Chapter 147: Oliver Hamilton

Ethan smiled at them, ”Seniors, you probably already know that I have awakened a sword talent. So, do you have any club which is special for sword practitioners?”

When they heard the question, some seniors had a gloomy look on their faces. The answer was clear. They were not what this SSS-grade student was looking for.

But one male student had a blooming face right now.

”Hahaha, I knew it, brother. You would definitely choose the sword club. Our club is special for sword practitioners.”

When Ethan heard this, he became interested.

”Tell me about the club, senior.”

The boy nodded.

The other seniors left when they saw this. They’d better chase those other top students.

Then the boy started talking,

”First, let me introduce myself. I am Liam Cromwell. I am now in the 3rd year.

Now about the club. The club was established by Sir Alexander Hamilton, the greatest sword master ever born in Aetherion, when he was a student in the Hunter Academy 57,000 years ago.

From then on, the legacy has been passed down from generation to generation. Now the current president of the sword club is Oliver Hamilton, the leader of the youngest generation and also a descendant of the Hamilton family. He is a 4th-year student. You will get to know him later.”

When Liam introduced the club, he always had this proud look on his face, like he was Alexander or Oliver himself.

Ethan also listened to this. It would be a nice start.

”Okay, senior, I’ll join the club. Is there any rules or regulations?” Ethan asked.

Liam said, ”Sword masters are free spirits, do you think some lame rules or regulations can bind them?”

He laughed a bit.

Ethan also smiled. It was good. He really didn’t like to be bound.

”Then let’s go,” Ethan said.

Liam said, ”Okay, let’s go. After finishing your registration procedure, I’ll have to come back.”

Then Liam took Ethan and left the place.

Soon they entered the academy building; the clubs were all on the 10th floor.

Soon they reached the sword club. It was actually the office of the sword club. The actual club was at the club building, where each club was provided with their own separate training rooms.

Ethan and Liam entered the room. There were 3 people in that room.

An extremely beautiful girl was sitting on the main desk and was writing on papers.

As soon as she saw Liam, she shouted, ”Liam, you bastard. Help me with this paperwork. Do you want me to die?”

Liam had a wry smile on his face.

”Sofia, please calm down. The president separated our jobs, you know, and we have a guest. Please behave yourself.”

When Liam said they had a guest, Sofia immediately turned red. She was silently cursing Liam for not telling her before.

Liam could only smile awkwardly.

Ethan stepped forward from behind Liam and greeted all 3 members in the room who were working.

”Hello, I am Ryan Hunt. It’s nice to meet you, seniors. I hope you would take care of me.”

Sofia was stunned. This new student was so damn handsome, and she had cursed in front of him just now. What would he think about her now?

Sofia immediately fell into depression. Liam saw through that look of despair on Sofia’s face and went to her.

”Sofia, no need to be so depressed. I am sure Ryan didn’t hear anything, right Ryan?” Liam consoled her.

Ethan had a look of curiosity,

”What I didn’t hear? Did something happen here?”

Liam immediately gave Ethan a big thumbs up.

”Great acting, bro.”

As soon as Ethan said that, the look of despair vanished from her face. She became bubbly again.

”Hello, newbie. I am Sofia Silva. Welcome to our club. If anyone bullies you, come to me. Big sister will bring justice to you.”

Sofia smiled with a happy face.

Ethan was speechless. Weren’t you so depressed a moment ago?

But he also smiled at her.

Soon Ethan finished his registration process.

Liam said, ”Okay, you can go to your dormitory now and rest. There will be a club gathering at night. Someone will go to call you then.”

Ethan nodded at them and left the office.

As soon as he left, Sofia pounced on Liam like a lioness.

”Liam, you bastard. First, you didn’t help me with the work, and now you didn’t tell me we had a guest and embarrassed me. You really need a beating.”

Bam! Bam! Bam!

Liam could only take the beating. What could you do when the person beating you is your lover?

Yeah, Liam and Sofia were a couple—a great couple, the cause of jealousy for many people in the academy.

After some time, Sofia stopped.

Liam gave her a sudden kiss and ran out of the room.

Sofia turned red and looked around. The other two were looking away as if they didn’t see anything.

Sofia coughed and said, ”Your workloads are doubled. Complete it or fight me in a battle.”

The two people, one girl and one boy, became depressed.

”That’s not fair. We didn’t even say anything, Vice President. Why would you do that?” the girl pouted.

Sofia coldly snorted, ”I didn’t hear what you just said, say it again.”

The girl immediately sat at her desk and started working,

”I didn’t say anything, Vice President. You must have heard wrong.”

”That’s good.”

Sofia also started doing her job. The guy, however, was very calm. He also started doing his job.

Ethan, after coming out from the building, started walking toward the dormitory. Soon he arrived there.

The dormitory was majestic. It had a huge field in front of it, where many students were practicing, playing, and training.

Soon someone noticed Ethan and came in front of him.

”Are you a new student?” the man asked.

”Yes. It’s nice to meet you. I am Ryan Hunt.”

The boy also introduced himself,

”I am Noel, a 2nd-year student. Which room have you gotten? Let me take you there.”

Ethan said, ”It’s okay, senior. I can go there myself. Thanks for the offering.”

Noel didn’t press further.

”Okay then. See you later. This is my communication number. Contact me if you need anything.”

Then he left.

Ethan was really surprised, ”Isn’t this dude too friendly? Anyway, I like good guys.”

Ethan didn’t feel any hostility from this dude, so he was probably not acting like a good guy. Even if he did, Ethan had nothing to do with that.

Ethan entered the lift and went directly to the sixth floor. Soon he found his room.

He unlocked the room with his key. It was a single-person room, as everyone in the Dragon Dormitory was talented. They needed to be treated specially.

Ethan first took a bath and went to bed. He wanted to sleep. He hadn’t slept for many days, so he was kind of missing this.

In the Forest of Jura, a boy in Hunter Academy uniform just sliced an A-rank tiger with a single strike.

[Ding! A new mission is activated.]

Oliver looked at his system interface and was surprised. The system gave a mission after a long wait. Then he checked the mission block.

”Mission: Make friends with Ryan Hunt.”

Who was Ryan Hunt? Oliver thought. He needed to find that out himself as his system wouldn’t tell him.
