immortal Realm.

The damage and potential future damage were far too great for any of the four major powers, essentially in the process of fighting for control over the Eastern Central Region to handle, as they had already come to realize that the chase remained inside the borders of the Eastern Central Region. Not leaving the borders of their region like they had mostly been hoping for when they had first learnt about the chase taking place.

After all, if possible, they didn’t want to fight with someone in the Land Creation Realm. Especially so someone who was clearly proficient in the Dao of Space.

As for the one that the Land Creation Realm spiritual tree was chasing after? None of them had any clue about this person, as he was far too fast and had a comprehension far surpassing that of the spiritual tree when it came to the Dao of Space. Allowing him to continue evading capture even after several days passed.

Not that they were any less interested in dealing with this troublemaker, it was just that it was far too difficult to lock onto this person compared to the spiritual tree that was chasing after this person.

If they got the opportunity, they would undoubtedly also deal with this person as well, as he was the main reason behind all of the chaos and their losses...
