Chapter 132: Melissa took action

The whole world came to a stop instantly. There shouldn’t have been this level of power in this lower-dimensional space of this universe.

The power of an Immortal Emperor far surpasses the limit of this lower realm.

The curse divided this universe into two portions. It was to make the weak ones remain in the weak realm and the stronger ones remain in the strong realm, because a universe always contains more weaker ones than stronger ones.

And ascending from the lower realm to the upper realm was not an easy task. They had to face thunder tribulation, they needed to survive one hundred thunder strikes.

So many people who reached the pinnacle didn’t dare to ascend to the higher realm.

This made a cap of power in the lower realm. It was a brilliant move from that outerversal enemy to keep the majority of the people in the lower realm, so that when he would wake up again, he could kill those bugs easily.

But this curse power could be bypassed by using some supreme-grade immortal artifact for some time.

This time, Asmodius exactly did that.

He sent one of his 4 generals under him to attack this particular lower world. Though he wouldn’t be able to destroy this world as the Forbidden Zone was present here and that eldritch entity lived there, he could vent his anger by killing every other life form, even if he had to sacrifice this Immortal Emperor general of his.

This time, the Immortal Emperor that came was a colossal titan beast. Everyone looked at the sky. The titan opened its colossal mouth to swallow the sun. The sun looked like a marbke in front of the mouth of that monster.

In fact, the sun of this world was millions of times bigger than the sun of the solar system of Earth.

Ethan could estinate just how colossal this entity was. It was at least the size of the Milky Way galaxy or even larger.

The whole world of the ancients became standstill by its horrendous pressure. It didn’t attack though.

It was just about to swallow the sun, but if the sun was swallowed, the whole world would plunge into darkness and all the life forms would be affected.

Ethan was thinking about what to do.

He knew that Melissa and her master, the only Supreme of this universe, Elyndros Niharym, lived in the Forbidden Zone. The Supreme couldn’t leave the place, but Melissa could.

If Melissa didn’t intervene this time, he would need to activate the ”Descend of the Chaos Ruler” form.

But Ethan’s eyes turned cold.

If he really had to use that form, he would kill Melissa too. There was no need for her to exist in this world. If an Immortal Emperor could destroy everything in the presence of a Saint, the Saint didn’t need to exist anymore.

Besides, Melissa did say she could stay outside for a month, but she left in a day. That meant she could come out again.

The titan, it looked like a huge dragon.

Soon everyone heard a voice,

”Human ant, my master sent a message to you.”

Then a projection of Asmodius appeared in front of everyone.

He laughed maniacally, ”I told you, I’ll kill you even if I have to destroy this entire universe. Every living being in this world would have the same fate as yours, just because you are a creature from this pitiful world. Now be ready to die.”

Asmodius’s projection was about to vanish, but suddenly they heard a voice again.

This time the voice was too calm compared to this desperate situation.

”Asmodius, is this just a projection of yours or can you hear me?”

Ethan asked calmly. He decided to use the form of Chaos Ruler, but if he really did that, the Demon Realm would be buried with Asmodius and the other demons, along with Melissa too.

But he wanted to try one last time.

Soon Asmodius’s projection looked at him with a mocking look on his face.

”Oh? You want to beg for mercy, ant? It’s too late now. Only your flesh and blood can calm my mind right now.”

Ethan smiled, ”It’s good that you can hear me. Do you know there is a Saint in this world who lives in that Forbidden Zone?”

Asmodius had a look of confusion on his face.

All he knew was that there lived an eldritch entity, the most powerful life form in this universe, in that Forbidden Zone, but it couldn’t leave that place. Until he attacked that place, he would be safe. He never even thought of the possibility that there might be someone who was as strong as his main body, if not stronger, living there and that she could leave that place.

That would have really changed all his plans.

He would never send his general to his certain death.

Though he said he was ready to sacrifice his general to calm his anger, that was all talk without essence, because he thought that the Supreme wouldn’t come out to help some ants from that Forbidden Zone, risking his own life.

He immediately ordered the dragon to withdraw and return to the Demon Realm.

But this time, it was time for that galaxy-sized dragon to be frozen in place. Its mouth was surrounding the sun. Just a moment more and it could have closed its mouth, and the sun would have been eternally gone. But at this very moment, it was locked in place. Even its spirit was locked.

A woman in a white dress appeared in front of it.

A few minutes ago, when the pressure enveloped the world, in the Forbidden Zone—

Elyndros opened his eyes. His eyes turned cold.

That pesky cardinal demon dared to send an Immortal Emperor toward his domain.

That demon didn’t regard him too highly, it seemed.

Besides, Melissa had already finished her reporting, so he knew in this world there was someone who was not from this universe and was vastly superior to even him.

So he thought maybe that person would take action.

Melissa came in front of him and asked, ”Master, should I take action?”

Elyndros said, ”Wait a little longer. Let’s see what he does.”

But then Ethan suddenly said there was a Saint in this world. That was clearly an indication that Ethan wanted Melissa to take action for him.

Besides, he did a quick divination. The result Elyndros found dumbfounded him.

If Melissa didn’t take action today, she wouldn’t see the sun of tomorrow. He didn’t know why.

So he immediately ordered Melissa to go out and kill that demonic beast which was about to swallow the whole sun in a bite.

At present—

A woman was floating in front of that galaxy-sized dragon. She looked like a particle in front of that demon, but her aura vastly surpassed that dragon.

Even the pressure which was enveloping the entire world suddenly disappeared, and everyone heaved a sigh of relief.

Melissa said in a calm tone, ”Your master really doesn’t care about you much, does he? That’s why he sent you here to die.”

Suddenly, Asmodius’s projection came again, ”Miss Doombringer, please let my general go. I won’t do such a foolish thing again.”

Asmodius knew Melissa with every cell of his body.

Everyone knew her who was present 10 billion years ago. They thought Melissa was gone in the annals of history, but this monster was standing right in front of him.
