Chapter 111: Sword sect challenged

Soon, the Law of Chaos reached 6%.

And boom! The world started expanding again.

The world expanded five times more than before. Now, it was a massive planet with 1.575 million kilometers in diameter, which was even bigger than the Sun itself.

His panel changed again.

[Master: Ethan Hunt

Physique: 8000 Sun

Spirit: 8000 Sun

Talent: Infinite Comprehension]

(17 days remaining)

8000 Sun. A massive power. He didn’t even know how powerful it was. To check it, he needed to destroy something or someone. Maybe a future enemy would let him use his full strength.

Aetherion.

Ethan’s clone also gained a huge boost.

”Looks like the main body has broken through again. Maybe we will be able to leave this world soon. But I am contracted to the spirit of this world. I’ll be the guardian of this realm, so the main body has to come here to merge with this clone.”

The two-day hunt was over. Ethan ranked 7th. Then he came out of the forest with all the surviving students.

Jenny and other teachers were waiting for them.

She congratulated everyone. Only 179 people came out unharmed. They were to be sure admission, and the remaining would be selected from the points.

”Okay students. You have done well. You are now the students of the Hunter Academy, the future of Aetherion. You have to defend our world when the world needs us.Be prepared for that burden as well as immense glory.

Class will start three days from now on. You can enjoy the three days vacation. You won’t be able to leave the Academy until the next semester break.”

Students were happy, thrilled, excited, and also nervous.

Hunter Academy was the dream institution of every young male and female. Now they had achieved their goal. They would share this joy with their parents and friends.

Ethan wasn’t interested in this. He wanted to visit the dungeon. The bus took everyone to the campus, and everyone dispersed from the place. Ethan went to a library, then read all the history of the Aetherion.

The dungeons were present for eons. The system was also the same. There wasn’t any exact date to tell when the dungeons or the system appeared in Aetherion.

Then he found the biggest dungeon near the city. It was a 100-floor dungeon. Even the SSS-rank party didn’t go down all the way up to the 100th floor. The SSS-rank party went to the 97th floor, and there weren’t any X-rank or Transcended-rank hunters in this continent. So the last three floors were still undiscovered. Ethan was very interested in this dungeon.

There were many mysteries in Aetherion, so he would uncover those mysteries slowly.

In the world of the ancients.

Ethan came out from the room. Mika’s eyes were as big as a football. Her master brought a random boy out of nowhere, and now he became the Divine Son of the sect—at the same level as the sect master himself.

She didn’t even treat him well, vaguely brought him here only because her master ordered her to.

Now she was regretting it. If she had been more kind to him , she might have caught the eyes of the Divine Son. She wanted to cry.

Ethan came to her and said, ”Bring me to Elder Valkan.”

Mika immediately straightened herself up and nodded hastily.

She brought him to the Alchemy Hall. This was under Elder Valkan. Now everyone knew Ethan’s identity. Valkan was no exception.

As soon as Ethan and Mika reached the hall, all the students of the Alchemy Hall came to greet Ethan. Even Elder Valkan was there.

Ethan looked at him and smirked.

Valkan’s face was twitching. Even he was speechless when he heard the decree. A random punk who showed him kindness and he thougt of giving him a chance was now in a whole different league than him. Good thing he was good to this man, otherwise...

Ethan came to Valkan and said, ”Old man, I am very interested in this alchemy. Teach me.”

Valkan said, ”Divine Son, alchemy is a thing of lifelong pursuit. You better put your talent into the Battle Hall. There you would shine more.”

Ethan said, ”Teach me for three days. If I think it is wasting my time, I won’t learn then.”

Hearing this, Valkan didn’t argue anymore and directly agreed.

Ethan was introducing himself with everyone in the hall, but suddenly he felt five flying vessels enter his mental domain. They were coming toward the sect. Among them was a person with 8 Earth-level power—stronger than Valkan and Trevor.

There were some young men and women too. Their clothes had different insignias than the Overlord Sect.

Maybe they were from some other sect.

One minute later, everyone heard a shout from outside.

”Overlord Sect, the Sword Sect is here to challenge you. You can send anyone under 30 years old. We would accept every fight.”

The faces of the students turned dark.

”Those damn bastards finally came to our door. They defeated ten sects’ young prodigies in a row, and now they want to defeat us and establish their dominance or worse, poach people.”

Ethan also looked outside. Those people were arrogant. And he could tell why, because they were stronger than the young generation of the Overlord Sect.

But Ethan was enjoying this scene.

A young man among the disciples of the Overlord sect came forward and shouted, ”What a big tone. You think you can defeat everyone under 30 with only those few people? Who do you think we are?”

Hearing this, Ethan slapped his forehead. That was the exact line of a loser in the sect would say. Now someone would come out, mock him violently, and also defeat him in the most humiliating manner—as all those young ones were powerful. Probably the elite generation of the Sword Sect.

They all had at least 700 million tonnes of strength. The strongest one had 2.1 billion tonnes. He was the calmest one. His eyes were closed like none of this mattered to him.

Ethan was very amused. He wanted to teach that punk a lesson, but the problem was,in the eyes of everyone he just awakened. How would he answer how he became so powerful?

Doesn’t matter. He would think of something. First, let’s see if anyone could fight them or not. Overlord Sect also had some elites. They were the Holy Sons and Holy Daughters. Most of them were in seclusion or they were past 30 years. Only four or five disciples were present who were available and could fight.
