Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

As he stopped worrying about the future of the sect and how he would have to continue ensuring his current strength difference compared to the rest of the elders of the sect in the future, Xuan Hao’s thoughts slowly drifted towards his second disciple, Chu Yang. Wondering what he might be getting himself up to in the Eastern Central Region. After all, that region was far from safe and well known to be the most chaotic among the four central regions.

Although the Eastern Central Region was far from as dangerous as the Southern Central Region where most of the continent’s power was concentrated, it was still far easier to encounter a Celestial Immortal Realm cultivator in the Eastern Central Region compared to the Southern Central Region, as the state of the Southern Central Region’s major powers operated in a manner not much different from the Northern Central Region. Meaning that it would be difficult to encounter anyone in the Celestial Immortal Relam under normal circumstances. The only way to find someone like that would be at the core of the different major powers or at the newly established battlefronts that had formed with the demonic cultivators invading the Northern Central Region.

Of course, even if one could still encounter someone in the Celestial Immortal Realm, one would at least know where they were and how to avoid them if one wanted to do so, something that was impossible in the Eastern Central Region, as a major battle involving Celestial Immortal Relam cultivators could start anywhere at any time. Dragging whoever was unfortunate enough to be too close to the battle into it. After all, the scale of a battle between Celestial Immortal Realm cultivators was simply unimaginable and the area their battle affected was vast and would take time to escape from even for those in the Dao Seed Realm.

But... From how the little safety measure he had discreetly placed on Chu Yang just in case he ended up in this kind of situation during his trip to the Eastern Central Region had not been activated, he could at least make sure that he hadn’t ended up encountering that kind of situation yet- or if he had, he had been lucky enough to find a way out on his own.

Even though it was difficult to escape from a battlefield created by two clashing Celestial Immortal Realm cultivators, it wasn’t impossible for someone in the Domain Lord Realm to escape from, let alone Chu Yang who already wasn’t any weaker than someone in the Soul Ascension Realm.

Then again, this was also entirely dependent on the fact that the two Celestial Immortal Realm cultivators weren’t above the Early Stage of the Celestial Immortal Realm and wasn’t deliberately targeting the cultivators who happened to accidentally get caught up in their battle.

If someone was targeted, even as a second thought, only someone in the Dao Seed Realm would stand a chance of making it out alive, his little disciple wouldn’t stand a chance with his current strength.

So, he could at least be certain that even if Chu Yang had ended up caught in a battle like that, he hadn’t fallen out with or offended anyone in the Celestial Immortal Realm, as the safety measure that had been left on him would have already been triggered in response to being deliberately being targeted by someone in the Celestial Immortal Realm.

”Speaking of which, maybe I should make a quick trip to the Eastern Central Region to check up on him. After all, that spiritual tree has been chased off by the demonic cultivators and there shouldn’t be anything for me to worry about regarding the safety of the sect.

The sect’s development is already entirely in the hands of Elder Song and Feng Chen. All I do is serve as a deterrent for the major powers like the Blue Sea Empire and the Frozen Wastelands...” Muttering this to himself as he looked off into the distance, Xuan Hao realized there wasn’t much of a reason for him to linger around the sect unless he intended to entre secluded cultivation or spent some more time teaching his disciples.

And although part of him did plan to spend some more time with his disciples, they were all busy with their own things. The thing in question being Gong Cheng and his three friends.

Bai Ning already having kidnapped Gong Cheng the second he learned that the old man was a Saint Realm Blacksmith, while Qing Yi and Chun Hua had begun to learn more about spiritual plants from Li Che, one of the three people Gong Cheng had brought along with him to join the sect and also a Peak Grandmaster Realm Botanist, the now officially most knowledgeable person in the sect when it came to spiritual plants.

Not just the most skilled when it came to spiritual plants, but he was also an extremely dedicated person who wanted nothing more than to teach others about spiritual plants and help them step onto the path of being a real botanist. The reason for this being rather simple, as most people knowledgeable about spiritual plants would turn towards the far more recognized and lucrative alchemy path instead of continuing to focus their full attention on being a botanist focused on the care and handling of spiritual plants.

For this reason, Li Che had wasted no time in taking control of the sect’s botanist who could at most be considered half-baked botanist in his eyes and had already clearly set his sights on Qing Yi and Chun Hua.

One of the reasons he was teaching the two was not just out of his love for sharing his knowledge of spiritual plants, but also because he was clearly attempting to turn the two away from the alchemy path and onto the botanist path.

Though this didn’t seem to work much on Qing Yi, it did seem to influence Chun Hua, as her focus shifted more towards studying spiritual plants instead of elixirs, pills and other alchemical creations.

At the end of the day, Xuan Hao didn’t really care much about this, as it would only be beneficial if his disciples ended up learning more professions... And Chun Hua seemed especially fitted for the botanist profession with her racial heritage that brought her far closer to the Dao of Life and Nature compared to others. Allowing her to more easily care for and learn about spiritual plants.

Next up... The last of his disciples present in the Star Shattering Sect, Mui...

After the last episode with the Baobao, she had calmed down again and returned to normal again, causing a few headaches for Elder Song along the way, but nothing major that couldn’t be taken care of without having any real impact on the daily management of the sect.

At least that was how it would have gone normally, but she seemed to have made friends with one of the other three who had joined the sect alongside Gong Cheng, Ye Xinghui.

Ye Xinghui was like the other two Gong Cheng had brought along with him when joining the sect and was also a Dao Seed Realm cultivator that had reached the Peak of the Grandmaster Realm in a profession. The only thing was that the profession he had broken through to the Peak of the Grandmaster Realm in was a rather unique one, the art of disguise.

This profession was unique and extremely hard to come by under normal circumstances and the people who practiced this path were known to extremely elusive and hard to find. Even someone in the Celestial Immortal Realm would find it close to impossible to find someone who had reached the Peak of the Grandmaster Realm in the art of disguise.

In fact, it was because of Ye Xinghui that Gong Cheng and the other two had managed to safely escape to the Blue Shore Kingdom in the past without encountering any problems along the way. Completely avoiding the different major powers that had been chasing them down. Showing just how powerful the art of disguise was when in the hands of a truly skilled individual like Ye Xinghui.

The problem was, Ye Xinghui was now teaching this path to the most infamous troublemaker in the Star Shattering Sect and his youngest disciple. Worse yet, he had observed the situation and discovered that she could learn this path and was even highly talented when it came to the art of disguise...

From this, Xuan Hao could already imagine how much trouble this little disciple of his was going to cause in the future when she started becoming truly proficient at using the art of disguise.

But at the end of the day, it was also a good thing that would be able to keep her safe when she would inevitably wander out of the sect in the future, so he couldn’t really step in and stop her from learning this kind of life saving art.
